Heroes star and ardent animal rights activist, Hayden Panettiere looked even more energetic than usual on the red carpet at The Whaleman Foundation in Hollywood, which she hosted. The 20-year-old actress was probably excited to show off her new hairstyle, which included a darker shade of blonde and some new bangs.
Supporting his big sis, Jansen Panettiere, was also at the event with a very blond, very tan young friend. Additionally, Hayden's Heroes co-star, Jimmy Jean-Louis, was there to lend his the on-screen cheerleader and the organization itself.
But don't be fooled by Hayden looking all glam on the red carpet for the event. She's got no problem putting on a wet suit and paddling out into the thick of things, if the situation calls for it.

Who said video games were just for nerds? Well actually, that was probably me....until last night anyway.
It doesn't take much to draw young Hollywood to a party, especially when an open bar is involved...Stephanie Pratt...cough...But when Ubisoft launched their Assassin's Creed II video game at the Voyeur club in West Hollywood, even The Hills girls were in the mood to party geek-squad style. And who can blame them when Glee cutie, Corey Monteith and Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough were in attendance?
But let's not start any rumors today. Lauren Conrad arrived separately from boyfriend, Kyle Howard, and spent the majority of the night canoodling in a VIP booth where Lauren Bosworth, Frankie Delgado, Rob Kardashian and Scott Disick all made appearances. Um, excuse me Scott...is it appropriate to leave your 8-month-pregnant baby momma at home while you play socialite with Kourtney Kardashian's little brother? Doubtful.
Thankfully, cooler people than Scott turned up looking fabulous on the red carpet including Kristen Bell (who technically was the host of the event but never made it inside the party), Gossip Girl Jessica Szohr, DWTS Edyta Sliwinska and Louie Vito, Entourage's Rex Lee, The Office's Craig Robinson and everyone's favorite DUI survivor, Stephanie Pratt.
Much to my fashion snobbery dismay, most of the Hills girls were clueless when it came to revealing which designer they were wearing, but somehow managed to name drop Topshop, Prada, French Connection and Yves St. Laurent. Must be nice having so much designer wear that you confuse one label for another. Ah, one day...
And although I missed the newest episode of Glee to attend the event, I did get a status report from Corey Monteith himself when he explained he didn't have a girlfriend, prefers LA weather over Canadian weather (duh!) and would include Billy Joel as his top choice for which artist to cover for a future episode of Glee. If you're already thinking of being his personal tiny dancer...get in line ladies.

When it was announced that Gilles Marini was joining the cast of Brothers and Sisters, it was pretty obvious how the show was going to use him.
Well, the beefcake was up front and center last night in two scenes. One scene was with Rachel Griffiths (oh how I envy her) in bed with Gilles, and the other was a pool scene in which several characters, male and female, check out his goods.
It was a treat for everyone.

OK, so here's to hoping that Pamela Anderson was simply attending the 6th Annual Hollywood Life Style Awards and not being recognized for her fashion choices over the past year. The blond pinup showed up to the event in what looks like a giant, light-pink satin sheet that was attacked by a gang of alley cats.
Other starlets in attendance opted for a more classic look. Heroes stars, Hayden Panettiere and Zachary Quinto were appropriately stylish with the on-screen cheerleader donning a fetching lavender mini dress and the Star Trek star looking dapper in an all-black suit and blue tie.
Kim Kardashian showed of her curvaceous figure in a clingy, white dress. In a black, 80s-retro mini-dress, Disney Channel star, Selena Gomez looked polished and pretty. Katie Cassidy from Melrose Place looked regal in her up-swept hairdo.

The fourth season of Brothers & Sisters debuts tonight on ABC. With the departure of Balthazar Getty last season, who sticks out like a sore thumb in the photos from the party, the needed to add a little spice to the cast.
They did so with the talk drink of water that is Gilles Marini. He's reportedly set to romance Rachel Griffiths' character Sarah this season. Welcome Gilles, I look forward to seeing your naked torso all season long!

A slew of elegantly dressed soap opera stars and daytime talk show hosts hit the red carpet for this year's Daytime Emmys, looking like they were ready for a long night of celebrating.
Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres showed off her trademark tomboyish style in a crisp white dress shirt, suspenders and black tuxedo pants while her partner, Portia de Rossi wore a midnight blue off-the-shoulder dress.
Tyra Banks kept it simple and elegant in a pair of neutral-toned heels and matching clutch, simple straight hair parted down the middle and a very flattering coral-colored, asymmetrical sheath dress. Girlfriend was on point.
But Brenda Dickson took the cake, with her flowing red locks, and body-hugging snakeskin dress. Her low-cut, black-lace plunging neckline says, "Welcome to my bosom!"

Tyra Banks has won herself yet another Emmy at this year's Daytime Emmy Awards, as well as Rachael Ray, who snagged the prize in the "entertainment" talk show category. Because our girl Ty-Ty likes to get all investigative reporter and shit, she won the category of "informative" talk show.
Queen of talk, Ellen DeGeneres, has won the award for best talk show host for the past four years, but was unseated from her throne by the ladies from The View, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Sherri Shepherd and Barbara Walters. Really?
Speaking of hosts, star of Ugly Betty, Vanessa Williams, took on hosting duties for the evening at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
Other awards went to The Bold and The Beautiful for best drama, best male lead to Christian LeBlanc for his role on The Young and the Restless and best female lead to Susan Haskell for her part on One Life To Live.

OK Sex and the City fans, take a deep breath to calm yourselves before you read the following. E! Online has confirmed that super sexy Frenchman Gilles Marini won't be returning as Samantha Jones' neighbor in the sequel to the Sex and the City movie.
I didn't even really enjoy the Sex and the City movie and I am saddened by this news. He's just so beautiful, how could they not want him again? He was always talking about how much he'd love to come back. Michael Patrick King, the writer and director of the film, sent him congratulatory text messages and even came to one of his performances during his stint on Dancing With the Stars.
During all that, Gilles was just trying to show off his sexiness so Michael would cast him again. He told E! about doing the paso doble shirtless with partner Cheryl Burke, "I said, 'Cheryl, I'm talking my shirt off. I want to show Michael I'm still in shape.' I know he is writing beautiful things lately, and maybe he could put me in one of his projects."
But don't feel too bad for Gilles. Currently the uber sexy French star is shooting a guest spot on Brothers & Sisters and will also show up on Nip/Tuck as the bad-boy husband of Vanessa Redgrave's character. By the way, for my birthday I would like someone to get me this. Since I won't be able to enjoy Gilles in the Sex and the City sequel, I feel like this is the next best thing.
