Robert Pattinson's Talk Show Adventures: Stripping Fans

"Divide and conquer" has been the theme for how The Twilight Saga: New Moon stars, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have been taking on the talk show circuit to promote the film's premiere in Los Angeles.

Kristen has been making the rounds, as well as Taylor Lautner and now Rob is up to bat. The star made his way to chat with Regis Phibin and Kelly Ripa on their morning talk show, where he did a great job making the Twilight moms in the audience swoon.



When Rob visited Ellen DeGeneres on her show, the 23-year-old confessed that as a joke, he once suggested to a female fan that she "take [her] clothes off" to get his attention. This took place at a signing, where RPattz had just finished penning 500 signatures.

As he tells Ellen, "She stood there and frantically started taking her clothes off and got dragged out of the room by security. I never felt more terrible...I sound like I'm actually just abusing my position." It's OK, Rob, I can guarantee she I...er, SHE was totally into it.

Kellan Lutz Keeps His Shirt On For Ellen

In the round of talk show appearances for the New Moon cast, Kellan Lutz paid a visit to Ellen DeGeneres. He talked about being a part of such a huge phenomenon and how his dogs keep him grounded.

However, in what would have been the highlight of the interview, Kellan lets us down a little.

John Travolta Gets Emotional In Ellen DeGeneres Interview

Promoting his new film with wife, Kelly Preston, and daughter, Ella Bleu, John Travolta made a visit to Ellen DeGeneres to talk about Old Dogs.

Although the picture is a comedy in which Travolta stars opposite Robin Williams, emotions were running high during the interview as the movie star fought back tears when discussing the loss of his 16-year-old son, Jett Travolta.

The actor said, "I just want to take one moment to thank each and every one of you throughout this country, through out the world for all your support and all your love for our family."

By his side was his 9-year-old daughter and co-star in the movie, Ella Bleu, who makes her film debut alongside her parents. When Ellen asked John, "You are so proud of her, aren't you?" he responded by saying, "I'm holding back the tears."

Mary Murphy Talks Domestic Abuse & Rape With Ellen DeGeneres

So You Think You Can Dance judge, Mary Murphy, really bared her soul in an interview with talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres. The famously perky dance aficionado confessed a troubled past to the blond comedian.

Murphy discussed her recent Us Weekly cover, in which she details surviving domestic violence and rape during the nine years of her marriage to her ex-husband. Mary described the escalation from verbal abuse into physical altercations that required police intervention

In her emotional confession, Mary tells Ellen, "I was in such disbelief because when this is happening to you, and when you love somebody, it's just so horrific because it's like having an out-of-body experience because this just can't be happening. This is my knight in shining armor."



Mary explained her inability to leave for so many years, even when her husband was out of the country as being subject to "an electric fence, mentally." During her interview with Larry King, the dance judge said, "I still had no intention to talk to anybody until I saw Rihanna's face and seeing that just brought it all up....Abuse, it just survives and thrives in silence."

T.R. Knight's Biological Clock Is Ticking

All that hanging out with his Grey's Anatomy co-stars and new moms, Katherine Heigl and Ellen Pompeo, has clearly rubbed off on T.R. Knight. When the star went on the Ellen DeGeneres talk show, he gushed about Katherine's little one, saying, "She's such a beautiful baby."

During the interview, Knight declared, "I want a baby. I don't know if it's going to end up working out, but that would be something I would like."

That, my friend, is why you keep the receipt.

Kelly Osbourne Was Ashamed To Tell Sharon Her Drug Woes

Chatting with talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, 24-year-old, Kelly Osbourne, admits that when she was facing her demons of addiction, she was reluctant to go to her mother, Sharon Osbourne, for help.

Osbourne tells the talk show host, in an interview set to air Monday, "My mum had been in a relationship with my father for years and years trying to get him sober. I was completely ashamed that I would have to go to her and now tell her that her daughter has issues as well."

The Dancing With the Stars contestant reveals that she eventually did come clean to her parents. Osbourne adds, "I felt like I let her down--but what I didn't realize was that if I would have went to her a long time ago, she would have helped me no matter what."

Paula Abdul Dances Her Way Through VH1 Divas Live

Former American Idol judge, Paula Abdul, reminded the audience at the 2009 VH1 Divas Live special that she's still got it, launching into a medley of her greatest hits (check out that video after the jump..

During the performance, Abdul wowed the audience with a splashy dance number, showing off her fit figure. In addition, at one point during the evening, Abdul shimmied through the audience, doing a spot-on impersonation of Ellen DeGeneres up to the stage.



As for the rest of the performers who made their way to the event in their finest evening wear, it was a powerhouse of a lineup with Kelly Clarkson, Adele, Melissa Etheridge, India.Arie, Jennifer Hudson, Stevie Wonder, Leona Lewis, Cyndi Lauper and Miley Cyrus.

As for young Jordin Sparks, she showed off some lighter, wavy locks on stage. Someone's lightening up for the summer.

Eva Longoria Parker Helps Children Again, Chats About Ellen On 'Idol'

Obviously Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker is the most qualified person in the world to give her opinion on Ellen DeGeneres taking over the fourth judge's chair on American Idol. Eva told ET, "I am a big Ellen fan. I think it's going to be fantastic."

The star attended the annual gala that benefits Padres Contra el Cancer, a parents against cancer association that raises money for Latino children with cancer. She said about her charity work, "My older sister was special needs and we kind of grew up in this environment of volunteerism and giving back and philanthropy and so it's kind of just natural for me to do things like this. It's a lot of work, but it's not work to me. It's really rewarding."

And Eva wasn't the only one there talking about Ellen and charities. Comedian George Lopez who once again hosted Padres event with Eva said of the Ellen replacement, "I think it puts Simon [Cowell] in a very interesting position." Haha! I have completely forgotten that Simon is even a part of that show. Now I'm even more excited to watch it. I really hope Ellen and Simon go at it. I mean, they won't, but it would be funny.

Maybe we'll see Eva and her husband Tony Parker in the audience during one of the American Idol tapings. I want her to bring a sign that reads something like, "Hey Ellen! I'm only here cause I talked about you that one time." OK, maybe that sign won't work, but you get the idea.
