Let the blood sucking begin!

Honestly when I heard that there was going to be another Vampire anything, I rolled my eyes. That said, Ian Somerhalder can suck on my neck anytime. Executive producer of The Vampire Diaries Kevin Williamson assures viewers that the series "quickly comes to a fork in the road and goes in a completely different direction."

"It's not Twilight, it's not True Blood," Williamson told television critics during CW's day of the summer network briefings.

Somerhalder is "in every single episode," Williamson says. "He's the devil. He just comes to town and makes everyone's life hell." As for Paul Wesley's character, he went out of his way not to watch Twilight. "If there are similarities to Robert's character in Twilight, so be it," he says.

Things that make me uncomfortable: the thought of Megan Fox and Josh Brolin having sex. You too? No? Well, it makes Josh Brolin uncomfortable. At least while they're filming the sex scenes they were awkward and uncomfortable.

Josh and Megan star in the film adaptation of the comic book Jonah Hex, and got to get it on in front of the whole crew. Megan plays a prostitute who falls for the disfigured western hero. Josh tells The Sun about the on screen sex, "To be honest, it was uncomfortable; those scenes are uncomfortable. It was especially uncomfortable because I had this thing on my face."

Josh got to go through make up every morning and have his mouth pulled back with gaffer tape so prosthetics and a mouthpiece could be fitted to it. This made figuring out how to kiss Ms. Fox much more difficult.

Megan didn't seem to mind it as much. Or she was just focused on how much she loves playing Leila the prostitute. "She's a prostitute. It's sort of like a post-Civil War apocalyptic western - and, unfortunately for women, that's how they made their living back then. Leila's a tough, no-nonsense prostitute. I was really happy with it. It is a dark, no-nonsense, no bulls**t comic book movie."

I can only think of the amazing Megan Fox quotes that are going to come from this movie. It'll be a nice mix of Josh with the uncomfortable sex and Megan talking about how much she loves sex. They did indeed seem quite cheerful and excited at Comic-Con.

During their interview with Entertainment Weekly, Twilight stars Rachelle LeFevre and Nikki Reed gushed like crazy at Comic Con in San Diego about their reunion on the set of New Moon.

While the girls chatted up a storm, Kellan Lutz remained cool as a cucumber for the most part, keeping the ladies on track to answer the questions. They talked about how security had been tightened since the first movie and expressed sadness that they weren't as accessible to fans this time around.

One thing is for sure, everyone on the cast besides Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart is PSYCHED to be getting interviewed.

Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia was in his element at Comic Con to promote the new season of the NBC drama. The creator of the series, Tim Kring, thanked the crowd at the San Diego sci-fi event for their dedication. He acknowledged that it was largely due to fan effort that the shoe is even still on the air.

A clip from the first three and a half episodes of the upcoming season was shown to seas fans. Star of the series, Milo said that the best aspect of this year's production was, "Working with Jack Coleman more.  Geeked out 'dancing' with Ray Park."

He also chatted with G4 about his character, Peter Petrelli, saying that the writers allow him to give input on his storylines. "I know, walking around in that kid's shoes...I'm the one feeling the emotion of it. And then hearing it from the fans," he jokes, "'Man, why did you do that? Why did you let Sylar do that?'"



He hinted that after the rough go Peter has had of it on the show, Milo hints that this time around, he's going to be taking the punches with a bit more of a sense of humor. I'm smiling already.

Vampires are multiplying like hamsters up in this piece! And now, they've infiltrated the CW with the new series The Vampire Diaries set to premiere this fall.

Writer/producer Kevin Williamson screened the pilot episode of the series at Comic-Con to a passionate audience. He was quick to point out that he had no intention of stepping on any sparkly Twilight toes.



Hearkening back to the good ol' days of UPN, Williamson told the crowd, "Vampire Diaries has a little bit of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, in it with creatures that go beyond vampires."

The star of the series, Paul Wesley joked of his vampire heartthrob status, "Nine of 10 girls in this rom would throw me under a bus to get to Edward Cullen." Silly boy! That's not how you kill a vampire.
