'Desperate Housewives' Cast: 2009 SAG Awards Red Carpet

The voice of Desperate Housewives did anything but blend into the red carpet as actress, Brenda Strong, struck a dramatic pose in a one-shoulder, gun-metal silk gown complete with beading across the top. This broad needs more screen time.

Teri Hatcher showed off a short bob in a long, cascading Monique Lhuillier design. It's a big gown for a skinny lady. Speaking of tiny women, Eva Longoria looked totally over-the-top in a strapless, frothy peach number by Jenny Packham and a fancy bit of hardware on her neck.

OMG, I just realized--it's my sister's old Peaches n' Cream Barbie Doll!

Eva Longoria Blows 2008 Away With Kisses From Beso

For those who happened to be in Hollywood for NYE, Eva Longoria threw a soiree at her restaurant Beso where the Desperate Housewives actress played hostess. Within walking distance, the club Area was charging $150 a head for their party where Robin Thicke performed for revelers.

On the red carpet for Eva's event was a super old-looking Christopher Lambert, a totally vamped-up Julie Benz (from Dexter) and Josh Henderson who had on his arm, a girl who resembled a technologically-enhanced Audrina Patridge. She's been digitally remastered!

It doesn't look like Eva's hubby Tony Parker was anywhere in sight. He was probably exhausted from being married and avoiding getting Eva pregnant and just needed a nap.

Eva Longoria Parker Works Hard For The Marriage

Eva Longoria Parker, Desperate Housewife, says that her marriage to NBA player Tony Parker is a chore that she has to attend to daily. Ok, she didn't actually say that to Glamour, but you know she's thinking it. She seem like the type who wants a "yes, dear" type man and might tend to throw clothes out an upper-story window when her needs aren't met.

"Marriage is a commitment, so you always have to work at it," she says. "For us, just juggling schedules is the biggest obstacle we have, and we don't even really have a problem with that either."

Yeah, yeah, the best part of this interview is that it claims Eva once said she didn't enjoy sex until she started masturbating. Why wasn't this the main focus. Finally, something juicy. The pregnancy games were getting a little tired.

Eva Longoria Laughs Through Her Baby Woes

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is ready to start a family with her husband Tony Parker. However, her basketball star hubby isn't in the mood to start breeding just yet and his reluctance has been a source of contention between the two.

Earlier this year, when Tony was asked whether or not Eva was with child, the San Antonio Spurs player responded, "She's not pregnant now if that's your question. I'm not thinking like that right now."

And now, a source is telling People magazine, "Tony isn't ready for a baby. He's much younger than Eva and at the top of his profession, while Eva is in her ''baby prime'' as she calls it. She even threatened to leave him twice before he agreed." And this seems like a tall order since the spy also says that their busy schedules mean they rarely spend enough time together to actually make a baby.

Wow. This woman is going to have hijack Tony's sperm and get herself pregnant with a turkey baster, she's so determined.

More Gorgeousness From 'Benjamin Button' Premiere

Both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are receiving Oscar buzz this awards season. Angie's turn in the Clint Eastwood-directed Changeling has her earmarked for a nomination and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is rumored to be receiving numerous nominations in the technical departments.

But let's be honest with ourselves, where these two really excel is red carpet posing. Angie's looking so good here at the premiere at Mann's Village Theatre, it's all Brad can do to keep from bending her over and having at her. It probably helped that his parents Bill and Jane Pitt were there.

And that's quite a feat, considering the fact that the red carpet was littered with gorgeous men and women. Jennifer Lopez stunned in an ivory gown that although it was was doing strange things to her breasts, really was quite flattering.

Eva Longoria chose an aquamarine satin dress and looked cute as a button. Is she trying to make her movie career happen? I feel like I've seen previews for things she's in and they all look like made-for-TV Lifetime cinematic gems.

Brad Pitt And Angelina Gussied Up At 'Benjamin Button' Premiere

The Pitt-Jolie's sure do clean up well. Brad Pitt, and the most wonderful woman in the world, Angelina Jolie put on their finest designer couture for the Los Angeles premiere of The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button held at Mann's Village Theatre.

A boobalicous and voluptuous Jennifer Lopez joined Brad and Angie on the red carpet, along with Tilda Swinton, Eva Longoria, Jacqueline Bisset and Cate Blanchett.

The film is looking to bank multiple technical awards at this years Oscar's, but the buzz is that it's looking like Brad's going to get snubbed. Hopefully the couple will avoid a pity adoption in their time of need.

News Bites: Roselyn Sanchez Gets Hitched

-On the Puerto Rican island of Vieques, Roselyn Sanchez and actor Eric Winter tied the knot. On Saturday, the Without a Trace actress stepped out in a hand-embroidered dress and her 4.3-carat engagement ring on her hand. Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria was in attendance.

-Guy Ritchie has plans to open a pub in New York in order to find a way to spend time with his children with ex-wife Madonna, who has since taken up residence in the Big Apple.

-It seems that Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have taken their mysterious relationship to the next level. The couple are engaged and are reportedly planning to wed in the middle of next year.

Eva Longoria Feeds Models 'Desperate' For Beso's Food

A huge gathering of A-lister buddies of the Desperate Housewives star showed up to her Hollywood eatery Beso to help Eva Longoria celebrate her Allure cover with a private dinner with her best lady friends.

Eva's co-star Felicity Huffman showed up to support her pal, as did supermodel Heidi Klum, Seven Pounds actress Rosario Dawson and soon-to-be-departing-for-Milan Victoria Beckham.

Obsessively fashion-conscious Victoria said of her friend's photo shoot, gave her buddy a thumbs-up, "I love the styling. It's a really, really, gorgeous cover and a gorgeous spread."

Victoria Beckham To Take Her Boys (And Ladies) To Milan

Showcasing the only body parts she possesses that could possibly be described as "rotund," Victoria Beckham enjoys a swank evening out at her buddy Eva Longoria's Hollywood restaurant Beso while wearing a body-hugging white dress.

Posh is making sure to soak up as much Tinseltown events as possible before heading back to Europe for footballer hubby David Beckham to fulfill his contract to play with AC Milan.

The short-haired Spice Girl told The Sun, "It will literally be for two months, because the season finishes here in LA and David will then go to train with AC Milan." Aww, I'm going to miss the Beckhams while they're gone. Mostly Cruz Beckham.
