Cobra Starship fans got a special treat Tuesday night when Leighton Meester unexpectedly joined the band onstage at NYC's Nokia Theatre to sing the hit song "Good Girls Go Bad."

Gabe Saporta, Cobra Starship front man, had nothing but glowing reviews for the actress telling OK! "The girl can really sing. She's really f**king cool. And the thing is, we're kinda like bad boy rock dudes and she's a real-life celebrity. And like I don't give a f**k."

Saporta continued, "So sometimes those two worlds clash together and they don't mesh well. But with her it meshed perfectly. Like she was still very refined and very cool, but she has a sense of humor and jokes around us and has a great time."

It's great to see an actress crossover into the music industry so fluidly. Usually such an endeavor is an epic fail.

Leighton has a long road ahead of her if she wants to take the title of best actor/musician crossover of all time, which is currently held by Eddie Murphy. "Party All The Time" is a gift that keeps giving, a true gem from 1985.

23-year-old Gossip Girl star, Leighton Meester, has certainly been vamping it up lately. The actress recently posed for a sexy photoshoot with her TV co-star, Ed Westwick and now, she's seen here, stepping out at the American Eagle Outfitters' Time Square store grand opening in a revealing black leather dress.

This outfit--that looks to be barely more than some strategically-placed bits of leather--ensures that Leighton has definitely moved out of the shadow of her high-profile co-star, Blake Lively, whose love for revealing fashion is matched only by Meester's.

Leighton's GG co-star, Michelle Trachtenberg, was no slouch in her turquoise mini dress and shite jacket, showing off some serious stilettos on her feet. Meanwhile, Jessica Szohr seems to be the only member of the cast who wasn't immune to the cold, stepping out in a coat, jeans and sweater. I predict she'll be the only one not catching a cold this season.

Gossip Girl star, Leighton Meester, clearly knows her way around a photoshoot, as she recently demonstrated in a spread for Elle magazine that paired her with her co-star on the show, Ed Westwick.

But for GQ, this on-screen Manhattan socialite flew solo, in a racy photo shoot that had the pouty-lipped brunette striking some provocative poses in a some sexy, black lingerie. At one point, the CW vixen even spreads her legs for the camera with a serious "come hither" look on her face.

And come they shall.

In the episode of Gossip Girl that Lady GaGa is on, she is invited because Blair wants to impress the elitist theater kids at NYU with her private concert.

"I really sat down with the writers," she said. "I was like, 'Look, I want to do this, and the reason I want to do this is because I am trying to say something that is not mainstream in a mainstream capacity. So, if I can say it on your show, that would be, like, a real coup d'etat for me as a performance artist.' "

Lady GaGa will fall off ladders because the object is a monster symbol of bad luck. While doing that, she will be wearing 35 ft long red dress which is "very gothic-inspired".

Oh yes, it's just a quiet night at out the Balans restaurant in SoHo for the always demure Lady Gaga, who stepped out for the evening in a full-body black lace catsuit.

The singer's penchant for the dramatic is never more apparent than in her upcoming Gossip Girl guest spot, according to the pop star herself. Gaga tells MTV News, "I am the narrator behind what is going on with the characters and make the song part of the moment." She adds, "We used these ladders, and I'm falling off ladders. Ladders are kind of a monster symbol about bad luck. And I have this 35-foot-long dress on and these X's, very gothic-inspired."

Gaga claims she was heavily involved in the process of developing her guest role and adds, "They let me do whatever the hell I wanted. It was amazing." She's describing it as a "crazy performance-art piece."

Would we expect anything less?

Looking at these photos of sleek, sophisticated Blake Lively dressed in a gown fit for a queen, it's no surprise to find out that the Gossip Girl actress claims she grew up in Disneyland. She explains, "My mom would take me there twice a week. I did well in school, so I guess my mom just wanted to have some extra time to bond with me."

In fact, her first memory is filled with people dressed in Disney character costumes. Blake remembers, "Oh, geez, I remember I was about 3 years old, and I woke up--we were staying at Disneyland.I was in a little pink silk bed, and there were Mickey and Donald and Goofy looking down at me."

Wow. Sounds like a fun frat party.

It was a Gossip Girl Halloween miracle when Leighton Meester (hiding behind a huge flower in these photos) took to the stage to help Weezer sing their new single, "(If You're Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To." Watch the video by clicking the continue reading link below.

At a Halloween performance at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, aspiring pop star Meester joined lead singer, Rivers Cuomo in a duet. The band's frontman explained to MTV News how the collaboration came to fruition.

"We invited her down, and she was in rehearsal--wait, did she even come to rehearsal? No, she didn't!" Cuomo claimed. He added, "We just worked on it in the dressing room right before the show. 'You sing this line, now I'll sing that line,' just like that. It's best when there's a little rehearsal, so that it can still feel spontaneous."

Spontaneous or not, it's a brilliant cross-promotional move on both their parts. Well-played, kids.

The CW loves to add spice to its teen dramas with gay romance. First, Gossip Girl's Chuck Bass has a man-on-man kiss and now 90210 will begin a lesbian storyline. Come this January, Rumer Wills (Gia) and Jessica Lowndes (Adrianna) will enjoy a hot and heavy romance in the halls of West Beverly.

Executive Producer Rebecca Sinclair insists "This isn't a fling. We're coming at this [relationship] from a genuine place and not going, 'Let's do a titillating story that will grab some promotion.' This is a real aspect of teenager life that's interesting...And there's been a real void in the 90210 universe in terms of gay and bisexual characters."

Everything boils down to ratings in the world of Hollywood, regardless of 90210's "reason" for the lesbian relationship. Not that I'm complaining, I think the idea is great, though I doubt the true motivation is as noble as Sinclair would have us believe. I plan on keeping an eye on The CW. If Melrose Place and The Vampire Diaries suddenly implement a gay romance I'll know something fishy is going on.

Four members of the Gossip Girl cast were singled out by Glamour magazine on their list of "30 Sexiest Stars Under 30."

Blake Lively, Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester are the foursome being recognized for their general fabulousness, leaving other cast members out in the cold.

While it's too late for Matthew Settle, Taylor Momsen, Penn Badgley and Jessica Szohr have a few good years left to make the list. Get your sexy on, guys.

Golden girl, Blake Lively, rarely steps out of the house looking anything less than picture perfect. So it was a shock to see the Gossip Girl star revealing some tell-tale splotches on her chest when she bared her decolletage in a low-cut top at the 2009 Angel Ball. But then again, if that's her biggest flaw, the girl should count herself as lucky.

Her real-life boyfriend and Gossip Girl co-star, Penn Badgley, recently admitted to Men's Health that maintaining their romance has been a balancing act. The actor admits, "Having a relationship with someone you work with might not always be the smartest move. But it's been wonderful to be in a relationship where we can both identify with what the other is experiencing."

It seems that black was the color of choice for the evening with Bar Rafaeli and Jennifer Hudson also decked out in the most slimming of colors.
