Star of The Road, Viggo Mortensen certainly looks dapper on the red carpet for the AFI Film Festival screening of the movie based on the Cormac McCarthy novel. But during filming of the movie, the actor reportedly didn't shower at all during the course of filming in order to get into character.

This was news to his glamorous co-star, Charlize Theron, who is herself no stranger to roughing it. However, she was still surprised to hear the news of Mortensen's method.

Theron told reporters, "What?! I didn't hear that. I was only there for three days! Even if I didn't shower for three days, that's not that bad, right? Compared to an entire film!" Well, wearing that stunning silver mini-dress and gladiator sandals, she looks like she probably smells like a rose.

Hollywood heavyweights Ben Stiller and Charlize Theron turned up at a screening for The Messenger starring Ben Foster. The Six Feet Under actor stars in the film as a casualty notification officer in the Army, whose job it is to inform families of their loss.

Woody Harrelson co-stars and Foster tells the L.A. Times that after their experience working together, "He's my brother." Foster explains that all the notification scenes were done in one take and adds, "I've never cried or laughed in someone's arms so much as Woody Harrelson's."

However, his connection with co-star, Samantha Morton might be a little stronger, but for much different reasons. The actor admits, "I've had a severe actor crush on her for years. So getting the opportunity to play with her--she's Samantha...Morton. A woman who's very easy to fall in love with."

It was a 99-92 win for the LA Lakers over the Los Angeles Clippers. Khloe Karshashian was there to cheer on her husband Lamar Odom who was concentrating on the season. "We feel like we can play for the record of most wins in a season and win another championship," Odom said.

Oh it's that time of the year again, when we recognize all the films of the year--and even more importantly, the outfits being worn by the celebrities who starred in them. A handful of notable newcomers are mixing and mingling with award show veterans. Young Gabourey "Gabby" Sidibe giggled as she gushed over her award, telling the San Jose Mercury News, "I think I was extremely naive when I showed up here tonight. This is a big thing."

The actress stars opposite Mo'Nique and Mariah Carey in the film, Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Saffire, and better start perfecting her red carpet strut because she's going to be a busy woman this awards season.

Carey Mulligan (Shia LaBeouf's rumored flame at the moment) also seemed overwhelmed at the event, having snagged the Hollywood Breakthrough Actress Award for her performance in An Education. She explained, "I'm in a little bit of a daze," Mulligan continued. "This is exciting. The photo bit is a little scary. The lights flash a lot and they made my eyes water, which is terrifying. But it's amazing."

Hilary Swank, who stars in Amelia and will most likely be walking the red carpet for the Academy Awards as a result, was all smiles in her black cut-out dress as she accepted her actress of the year.

The blinding smile on Charlize Theron's face at the OneXOne fundraiser is a testament to her passion for her humanitarian pursuits. She even kissed a woman after she bid $140,000 for a 7-second kiss. For the record, it lasted 20 seconds.

But as we all know from her role in Hancock, there's an ass-kicking, leather-boots wearing vixen lurking underneath those blond curls of hers. And rumor has it, the Oscar winner is considering working with director, George Miller, in the female lead role for Mad Max 4.

British actor, Tom Hardy, is being considered to star as well. The talk is all very hush-hush, but it does sound like a very interesting prospect for Ms. Charlize.

Theron has admitted that she has she has obsessive-compulsive disorder. I don't do counting or anything like that. I'm good with chaos, I just don't like it when chaos is hidden.

See people, she's not perfect after all.

'So I have a problem with cabinets being messy and people just shoving things in cabinets and closing the door.

'I will literally lie in bed and not be able to sleep because I'll be like, "I think I saw something in that cabinet that just shouldn't be there."'

I need one of those for my home to deal with my messy cupboards.

Now that rumors of Megan Fox starring as Catwoman have been debunked, Charlize Theron is reportedly seriously considering the role of the Batman movie vixen.

The Hancock star is quoted by IMDb.com as having said, "I think what has happened to that franchise is amazing. (Batman filmmaker) Chris Nolan is a genius. I would be an idiot to not consider that part." Currently, the follow-up to the wildly successful Batman installment, The Dark Knight, is scheduled to be released in theaters in 2011.

Meanwhile, it appears as if the actress is already on working on her "concealing her real identity" skills here, leaving the gym in Beverly Hills with a friend shielding her face with an umbrella.

Charlize always looks amazing, but she looked especially incredible at the at the New York unveiling of Saks Fifth Avenue's new designer floor. Charlize and Vogue served as the hosts for the unveiling dinner.

Charlize looked gorgeous in a Dior exclusive dress of Saks, while her fellow celebrities looked lovely as well. Black Lively looked blue, but happy, in a piece by Victoria Beckham and Taraji P. Henson looked great in Kaufman Franco. I like the long hair on her. It totally works. Penn Badgley also showed and just looked hot, cause, you know, that's what he does.

The new 50,000 square-foot space will house 23 designer shops and overlooks the Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick's Cathedral. Umm, so can someone please take me shopping there?

Of course, in other Charlize news, it has been confirmed that both Charlize and her Hancock co-star Will Smith will be returning to do the sequel to the 2008 "superhero" film. Here's a tiny little spoiler for you all out there. There will be a third superhuman, al-powerful god character that will be introduced in the second one.

Ooo! What if that's Charlize! That would be awesome. As long as she can take a break away from her baby needs to be the super human, all-powerful god character. I think she can do it. She can use her super human beauty as one of her powers. Love it!
