Christina Aguilera has started filming scenes for her splashy film musical, Burlesque, and it's clear from these pictures that her character is still in "small-town" mode. However, those super-high heels hint at the sexy dance moves her as-of-yet still demure character has in store for the movie audience.

While it's old news that Cher will be co-starring opposite the pop star, The Hollywood Reporter recently announced that Eric Dane has been cast in the film as well. According to the entertainment trade magazine, "Dane is playing the role of a charming, highly successful businessman who offers to buy out of the burlesque club from Cher and vies for Aguilera's heart."

Can't wait to start seeing those photos once X-tina has ramped up into "Giuchie, Giuchie, ya ya dada" mode. The it's all fishnets and glitter, all the time.

Actress Kristen Bell confessed that her dance training to prepare for the splashy film, Burlesque, has really worn her out. The Veronica Mars star tells E! Online, "I've started dance rehearsals and my neck is sore and my inner thighs are so sore."

Oh, the little tease!

As for her face-off with Christina Aguilera's character, Bell explains how it's all going to go down.

Speaking of her character, Kristen explains, "I really want to sing and she's allowed to sing at the club so we fight...In the end when all is well, they may sing together. I almost wish they wouldn't, because I would rather just listen to Christina."

Bell explains that while her role as a burlesque dancer is very titillating, "There is no nudity, and there are no pasties and G-strings." Well, I'm sure there will still be plenty of skin to go around.

Singer Christina Aguilera, her husband and son Max Liron Bratman paid vist Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Los Angeles yesterday. Christina recently signed on to play a stripper in the film Burlesque. Couples Resort star Kristen Bell just signed on to play her rival in the film.

I have a feeling Max won't being heading to the set of Burlesque to watch mommy work.

Breast cancer survivor, Christina Applegate, was just one of many Hollywood leading ladies who showed up to Variety's first annual Power of Women luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The Samantha Who? actress was dressed in a flattering, demure green ensemble and was recognized for her charitable work done through her foundation, Right Action for Women. 

Going for a more vampy look, pop star, Christina Aguilera brought the drama with her dark eyeliner, bright red lipstick and nails, along with a bright blond bouffant. The retro look is one one might expect from an extra on the set of Mad Men.

Speaking of which, its star, January Jones, opted for a simple, short black dress with sheer sleeves. As for Maria Bello, the actress was honored for her efforts made through the Save Darfur Coalition and she was striking in an all-white pantsuit.

Singer Christina Aguilera has made no secret about the domestic violence present in her household growing up. But now that the pop star is married with a child of her own, she's opening up even more about her troubled childhood in a TV documentary.

Aguilera tells E!, in her televised special, "Growing up I did not feel safe. Feeling powerless is the worst feeling in the world. I turned to singing as an outlet. The pain at home is where my love for music came from."

The musician's mother reveals in an interview that she once found her four-year-old daughter with blood dripping down her chin. Explaining what happened, little Christina told her mother, "Daddy wanted to take a nap and I made too much noise."

Things are going great for Aguilera these days, although you wouldn't know it from the look on her face in these recent pictures of the pint-sized songstress out at a Peaches concert with hubby, Jordan Bratman.

Usually exuding a tough, diva posture, it's quite unexpected to see Christina Aguilera show her more vulnerable side in an E! television interview special. The petite singer started to cry as she talked about her 4-year-marriage with husband, Jordan Bratman, and their son, Max.

Referring to her troubled childhood typified by an abusive father, Christina became emotional when discussing her current family life.

"Jordan just continuously...just makes me fall deeper and deeper in love with him every day," the star gushes. "He just exudes such love...and [is] such a great father to Max that it just makes me the happiest woman alive."



Aww, I have to say that seeing X-tina getting all mushy has melted my heart a bit...as well as her make-up.

Before I get to the actual information: Project Runway is back! Project Runway is back! Project Runway is back! And guess who comes with it? Nicole Kidman. Well, kinda. Nicole is set to make a cameo on Thursday night's Project Runway: All-Star Challenge. This is the one where eight previous designers on the show will battle it out for the ultimate Project Runway winner.

Sadly, Nicole won't be on the sixth season of Project Runway, but it is going to have some rather fun hosts. We're talking Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria and Christina Aguilera. Can you just imagine the amazing things that Lindsay will say? "See, I just can't imagine getting through a night of partying and vomiting in that dress."

Nicole hasn't been up to much recently. Maybe it's cause she fired her publicist so no one can generate anytime of news about her. Do you think that she ever gets upset that her ex-husband's daughter is the cutest child on the planet? Does she open the paper and go, "Oh, Suri Cruise. How you may have been mine." I mean, I doubt it too, but it makes one think.

Anyone else super excited for Project Runway? Especially the all-star one. I cannot wait to see who the winner is!!
