Mark Hoppus Shaves Off Pete Wentz's Trademark Locks

A live performance of Fall Out Boy was apparently the perfect time for Pete Wentz to receive a haircut from Blink 182's Mark Hoppus.

Declaring the buzz cut to be the "death of the Emo haircut," Wentz sat down with a red Dixie cup and patiently waited while Hoppus shaved off his signature black, flat-ironed hairdo while his bandmates continued performing.

Freshly shorn, Wentz posted on his Twitter account, "I am more aerodynamic." Speaking of aerodynamic, where was I when FOB's Patrick Stump lost all that weight?

Pete Wentz Keeps His Hairs Well-Styled

If you thought that Pete Wentz's trademark black shellacked points just sort of happened, then you are sorely mistaken, my friend.

The Fall Out Boy musician logs in lots of time in front of the mirror at home and out at the hair salon--as seen here at the Cottage Hair Studio in Beverly Hills--to attain his hair's shiny, plastic sheen. Don't look if you don't want to see the whole behind-the-scenes business of how Pete keeps himself so perfectly primped. It will demystify the whole process for you.

Meanwhile, it's not all hair gel and flat-irons for Mr. Wentz. He's also got the food pyramid on the brain. Pete has teamed up with General Mills to launch Clandestine Crunch, a line of designer t-shirts/cereal combos featuring the characters Barely Awake, Choco-Bot and Space Monkey. All part of a balanced breakfast, of course.

Insomniac Pete Wentz Celebrates Angels & Kings Anniversary

Believe it or not, it's been two whole year since Pete Wentz and his business partners first opened the doors of their NYC watering hole Angels & Kings. Pete did it up right on the anniversary of that fateful day with some cake and drinks.

With a baby son and his international musical career to tend to, it's surprising that the Fall Out Boy musician would have time for a bar. Also, there's the matter of having to maintain those perfectly straight, jet-black locks.

Wentz confessed his secret to success, "I sleep about three hours a night--that's probably part of it. The other part is you just surround yourself with really intelligent people and take all the credit." Duly noted.

Pete Wentz Talks Invisible Children

Providing a guest blog for the Huffington Post, skinny-jeans-loving rocker Pete Wentz took the opportunity to promote the upcoming Invisible Children benefit RESCUE all over the world.

Wentz explained, "On April 25th, Invisible Children is staging an event entitled the RESCUE, in 100 cities across 10 countries worldwide. Thousands of people are going to symbolically 'abduct' themselves and stand in solidarity with all the abducted children forced to fight as soldiers."

The Fall Out Boy musician will be in Washington D.C. for the event, in which each group will be symbolically "rescued" by a notable figure from the participating city. The event is being done to raise awareness for the situation of child soldiers in Africa.

Audrina Patridge & Pete Wentz Prep For 2009 MTV Australia Awards

These two individuals owe their careers to MTV, so it only makes sense that Audrina Patridge and Pete Wentz would lend their hosting services to the MTV Australia Awards.

Aww, aren't they cute at a photocall for the event? You know these two have shared a box of hair dye or two. And of course, the pressure is on for Audrina to actually DO something since she now has her own show.

As for Pete, he can't act like he's having too much fun here cause of problems with the missus.

Pete Wentz Making Music For Kids, Bipolarism Under Control

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz's little one, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, has provided much inspiration for his musical father. The Fall Out Boy bandmate claims that it's because of his son that he wants to record an album of childrens music.

Wentz said that his band's last album included a hidden track, a lullaby for his son. "We had so much fun doing it I'm going to put out an album of songs for children," the musician admitted.

In addition to being his muse, Pete's son has also helped his dad in dealing with his bipolar disorder. "With marriage and fatherhood, I've finally found two fixed points in my life," Wentz has said. That's good because Pete has a tendency to get stressed.

Pete Wentz Thinks You're Out To Get Him

The simple act of ordering pizza to be delivered to his home is an experience that can send Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz into a panic. The flat-iron-loving musician is convinced he will be murdered one day.

"That's the way I'm going out, I'm completely sure of it. So I refuse to answer the front door--it greatly minimizes that risk," the paranoid rocker told the Daily Mail. I know how he feels. That's why I have a butler for my one-bedroom apartment. Sure, I can't really afford it, but then again, I can't very well pay my rent if I'm dead, now can I?

Well, his fear of being killed makes me think that this is probably the reason he's stepped out with wife Ashlee Simpson to the Chateau Marmont dressed like a newsboy. He's probably reasoning, "Who would kill a newsboy? Right?"

Pete Wentz At MTV Australia Awards

Acting as special guest for the evening's festivities, Pete Wentz showed up on the red carpet for the MTV Australia Awards in Sydney with a big smile on his face.

Headlining the event are The Killers and quite frankly, except for the best dance video category, all the major contenders pretty closely resemble the usual suspects from the American version of the awards.

As for Pete, he recalled anecdotes that were told to him by his wife Ashlee Simpson, who hosted the gig back in 2005. "She told me she was on stage with men in Speedos, but that was in a drunken rage so I'm not sure if that happened or not."

Jealous, Pete? And if so, of whom? I kid! I kid because I'm a bitter, bitter woman.

NFL Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Concert

Performing on-stage at the NFL Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Concert were Fall Out Boy, backbend-loving Rihanna and Lifehouse (Or is it Lifeboat? I can't even remember...) and Jerry O'Connell stepping up to take on hosting duties.

Kim Kardashian was there, looking all kinds of shiny black and...that wig looks familiar. OK, maybe it's her real hair, but familiar nonetheless. Oh yes, but back to shiny black--Ri-Ri sure loves her leather, doesn't she? Any excuse to whip out the fishnets and the cow-hide pantaloons.

Let's play some Super Bowl! Do some touchdowns and give some tackles!

Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz Enjoy Pure New Year's Eve Fun

How on Earth would us mere mortals know how to ring in the new year if there weren't celebrities hosting parties to do so? The answer is that we wouldn't. We would simply shrivel up and die.

Thankfully, the Jonas brothers, Kathy Griffin and such set aside time from their busy schedules to do so. Additionally, new parents Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz headed up the event at Pure night club inside the Caesars Palace Resort Hotel Casino. Still sporting some serious pregnancy boobies, Ashlee also flaunted her newly reverted blond locks to the event.

Meanwhile, the Kardashian family, (including Khloe, Kourtney, Rob and Kim Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner) and squeezed into their favorite spangly dresses, slapped on some bronzer and showed up to celebrate. I've noticed from my studies of their pack that they seem to prefer to travel in a herd. It's a shame they don't eat their young. Also, the ones with the largest asses seem to be the most dominant members.
