Nicole Kidman Has A Project On The Runway

Before I get to the actual information: Project Runway is back! Project Runway is back! Project Runway is back! And guess who comes with it? Nicole Kidman. Well, kinda. Nicole is set to make a cameo on Thursday night's Project Runway: All-Star Challenge. This is the one where eight previous designers on the show will battle it out for the ultimate Project Runway winner.

Sadly, Nicole won't be on the sixth season of Project Runway, but it is going to have some rather fun hosts. We're talking Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria and Christina Aguilera. Can you just imagine the amazing things that Lindsay will say? "See, I just can't imagine getting through a night of partying and vomiting in that dress."

Nicole hasn't been up to much recently. Maybe it's cause she fired her publicist so no one can generate anytime of news about her. Do you think that she ever gets upset that her ex-husband's daughter is the cutest child on the planet? Does she open the paper and go, "Oh, Suri Cruise. How you may have been mine." I mean, I doubt it too, but it makes one think.

Anyone else super excited for Project Runway? Especially the all-star one. I cannot wait to see who the winner is!!

Carb-Loving Eva Longoria To Give Vegas A Beso

Restaurateur and self-professed food lover Eva Longoria is making a splash in Vegas with the opening of a second restaurant. The actress opened her first--named Beso--in Hollywood and now she's planning to open Beso Vegas.

The eatery will open its doors with a typically Vegas event on New Year's Eve 2010, hosted by the petite Desperate Housewives star. Longoria tells People that she's "so excited about opening Beso Vegas." She adds, "Everything we offer is pretty unique. Nobody in Vegas has anything similar."

And putting her money where her mouth is--in terms of her passion for eating--here's Eva stepping out with a female friend for a whopping helping of pasta before hitting up some boutiques in Los Angeles. Gotta love a woman who carbo loads before shopping.

Hollywood's Hottest Celebs Attend The Hollywood Foreign Press Luncheon

Celebrities know whose butt they need to kiss in order to make it in Hollywood, and one of the biggest butts is The Hollywood Foreign Press Association. They're the ones who hand out the Golden Globes every year. So when they say they want you to show up at their luncheon so they can hand out financial grants, you do. And boy, the celebs did.

The association handed out about $1,249,000 in grants today to 29 film school and other non-profit organizations. It's up from last year's about, as there was less money after the Golden Globes got nicked with the writer's strike.

But don't worry, the Globes are back again on January 17, and they will be fabulous. I mean, if Chris Pine shows up to the luncheon, you know he's going to show up to the actual show. Oh Chris. I love you. Sorry, got distracted. Make sure to check out all of the celebrities who showed up to luncheon. They're all so pretty. Pretty celebs are the best, don't you think?

'Desperate Housewives' Season 5 Finale Wedding Tease

It's a toss-up who the blushing bride is going to be for the Desperate Housewives finale of Season 5. Scenes feature a mystery bride marrying character Mike Delaney in a church, her face concealed with a thick, white veil.

And to keep paparazzi and viewers guessing, Desperate Housewives stars Dana Delaney and Teri Hatcher were spotted on the set of the ABC series wearing wedding dresses. They posed next to one another for photos with big smiles on each of their faces.

Both their characters have a conceivable shot at getting hitched, with Teri's Susan Mayer divorced from Mike, but still exhibiting a strong connection with him.

Meanwhile, Dana's character Katherine Mayfair is Mike's fiance and could also be making the trip down the aisle.

Eva Longoria Parker Helps The Children

Eva Longoria Parker may play an uncaring housewife on TV, and let's face it, probably in her own home, but Eva cares when it comes to the children. On Thursday Septemebr 10, Eva will be hosting the Ninth Annual Fund-Raising Gala, "El Sueño De Esperanz" for Padres Contra el Cancer, a parents against cancer association that raises money for Latino children with cancer.

Eva, who is also the National Spokesperson for Padres Contra el Cancer, said of the event, "This celebration is such an inspiring experience not only for me, but for the many friends who share in the joy and the passion of Padres' life - saving mission. I consider the opportunity to serve as a voice for these children and their families as one of my life's greatest blessings."

Well good for you Mrs. Parker. Also hosting the event with her will be comedian George Lopez. What if Eva suddenly realizes that George is the true love of her life and leaves her husband, Tony Parker, and she and George ride off into the sunset, donating all of their wedding money to Padres Contra el Cancer? Who has an overactive imagination? Me.

Eva Longoria Takes Her Hairtourage To Spain

Tony Parker and Eva Parker traveled to France to take in the French Open and now the couple have continued their European vacation to Spain.

Eva popped over to Mallorca with her hairstylist buddy Ken Paves, who is nursing a broken heart after his split (end! ha! get it?) from longtime client Jessica Simpson.

Also along for the trip was Eva's buddy Maria Bravo. The trio took in the sights and sounds, stopping off for a little bit of shopping along the way. And Tony might not have been there on this particular outing, but I'm sure he was there in spirit.

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen along with Tony Parker and Eva Longoria are enjoying some tennis action at the Stade Roland Garros. The couples are in Paris for the French Open, part of the Grand Slam, which spans over two weeks.

Hayden Christensen and his fiancee Rachel Bilson took some photos during some courtside action in Paris on Friday. With the fashion label he represents as an official sponsor of the tennis championships this week, the pair were the picture of devoted fans as they watched the exciting games in VIP style.

2009 Life Balls Celebrates Life, Raises Money For AIDS Research

Katy Perry took the opportunity to perform at the 17th annual Life Ball 2009 at the Rathausplatz in Vienna, Austria to bust out yet another costume for the event. The singer donned a shell-themed ensemble and was lowered down to the stage à la The Birth of Venus.

Married couple, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, proved that they enjoy attending charitable events on the other side of the Atlantic as much as they do here in L.A.

Pam Anderson actually looked quite amazing all dressed up in gold lame, her hair teased to high heaven and a gold boom box propped up on her shoulder. It's so hit or miss with this one.

Abbie Cornish Shines At Cannes 'Bright Star' Premiere

Director Jane Campion has a new film competing for the Palme D'Or award at Cannes; Bright Star, an Australian-British co-production.

Bright Star is about the love affair between poet John Keats, who died of tuberculosis in 1821 at the age of 25, and his young neighbour Fanny Brawne. English actor Ben Whishaw plays Keats and Australian Abbie Cornish plays Brawne.

The initial response from the film's first audience was respectful but muted. It was only afterwards that, among the usual divisions, many critics told Campion how moving they found it.

Bright Star's story and many of its incidents are drawn from biographies of Keats and from his letters. It is told, however, from Brawne's point of view, a position that occasionally feels off-kilter, however familiar the themes of love and loss, because it is so unusual in movies.

"It was such a great way to meet Keatsbecause she fell in love with him and, through her, so can we," says Campion.

Is Jane set to become the first female director two win two Palme D'Or awards (she one for The Piano)? She still has the distinction of being the only female director who has won.
