For months, we've been so worried that Lindsay's health may be in jeopardy that it's been keeping us up at night, wondering if we will wake up the next morning and read the headline "Lohan's Life Hangs in the Balance." Well, not really, but in all honesty, I think this is a really sad and unfortunate situation for the twenty year-old actress, who is in rehab and not yet even of the legal drinking age.
In December we found out that Lindsay had been attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and then news broke yesterday that at 2:30 p.m., the "Mean Girls" star checked into L.A.'s Wonderland Center. The Wonderland Center offers a minimum three-day detoxification program but each program is specifically designed to meet the needs of each patient. I'm sure that she will recover nicely in the posh surroundings of the treatment center located in the historical Laurel Canyon area of West Hollywood. The center offers first-class food service and accommodations and is securely gated on a private estate. The Wonderland Center has two swimming pools and includes three acres of sitting and walking areas. This rehab retreat has the beauty and comfort of a resort combined with the health services of the finest treatment centers in the nation. I think I could be cured of all my vices too if I was at a place that offered me a bed with 500 thread count sheets, as well as a down comforter to sleep in whilst I enjoy my first bout of the shakes!

Can the weather affect your mood to workout? The answer, of course, is yes. However is that just an excuse? The answer to that is also yes! "It's too cold to work out," or "The weather is too gloomy," are just two of the many excuses people will use to justify skipping a workout. Here are a few tips to help you overcome the winter workout blues and revitalize your routine!
Strength training is a fundamental part of a balanced exercise routine that includes aerobic activity and flexibility exercises. When you strength-train with weights, you're using your muscles to work against the extra pounds. This strengthens and increases the amount of muscle mass in your body by making your muscles work harder than they're used to.
Remember when Samantha found a "grey hair" in her "special region" and she absolutely couldn't stand for that so she dyed it??? In her situation, something went terribly wrong and the carpet ended up most definitely NOT matching the drapes. This is a scenario of a dyeing-gone awry, which is funny to watch on TV, but not so funny when you're the victim of the botched dye-job. So what brings up this topic you might wonder? Well, we're introducing you to a product that is specially designed for the hair down there.

When constructing your workout schedule for the week, it is important to leave 48 hours in between working the same body parts. Your muscles need time to recover and repair themselves after a workout. Be sure you take one day off per week from formal exercise. Before you start your daily exercise you should warm up for at least five minutes--a light jog on the treadmill, walking on the Stairmaster, or riding stationary bike are all great ways to warm up! This post is the first of two parts. Today, I'll be making suggestions for a better cardio workout and then on Friday I'll be giving tips for a better strength-training workout. After that, you'll be able to combine the two to create your perfect total-body workout!
