Some candid shots from when Eva Longoria posed for the most recent issue of Allure give a very candid look at the petite star of Desperate Housewives. Longoria posed in a simple turtleneck top, short shorts and heels (reminding me of Gwen Stefani from her retro-looking "Cool" music video) in the backyard of a Malibu Mansion in the mountains of Santa Monica.
With our pregnancy watch in full force, I would have to say that she doesn't look to be sporting a bump. But it is interesting that in every picture, she has her arm somewhere near her middle, as if she's shielding it. Someone get a body language expert in here, STAT!

The Desperate Housewives star claims that she's put on a few for this season of her ABC show to play a more matronly Gabrielle Solis and not because she's pregnant. I'm starting to believe Eva Longoria now because she doesn't look like she's getting any bigger and sometimes, it seems her like her "weight gain" disappears when you shoot her from another angle.
In any case, this is what keeps me up at night.
Longoria showed up to the Padres Contra El Cancer's 8th Annual "El Sueno De Esperanza" event in a sparkly gold dress. If she was trying to distract me from speculating over her belly by stepping out with big Texas hair, unfortunately for her, I have a one-track mind.

Desperate Housewives topped the ratings poll for Sunday night premieres this week with all of its usual drama, albeit 5 years down the road from where it left off last May.
According to one TV critic I know and trust, MSNBC.com's Gael Fashingbauer-Cooper, the writers have been successful so far with the half-decade jump. The 'wives have new grown-up children (aka not toddlers) without the hassles of writing around pregnancies and babies, while the drama surrounding their relationships seems as feline as ever.
I have to agree with Gael, Edie is still bringing the sass, but now I have to wonder if Nicollette Sheridan is just a good actor or it's all natural.

I kid, I kid! She said it! I didn't! "Fat" Eva Longoria attended the EA Games NBA Live 09 Launch Party at her restaurant Beso in Beverly Hills last night. Husband Tony Parker was along for the ride. Other hoes at the hoedown included some Heroes, and the scrumptious Chris Evans. He needs to stop going to these sad parties if he wants to achieve leading man status.
Eva put pregnancy rumors to bed by revealing that she had gained weight for her role on Desperate Housewives. She's still wearing the baby bump-hiding shirts though, with the little camouflage cloth awning to disguise a possible fetus.

If you're a guy, most likely, you're just going to show up to any given fancy red carpet event wearing a tuxedo. Seriously, it's like a sea of well-behaved penguins. But a guy always looks good in a tux, so why mess with a recipe that clearly works?
First off, we have Mark Wahlberg who I believe showed up to the 2008 Emmy Awards alone and looking very happy and with good reason. He looks very debonair to be sure, but I still don't understand why guys do that half beard, half stubble nonsense. It just looks unkempt.
A man who always exhibits a passion for fashion is Sean Combs, who escorted his mother Janice Combs on the red carpet. I think he looked great, with those French cuffs and a simple suit. I also have to say I'm happy that he ditched the sunglasses. Nice work, Diddy.
A man who varied from the tuxedo formula and with great success is Eva Longoria's hubby Tony Parker. I have to say, the two of them looked great in their varying shades of grey and white. If there's one thing they know how to do, it's color-coordinate.
And of course, Project Runway's Christia†n Siriano would never be content to simply show up in a cookie cutter suit and opted for a very fitted black tux with a gold, frilly shirt underneath. He was giving total Blue Steel.

No matter what I think of the show, I'm always curious as to what these ladies will be wearing on the red carpet for any given awards show. Eva Longoria did look cute on the red carpet in a silver red cress, but the sparkly silver bow directly over her tummy did nothing to dissuade me from thinking that girlfriend is preggo. Also, Tony Parker looked quite nice a suit, but what man doesn't, really?
Marcia Cross was wearing a very wispy, flesh-toned strapless gown with a poofy skirt and some lace. It looks like a nice dress, but I wish the color contrasted more. I like Felicity Huffman's simple white and silver gow--it's simple and elegant.
I have to say, though, that Teri Hatcher in her frilly yellow strapless gown and newly single Nicolette Sheridan in her strapless purple dress looked the best, bringing some color to the red carpet for the Desperate Housewives.

-Eva Longoria says that "I'm not pregnant, I'm fat." Here she is with her basketball husband Tony Parker in Paris. She says that the pregnancy stories are false and that she gained weight for her Desperate Housewives role as the new mother to obsese twin daughters. Longoria claims she ate a ton of crap over the summer and stopped working out. What do YOU think? Lies?
-Anne Hathaway's ex-crook Raffaello Follieri has pled guilty to 14 counts of wire fraud and money laundering today. He pled guilty with a deal to receive no more than five years in prison. If this doesn't drive Anne Hathaway (back) to lesbianism, nothing will.
-Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift have both been nominated for Country Music Awards. Carrie's in the running for Album of the Year and joins Swift as a nominee for Female Vocalist of the Year. If Carrie wins, I totally hope she thanks that "bovine bitch Jessica Simpson for keeping me in the spotlight."

Doing double-duty at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week for Spring 2009, Eva Longoria debuted a new variety of chocolate candy. The Desperate Housewives star helped to launch the new M&M's Premium candy collection on Sunday before jetting off on a plane to France to visit hubby Tony Parker.
I love how they seem to be marketing it as the candy for rich people, with possibly pregnant Eva looking all fancy in a brown beaded mini-dress. Her buddy Mario Lopez is also in bed with the M&M company and hosted an event for the company passing out M&M Ice Cream Treats earlier this summer.
But it's probably not a major coincidence since Mario's in bed with just about everybody.

Eva Longoria showed off her new, short hairdo at the Television Critics Association event for Disney ABC along with the other ladies of Wisteria Lane. The new, low-maintenance haircut is the result of her Desperate Housewives character's new, "frumpy" look for the upcoming season.
Eva told press, "Marc [Cherry] told me last year before the season finale that we wanted [Longoria's character] to have the mom haircut, and that she has let herself go because Carlos is blind, she's had two kids, and she's just really kind of let go of that vanity."
Rather than having to deal with putting on a wig every day to portray the new, less-vain Gaby, Eva opted to chop off her long lovely locks. In addition, she's suiting up every day with extra padding on her butt, stomach and boobs to complete the look.
OMG, my boyfriend totally needs to go blind.
