Eva Longoria showed off her new, short hairdo at the Television Critics Association event for Disney ABC along with the other ladies of Wisteria Lane. The new, low-maintenance haircut is the result of her Desperate Housewives character's new, "frumpy" look for the upcoming season.

Eva told press, "Marc [Cherry] told me last year before the season finale that we wanted [Longoria's character] to have the mom haircut, and that she has let herself go because Carlos is blind, she's had two kids, and she's just really kind of let go of that vanity."

Rather than having to deal with putting on a wig every day to portray the new, less-vain Gaby, Eva opted to chop off her long lovely locks. In addition, she's suiting up every day with extra padding on her butt, stomach and boobs to complete the look.

OMG, my boyfriend totally needs to go blind.

Gawd, "baby bump" is such a gross phrase. When I'm watching one of the tabloid shows, and I listen to the salivating host or hostess breathlessly discuss someone's "bump", I want to puke on my Adidas slides. And these slides are ten years old and perfectly broken in and can be worn on any occasion! They're precious! Anyway, Eva Longoria showed up to the CFDA Awards the other night looking a little bloated. She probably had some ribs or something and was still digesting. I think Eva's the kind of girl who eats hearty.

Longoria, 33, was accompanied by her NBA player husband Tony Parker. I'm more concerned with that powdered doughnut face she's got going on. She looks like she came out of a Hostess box. The bloat will fade, the Sweeney Todd makeup look needs to be scraped manually.

Eva says she looks forward to when she has children with Tony. "Tony and I would love to have kids," she told People in 2007.

"We do not comment about clients' personal [lives]," her publicist says. Of course you do, that's what you're for! That means they don't know.

She's kinda just a cheerleader anyway. Here's Eva Longoria cheering her husband Tony Parker on as the San Antonio Spurs battled the LA Lakers last night in Los Angeles. The game was littered with stars. But Eva was very visible in a little black spangly dress, cheering her heart out for her dude. It didn't help as they lost 92-100 in the Western Conference finals. Whatever those are. Seriously, basketball isn't my thing. Baseball is. Why? Because it's boring, so you really don't have to pay attention to the game and you can get shitty drunk with your friends. I'm just being honest.

Also on hand were Cameron DIaz (she's still in the lost-her-Dad no snark zone), Denzel Washington, Adam Sandler, Lionel Richie, Antonio Banderas, Dr. Dre, short Monchichi Hilton-dipper David Katzenberg and Dyan Cannon. Who deserves our love for spelling her first name as "Dyan."

We had a little bit of a hot spell out here in Los Angeles, so that might be why Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross has decided to go short for the summer. She hit up the hair guru and best friend of Eva Longoria, Ken Paves, and was spotted here rocking a shorter, darker do.

Granted, it could be a wig, but either way, I think it looks great. If you look at these pics, Marcia really seems to love it, flipping her tresses around and giving subtle smiles to the paparazzi.

The celeb attendance at the LA Laker's Western Conference Final series first game, was high as anyone would suspect it to be.

Eva Longoria came to support husband Tony Parker, who is a star player for the other team, the San Antonio Spurs.

The Jonas Brothers made a double appearance last night, first performing at the American Idol Finale before the game.

I listened as they told Ryan Seacrest this morning that as soon as they ran off the stage they were escorted through underground tunnels from the Nokia Center to the Staples Center where they watched the game with DIsney starlets Brenda Song and Selena Gomez.

Selena is rumored to be Disney's main focus after all of the "scandals" with Miley Cyrus.

Nick Jonas and Miley broke up this past December because she took their relationship public by kissing him on the cheek onstage. Is Selena hedging in on Miley's ex as well as her career? Will Brenda Song ever forgive Selena for wearing a Spurs jersey?

And who needs a new 90210 when we've got the real high school drama right in front of us?

Oh, and no wonder Tony looks mad. The Lakers came back from a 20-point deficit to win the game. Go team!

Last night the two-hour finale for Desperate Housewives gave us a peek into the future of Wisteria Lane, leaving us with a few surprises.

Gaby looks like crap, understandably because she has two daughters and as far as we can see no father around. Bree has some sort of cookbook out and is back together with husband Orson. Lynette's twin sons both have records for stealing cars, and at least one has made a stay in juvenal. Katherine's daughter Dylan got engaged in Paris.

But the big shocker of the futuristic montage?

Susan isn't married to Mike any longer, but she does have a new good looking man in her life.

Oh and by the way, where is Edie? The floozy probably ran off with Mike. How predictable!

I wonder how much Eva Longoria paid this photographer to make sure he caught her being all affectionate on her husband. Look at Tony. He doesn't have as much acting experience as Eva, so pretending that the two of them are madly in love is a bit more difficult for him. I'm no behavior expert, but I am a mind reader and in these pictures, Tony is thinking, "The sooner I get done kissing her, the sooner I can get back to eating my bacon and eggs."

So, this was the birthday party to which all of Victoria Beckham's friends were invited. She had an intimate dinner last week at Eva Longoria's restaurant Beso, and guests included the Desperate Housewives actress along with Kate Beckinsale and her husband. Before that, Posh enjoyed a casual day out with the family at Pink Taco.

Sunday night, a slew of famous guests showed up for dinner at Via Veneto Eva Longoria, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Kate Beckinsale and her husband, and wait a minute, are my eyes deceiving me? Is that Sean Combs and Kim Porter? Are these two back on again? Interesting. I guess passion comes and goes, but diamonds are forever.

I could be wrong, but it looks like the guests were instructed to wear black and white and it looks like Katie is the only one brave enough to sport a bright color, showing up in a gold mini-dress. She may have just received her last invite because of it. Ha!

"I pretty much only eat things with a caloric value that is equal to or less than the total number of fingers on my hand," Victoria told her new best buddy, Kate Beckinsale, who was both fascinated and flattered that Vicky was finally revealing her coveted diet secrets.

This imaginary conversation took place between the two ladies at a dinner to celebrate Victoria's upcoming 34th birthday. Also along for the evening were their husbands, as well as Eva Longoria. The gang hit up Eva's Hollywood restaurant Beso for the occasion.

Conspicuously absent from the soiree was celebrity power couple, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, even though Katie and Victoria have allegedly airkissed and made up. But can you really blame Vicky? Sometimes you need a night out without having to talk about aliens, spaceships and unicorns. It's get exhausting after a while.
