Mark Lester Not Paris' Daddy As Michael Jackson Is Buried

After an unusually long time after his death, Michael Jackson has finally been laid to rest. ET confirms that Michael was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in the Hollywood Hills, the same place everyone suspected he would be buried shortly after his memorial.

Since the King of Pop passed in June, rumors have been circulating in regards to just about every aspect of his life. Namely, whether or not his is the father of his three children, Michael Joseph "Prince Michael" Jackson Jr., Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince Michael II (known as "Blanket"). The latest rumor was the Michael's long time friend, Mark Lester, was the father of Paris after he donated sperm to Michael.

However, according to Mark and his lawyers, Mark says that he is not the father of Michael's daughter and that he is not claiming paternity. Sources close to Lester say that he donated sperm to Michael but never claimed to be the father, and that the timeline of when he donated and when Paris was born doesn't match up. "These are just merely claims with no legal standing whatsoever," his lawyer tells People.

Although Michael's family and Mark Lester's family were very close friends, there was nothing to indicate him as the father. I guess the only fatherly thing about Mark is that he is the godfather to Michael's three kids. But even that doesn't really matter right now cause grandma Katherine Jackson is officially in charge of them.

Debbie Rowe has always maintained that Michael is the father of Paris and Prince Michael, so there should be no speculation about that. I feel so bad for his kids. First they lose daddy, then they have to go through this whole thing about how their dad maybe isn't their dad. I just hope that no one tells them that daddy may have been murdered. That's never a good thing to hear about your parents, is it?

Katherine Jackson Gets The Kids

A deal has been reached between all parties involved, which gives Katherine Jackson custody of Michael Jackson's three children, Prince, 12, Paris, 11 and Blanket, 7.

Attorney for Katherine, Londell McMillan said in a statement, "It's an agreement, an agreement for the best interests of the children. This is not a money deal. This is not about money." Michael named his mother in his will as guardian of the children and she filed for custody of the children shortly after the will was discovered.

As for the biological mother of Michael's two eldest, Debbie Rowe, she as agreed not to seek custody of the children in return for retaining her parental rights and will get visitation of the kids. Although Katherine retains custodial rights, it's most likely the kids will make their way to their aunt, Rebbie Jackson, shortly.

Wow, I have to say I'm impressed and surprised at how smoothly this seems to have gone.

Debbie Rowe Lacks Maternal Instincts

A 2003 interview with the surrogate mother of Michael Jackson's three children, Debbie Rowe, reveals that she never wanted to be a mother. Rowe told Us Weekly back then, "My kids don't call me mom because I don't want them to. They are Michael's children. It's not that they're not my children, but I had them because I wanted him to be a father."

Rowe plans to fight for custody of Paris and Prince Michael I, to whom she gave birth. In the interview, she also defended her decision to be completely hands-off with the two children, whom she claims Michael raised himself.

"I didn't do it to be a mother. Like I said, you earn the title. I didn't change diapers. I didn't get up in the middle of the night--even when I was there. Michael did it all. I am telling you that he is the most brilliant father," Debbie asserts.

This is going to be a loooooong custody battle. I hope you've got a comfortable seat.

Debbie Rowe Will Be Attending Michael Jackson's Memorial Service

UPDATE: Debbie Rowe will not be attending Michael Jackson's memorial service on Tuesday. Rowe's attorney, Marta Almli, said today, "The onslaught of media attention has made it clear her attendance would be an unnecessary distraction to an event that should focus exclusively on Michael's legacy. Debbie will continue to celebrate Michael's memory privately."

Still no word on that custody thing tough. I guess Debbie is taking it all one step at a time.

---------

Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson's ex-wife and mother of his two oldest kids, will be attending his memorial service, taking place on Tuesday. Marc Schaffel, a former business associate of Jackson's, confirmed this today on ABC's Good Morning America.

According to Schaffel, Debbie and the Jackson family have been playing a game of phone tag and been unsuccessful in reaching each other in the past two weeks. "There has been outreach, unfortunately, like so many cases, there's so much going on that they just have not been able to make contact," Schaffel said. "There were several tries, just for the fact of phone numbers that had changed, you know, answering machines that were full. Contact had not been able to happen prior."

