Madonna Dishes To 'Rolling Stone' On Divorce, Kids & Bad Fashion




The Mistress of Pop, Madonna, has been opening up about the turmoil that took place these past couple of years in her personal life. Recently, the singer joked to David Letterman that she would rather be "run over by a train" than remarry.

In her interview with Rolling Stone, Madge is more diplomatic when describing her divorce from Guy Ritchie as "challenging." She adds, "I'm very grateful that I had work to do. I may have thrown myself off a building."

A little hyperbole aside, the star says that splitting custody of her kids has "been an adjustment." Madonna explains, "My sons aren't with me right now, they're with their father, and I'm not very comfortable with the idea of my children not living together."

Any other regrets? Maybe just a bad outfit from her early career. "It was the purple lipstick, fluorescent-green sweater combo...It's OK, it was the Eighties. It was a bad-hairstyle era. Let's face it." Hey, we've all been granted blanket amnesty for fashion crimes during that era.

British GQ Men Of The Year Awards Attract UK Hotties




There were some incredibly dangerous curves present at the annual British GQ Men of the Year Awards as displayed by such vivacious attendees as Kelly Brook, Eva Mendes and Liz Hurley walking the red carpet in their red carpet finery.

In fact, Kelly's waistline is so ridiculously narrow while her bosom is beyond bouncy that if I find out there's not some seriously constricting Spanx under that bright pink dress, I'm going to be extremely annoyed.

Liz Hurley is electric in a light blue sheath dress and matching eye shadow while Eva Mendes smolders in a deep purple, floor-length dress and impeccable natural-looking make-up.

Meanwhile, young ones, Kelly Osbourne and Lily Allen opted for simple black frocks for the event. They weren't the only ones--Yoko Ono also donned the color, but with a decidedly more playful look that includes a white scarf, top hat and sunglasses.

Boys were there too, with Mickey Rourke sporting his trademark shiny suit, scarf and lots of make-up, God bless him. Also, Guy Ritchie is single and ready to mingle, ladies.

Brad Pitt Not Ruining Sherlock Holmes




Whoa, that was a close call people. London's Daily Mirror reported that Brad Pitt was set to join the cast of Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes, but Us Weekly has debunked the rumor.

According to the rumor, Brad was set to arrive in London this week and shoot scenes as Sherlock Holmes nemesis Moriarty. The original report said the Guy decided to add Brad after seeing first cut of the film.

All of this is completely false though, which kinda makes me happy. The studio told Us, "The report in today's London Mirror is completely inaccurate. Brad Pitt is not joining the cast of Sherlock Holmes and we're extremely pleased with the production of the film. As planned, it will be released on Christmas Day, 2009. In order to complete the movie, we've scheduled a few days on set to shoot a couple of additional scenes, obtain pick-up shots, and perfect some of the visual effects elements, all of which is standard filmmaking practice."

Maybe they decided not to use him for fear that he would roll some perfect joints and Robert Downey Jr. wouldn't be able to contain himself. That would just not be good for the film, now would it? I'm quite happy he's not going to be in the movie. I feel like he wouldn't have made it work at this stage in his career. Maybe like ten years ago, I could totally see him in something like this, but not right now.

Know what I can see him as? Mayor of New Orleans. He needs to not be all "oh no being the mayor isn't for me" and get off his ass and run. But can someone tell him to shave the goatee? I'm just utterly upset by it. Thank you.

'Sherlock Holmes' Will Be Amazing!




I would personally like to thank the person that decided to make a film with Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, and Rachel McAdams that is directed by Guy Ritchie. I guess the person I should be thanking is the producer of the film Sherlock Holmes, which has all of that!

The producer, Robert's wife Susan Downey, tells Starpulse, "[Guy Ritchie] did an amazing job, on a scale that no one's seen him work on before. He delivered. I think it's going to surprise people." Surprise me! I'm so ready to be surprised.

Guy Ritchie is mostly known in America for his violence and camera work in films like Snatch and RocknRolla, as well as his marriage to Madonna. That was a fun marriage while it lasted. Susan also says, "You'll see the flare and you'll see Guy's touch on it, but it's a whole different canvas."

Warner Brothers is getting ready to show some never before seen footage at San Diego's Comic Con this week, with Guy, Robert, and the rest of the cast there for a panel discussion. The film opens this Christmas, so I think we all know what Santa is bringing for the world! A sequel!

Justin Timberlake To Star In Guy Ritchie's 'Guys and Dolls?'




Song-and-dance man Justin Timberlake was recently seen meeting up with director Guy Ritchie for what we thought was simply a rowdy boys night out. But it seems these two were mixing business with pleasure, as Guy has his heart set on having Justin star in an upcoming film project.

The Sherlock Holmes director is looking to pair up with Justin for his film version of Guys and Dolls, as well as a remake of the war flick, Wild Geese. Ritchie was impressed with Timberlake's performance in Alpha Dog and is hoping the pop star's popularity will bring fans to the box office.

In addition, the two seem to get along on a personal level. "[Guy] likes [Timberlake's] personality. Justin would be ideal for Guys and Dolls because he can act, dance and sing," a source dished to The Sun.

Well, although Guy didn't have nearly as much success the last time he tried to build a movie around a pop star (*ahem* Madonna), at least Justin's clearly got the moves and the comedic timing.

Justin Timberlake Parties It Up With Guy Ritchie




Justin Timberlake was a busy man yesterday. First he showed of the new William Rast collection, and then he went out for a night of drunkenness with Guy Ritchie.

The two hit Guy's London pub, the Punchbowl, for a private party at 11:30pm. God only knows how many pints those two had in there. At the party, they were joined by socialite Diana Jenkins, sans her husband Roger Jenkins, and after she left around 1am, Justin was seen at her house ten minutes later, sans Jessica Biel. Although Justin did eventually call it a night and head back to his hotel around 2:30am. Wonder if Jessica was ok with that?

Guy Ritchie on the other hand spend the rest of the night boozing it up and even treated the pub to some banjo performances. As long as it wasn't the theme to Deliverance, I think we're all ok.

Madonna And Mercy James: The First Photos




Madonna took newly adopted daughter Mercy James to Kabbalah in London, but she wasn't alone. She was joined by her children David Banda, Rocco Richie and Lourdes Leon along with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie. 

You know I have to say that I'm impressed with Madonna and Guy Richie. Other than some initial harsh words towards one another during their relatively quick divorce, the two have really stepped it up for their kids. Nice going.

Madonna is reportedly planning a holiday trip to Jerusalem to introduce her newly adopted daughter Mercy James to Jewish mysticism Kabbalah.

"Madonna wants to give Mercy enough time to settle in to her new home. By September she feels she will be ready to take the trip without danger of upheaval," The Sun quoted a source as saying.

"The Wailing Wall is a very sacred place for anyone with links to the Jewish faith and she wants all the children to see it," the source added.

Guy Ritchie's Romantic Walk On The Beach With Unidentified Woman




An even greater mystery than the one in Guy Ritchie's film Sherlock Holmes is the identity of the brunette with whom the director was spotted walking along the beach.

While his ex-wife Madonna has been cavorting with her young Brazilian boyfriend Jesus Luz for quite some time, Guy has remained tight-lipped about his love life, having engaged in rumored encounters with Jemima Khan and Elle Macpherson.

And now, he's found a new female companion. The couple grabbed a bite to eat at the Marmalade cafe before taking their stroll along the beach in Malibu. Interesting. I'm sure we'll find out who she is soon enough. By then, they might be dunzo, though.
