Spice Girls Musical In The Works




What producers want, what they what they really, really want is to find five girls to portray Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Victoria Beckham and Melanie Chisholm on stage in a musical production about the British pop group.

Backers of what is being billed as a two-hour "pop extravaganza" are banking on the success of last year's reunion tour of the 90s pop stars executed a few years ago.

A snitch dishes to The Sun, "The project is Geri's baby really but all the girls are backing it. The idea is for five relatively unknown actresses to take the parts and hopefully the girls will each have a say in who is cast."

Casting suggestions, anyone?

SNAPPED: Spice Girls Reunite Without Victoria Beckham




She only was missing out on a dinner though.

Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton joined Geri Halliwell over dinner at the Palm restaurant in London's Knightsbridge before heading to Mayfair Hotel for cocktails.

But there was one noticeable absence from the party, Victoria Beckham. This was because Vicky is in the United States. She had a triumphant visit to New York Fashion Week, where she unveiled her DVB spring/summer 2010 collection.

Enjoying what seems to be the celebrity hot spot this summer, former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell hit the beaches of Saint Tropez. She splashed around in the ocean before taking a stroll on the beach where she seemed quite amused by the sights to be seen compliments of the clothing optional standards.

Geri Halliwell Engaged To Fabrizio Politi




The whirlwind romance between Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and Fabrizio Politi is heating up! The couple, recently spotted getting all kinds of comfy cozy together on vacation, have announced their engagement.

Politi proposed to Halliwell over the holidays, according to a statement released by her management company. "As a token of their commitment to each other, Fabrizio presented Geri with an engagement ring over the festive season," the report reads.

This move comes about a month into their relationship, which initially started when the two met at a club in Florence in December.

Kirsten Dunst And Josh Hartnett Back On? - News Bites




- It looks like Kirsten Dunst and Josh Hartnett may be back on. They were linked to each other last year, but then cooled things off. According to a Page Six spy who saw them at Blue Ribbon Sushi on Sullivan Street Thursday night. "They were whispering and smiling at each other," said the onlooker. "At times it looked like she wanted to grab his hand, but stopped. She was especially smitten with him." Much luck.

- Prince Harry has broken up with his girlfriend Chelsy Davy after she decided that she could no longer cope with the pressures of his military career. How did the world find out? The silly girl updated her Facebook status to read: 'Relationship: Not in one.' Much luck.

- Spice Girl Geri Halliwell has a new man in her life, and she's letting him hang with her daughter Bluebell Madonna. Her new boyfriend Fabrizio Politi bonded with her daughter, as he carried her through the streets of London. Despite only dating since last month, it appears Halliwell, 36, and Politi, 34, are already growing quite serious. Much luck.

Geri Halliwell & Fabrizio Politi Get Busy On The Beach



On vacation in the sunny Maldives Islands, Geri Halliwell and her Italian boyfriend Fabrizio Politi certainly didn't let fellow beachcombers get in the way of their very public displays of affection.

Ginger Spice, who is barely visible underneath Politi's eager-to-please body, definitely looks like she's enjoying her time off spent getting off. Good for her! He better work.

Cheeky Geri Halliwell Shows Off Red Hot Booty




At a kids awards show, British pop star Geri Halliwell--formerly known as Ginger Spice--turned up in a ruffly red dress and sported cascading auburn curls, a far cry from her trademark leather go-go boots and short shorts of her Spice Girls hey day.

However, a hint from the singer's sassy past was evident as the hint of her curvaceous bottom was just barely visible underneath the layers of scarlet chiffon.

However, this subtle peek at Geri's rear probably did little to arouse any interest from the impressionable youth in attendance at the event. These days, anything less than flipping up your skirt to reveal no panties barely gets a raise of the eyebrows.

Victoria Beckham's Feet Trapped In Gilded Cages




Taking her passion for fashion one step too far, Victoria Beckham stepped out for dinner with her husband David Beckham wearing some intense footwear. The newly-cropped fashionista showed off a complicated-looking pair of gold high heels, complete with spikes around her ankles.

The jeans saleswoman met up with her Spice Girls cohort Geri Halliwell and Little Britian star David Williams at the J Sheekey seafood restaurant briefly on their night out.

But taking one look at her feet makes me realize that I know why the caged feet sing. Because they are in extreme pain.