At this time, there is however no word on how Debbie's plan to get custody of her two children is going. Schaffel himself would not comment, saying it was only something her lawyer's could answer. As of Thursday, her lawyers had answered that Debbie "has not reached a final decision concerning the custody proceedings." Well, that answer works for now.

Is anyone else super perplexed by Debbie Rowe? Like, if you give up your parenting rights, why would you want to go back and get your kids? I'm sure you love the kids, but umm, I don't know, why don't you not give up your parenting rights to begin with? Just a thought.

Debbie Rowe Waffling On Custody Decision

Despite uttering the words, "I want my children," Debbie Rowe had decided that she is still not sure if she wants custody of the children she bore with Michael Jackson.

Her lawyer insists she has not made up her mind on the matter.

"Debbie Rowe has not reached a final decision concerning the custody proceedings," attorney Eric M. George told reporters during a press conference Thursday. "As many of you know, my belief is that the pending custody proceedings are the most private and the most sensitive of matters as they impact the lives and the fates of young children. To that end, I've endeavored out of respect for Michael's children and family, especially in this time of grieving, to keep silence on these matters, to deny all interview requests and to share only that information involving upcoming public court proceedings."

Although Rowe herself has not spoken publicly about the custody proceedings, George said, "I have no reason to doubt that what was reported from that conversation was accurately and ethically reported, but that said, it would be a distortion of the truth to allow that single snapshot of a single conversation, to stand as the truth on Debbie's position on this sensitive matter."

Meanwhile, Rowe continues to go about her daily routine on her horse ranch in Palmdale, California. Such a gem that Debbie.

Debbie Rowe Says 'I Want My Children'

Michael Jackson's will explicitly laid out his desire to have his mother, Katherine Jackson, act as legal guardian for his three children. In fact, Michael specifically omitted his ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, in his will, which is featured in the accompanying photo gallery.

However, the surrogate mother of Jackson's two eldest children said in a 90-minute interview, "I want my children." She also outlined plans to fight for custody.

Michael's mother, Katherine, recently filed papers for custody of all three children, claiming that they "have no relationship with their biological mother." To that, Rowe says in the interview, "I am stepping up. I have to."

Responding to claims that she is not the biological mother of the two children and simply acted as their surrogate, Debbie says she's willing to submit to both DNA and psychological testing. Let the games begin!

Did Michael Jackson's Dermatologist Father His Children?

It's widely been suspected that Michael Jackson did not father his three children. And now, Us Weekly claims the sperm donor has been identified as the pop superstar's dermatologist Arnold Klein,

A spy told the magazine, "[Klein] is the dad. He and Debbie signed an agreement saying they would never reveal the truth." A lawyer for the Los Angeles-based doctor released a statement in response to Entertainment Tonight, "Because of patient confidentiality Dr. Klein will make no statement on any reports or allegations."

As for Debbie Rowe, her lawyer has released a statement in the face of claims that she is not the biological mother of the children. "Particular hurtful and insidious is the most recent rumor--which is entirely false--concerning the maternity of the children. Ms. Rowe is the biological mother of the two oldest children."

Michael Jackson's Children Aren't His Biologically

With more pictures emerging of Michael Jackson's children, people have increasingly been wondering why they don't seem to resemble their father. TMZ claims that this is because the late King of Pop was not the sperm donor used to conceive the children via in vitro.

In addition, the site also says that Debbie Rowe was just the surrogate in the process because her eggs weren't used to conceive the children. This, of course, refers to the two eldest children left behind by the passing of their father, Michael.

However, the Jackson family is reportedly still hoping to maintain contact with Rowe because of her close personal connection with the singer.

A business associate of the family, and a friend of Debbie's, Marc Schaffel told People, "They had an incredible bond and friendship even prior to the marriage... Debbie was a very good friend to Michael during all those years."

Despite the connection, however, the Jackson clan remain adamant about their custody claim on the children. Papers filed by Katherine Jackson state that they "have no relationship with their biological mother" as opposed to their "long established relationship" with their grandmother.

Meanwhile, as these pictures show, the memorial commemorating the pop star's passing continues to grow.
