The unlikely romantic relationship between Counting Crows frontman, Adam Duritz, and 23-year-old actress Phantom of the Opera star Emmy Rossum all started with a lone Tweet.

The festive actress--who recently showed up at the opening for the new Gap Concept store looking prepped and ready for the upcoming holiday season--confesses how their pairing started over the summer in a radio interview.

Rossum explains, "I was on tour with the band this summer. They invited me actually on Twitter." She adds, "That's how we met--on a dare. They dared me to come sing with them a song that I'd never sung before...So I ended up on tour with the band, and it was very, very fun."

But this still doesn't explain exactly how they ended up dating. Did she guest star on Friends or something?

There's quite a lot going on here at the GQ Gentleman's Ball, although you might not see it at first glance. First of all, Mark Wahlberg revealed the gender of his expected fourth child with wife, Rhea Durham, to People magazine on the red carpet for the event.

Wahlberg confesses, "I'm having another girl. So I'll have two girls and two boys." He also revealed that the couple are content with four, but that Rhea has the final say in the matter, saying, "My wife is allowed to pick the magic number...as many as she wants to have."

Another high-profile couple at the event was Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore, who showed off the solidarity of their union by dressing in his and hers grayscale outfits. It's a sign of their undying affection for matching fashion.

Pop star and mother-of-two, Gwen Stefani, showed off her legs in a short black dress at the Fashion Group International's 2009 Night Of Stars in NYC last night. The singer pulled up her white-blonde tresses in a half-up, half-down do, and sported her black cat-eyeliner make-up, but opted to leave her crimson lipstick for another occasion.

Fellow rocker, Jon Bon Jovi, looked all dapper himself, in a suit and tie. Dita Von Teese also opted for black and definitely did not skimp on the red lipstick and nail polish, in her glamorous frock and head-piece.

Young actresses, Evan Rachel Wood and Emmy Rossum, opted for some sumptuous jewel-tones in their red and gold (respectively) Grecian-style toga dresses.

Softening the blow from ending her clandestine marriage to Justin Siegel, Emmy Rossum has been spending some quality red carpet time with her new beau, Counting Crows singer, Adam Duritz.

The 23-year-old actress turned up in a sparkly white gown on the arm of Duritz at the American Ballet Theater Fall gala at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall in New York. And it seems that part of the couple's attraction to one another is being able to make beautiful music together.

Duritz tells People magazine, "She can sing her ass off...I sing with her all the time." The scruffy musician adds, "I like to make music with her." After chatting with press, the headed of to dinner, hand-in-hand.

Other celebs in attendance were dressed to the nines, including models Veronica Webb and Iman, who both opted for stunning, floor-length gowns. Actresses Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis opted for twinsie-looking black and white coats, dresses and black pumps.

So Apparently Emmy Rossum was married. That's right. Not only did no one in the world know, but we didn't even find out about it until it was over. Her husband (until this past August, that is) is a music business executive named Justin Siegel. 

Hold tight, that's not even the weird part. As wild as it was that she was married and divorced before anyone found out about it, Emmy is taking her married-no-more butt around New York City with Adam Duritz of the Counting Crows. Yeah, that front man with the wild dreads who back in the 90's dated Jennifer Aniston AND her bff Courtney Cox. 

Apparently the odd couple shared a romantic dinner at Dos Caminos Restaurant last month in Soho, and were seen kissing and singing together at a concert in Central Park. I'm sorry, it's just too weird to be cute.

Emmy, you're adorable. And not to mention, 23 years old. For all of you that grew up with the Counting Crows like me, Adam is 45 years old now. Don't get me wrong, Adam was cool in his day, and he can write a mighty fine song that will make you cry harder during any break up than you should be. But C'mon girl, you can do a whole lot better than that.

The Cut reports that Courtney Love was a bit of a fashion disaster at the Spring 2010 Narcisco Rodriguez show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

It wasn't so much what she was wearing, but the fact that she seemed physically incapable of sitting still. According to the account, Love talked throughout the course of the entire show in addition to squirming incessantly, much to the chagrin of those around her.

And those around her included Emmy Rossum, Jessica Alba and Anna Wintour. And of all three of them, I'm going to guess that Anna is the best equipped for figuring out a way to get Courtney to act right. That's right, a good, old-fashioned, hot latte to the face.

Celebrities know whose butt they need to kiss in order to make it in Hollywood, and one of the biggest butts is The Hollywood Foreign Press Association. They're the ones who hand out the Golden Globes every year. So when they say they want you to show up at their luncheon so they can hand out financial grants, you do. And boy, the celebs did.

The association handed out about $1,249,000 in grants today to 29 film school and other non-profit organizations. It's up from last year's about, as there was less money after the Golden Globes got nicked with the writer's strike.

But don't worry, the Globes are back again on January 17, and they will be fabulous. I mean, if Chris Pine shows up to the luncheon, you know he's going to show up to the actual show. Oh Chris. I love you. Sorry, got distracted. Make sure to check out all of the celebrities who showed up to luncheon. They're all so pretty. Pretty celebs are the best, don't you think?
