Well, tonight is the night. New Moon is finally here! A least we don't have to wait another whole year until Eclipse debuts in theaters.

The last major U.S. event for New Moon is taking place tonight in New York City with a screening of New Moon. Although Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart (check out Kristen's green dress in the gallery) and Taylor Lautner do have a few more talk show appearances yet to air.

Here at Socialite Life we've really come to admire the Twihards and their passion for the book, films and stars. So we'd like to thank all of them for their support of Socialite Life, and look forward to our journey with the Twilight gang long after Breaking Dawn comes to the big screen.

An electrifying smile is the most obvious accessory Nikki Reed is sporting on the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. The actress showed off her legs in a pale, blue, silk dress.

Going for a more dramatic look, Anna Kendrick, stepped out in a black, super sparkly dress with one sleeve that appears to be constructed out of a complicated mosaic of tiles. Very festive. Loving her shoes.

Statuesque Noot Seear towered over her New Moon co-star, Elizabeth Reaser. While Noot opted for a busy look, in a patterened mini-dress, Elizabeth's choice of a cream-colored, body-hugging dress provided a contrast to the model's choice of outfit.

Chaske Spencer cut a serious figure, in his all-black suit and BooBoo Stewart followed suit, save for a white necktie.  I can't tell if it's the lighting or what, but both Michael Welch and Justin Chon look like they were a teensy bit heavy handed with their man make-up for the event. But their suits definitely looked nice.

Justine Wachsberger selected a bright green, strapless, short dress for the event, as did Julia Jones, who showed off her shoulders in a white and bright pink dress. Very youthful look for both of them.

First of all, Kristen Stewart showed up to the event sporting some short hair in an all-black ensemble. The actress was adamant in continuing to deny any rumors of a real-life romance with Robert Pattinson.

Stewart seemed upbeat when she addressed the audience and announced, "The whole rumor, tabloid stuff, it's so obviously false." She added, "I don't take it personally, because I have gotten so much experience with this, it's gotten easier."

However, she admits that she can "understand that people have a hard time seeing us outside of our characters." She adds, "I get why they want to know about us and want us to be together and all of that, but I just have to sort of not think about it."

It's a common practice for celebrities to seek themselves attempting a career in fashion, trying their hands at being a designer with a clothing line. But in A Single Man, it's designer Tom Ford who is looking to conquer Hollywood with his directorial debut.

The film screened at the AFI Film Festival, with it's star, Colin Firth, stepping out onto the red carpet to promote the event. Almost immediately after, the British star accepted his BAFTA award for his humantiarian efforts. Someone's dance card is full.

Ginnifer Goodwin talked with Entertainment Tonight about her experience working with Firth, in her small role in the film, "I got to follow Colin Firth around like a puppy dog." That sounds like a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

It's raining Robert Pattinson today!

Robert Pattinson was all smiles as he partied with pals in Tokyo. He's seen here in Tokyo's trendy Ginza district - less than 24-hours after touching down in the Far East.

Pattinson, 23, was accompanied by his entourage and New Moon director Chris Weitz as they spent more than four-hours dining and drinking wine at the three-Michelin star L'osier French restaurant. The usually camera-shy star was all smiles as he left the eatery in a downpour of hail.

At the Scream Awards, attendees were treated to a viewing of a video clip from New Moon. The snippet includes a some behind-the-scenes interviews with animation artists, who labored to bring the wolf pack to life on the big screen.

Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Taylor Lautner, director Chris Weitz and Kristen Stewart sat down to chat about how the wolf pack was made into reality, as well as how the family dynamic of the group was developed.



In addition, here are two new more posters promoting, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, to whet your appetite for what's in store next month.

Here are some more stills from New Moon, as well as outtakes from her Nylon magazine photoshoot. And New Moon director, Chris Weitz, recently chatted with The Hollywood Reporter about his experiences taking over from Twilight director, Catherine Hardwicke.

As Chris explains, "There are two heartthrobs in this movie, not just [Robert Pattinson] but Taylor Lautner. Part of the point was that Edward was away. Readers of the book know this and appreciate it. The story is about loss and heartache; he is present as an absence. Bella is always thinking of him and affected by him."

Weitz also addressed some sticky situations that have developed since he has joined the Twi-team. Chris says, "We'll have to see how people feel about the entire movie, not only the studio but the fans, before the verdict is out whether I direct Number 4."

When it comes to the controversy surrounding the replacement of Rachelle Lefevre with Bryce Dallas Howard in the role of Victoria, Chris confessed, "I don't know much more than everybody else as to why it went down. I think it was a scheduling conflict. I feel very badly for Rachelle, while at the same time think that Bryce (Dallas) Howard is a terrific actress. She'll do a terrific job." Very diplomatic of him.

It's like Christmas in October. First of all, if you haven't started following the Twilight twitter you need to start now. New Moon director Chris Weitz has shared an exclusive photo from the film.

Poor Edward. He's keeping a watchful eye on Bella and Jacob. I'm thinking this is the scene in which Jacob shows up at Forks High on Bella's birthday to give her a gift.

Chris also posted a photo of him at the sound mixing studio stage. This is a Twitter account that looks like it's going to be an awesome follow.
