It's a pet cause near and dear to Halle Berry's heart to raise awareness about domestic violence. The actress hosted An Evening of Awareness to benefit the Jenesse Center and the the Trevor Project with photographer, Mark Lidell, looking stunning in a simple black dress, leather jacket and that short hair we love so much.

In an interview with the NBC Nightly News, Berry confesses, "My mother was a battered woman and that was my childhood for a good chunk of it." She goes on to explain, "Early on in my life, I made choices, and I chose men that were abusive because that was what I knew growing up."

As a result, Halle has now focused on helping those affected by the issue and was recently honored by the Jenesse Center for her efforts. Berry says, "I care, I really care about these women and children."

Other attendees who made an appearance at the event include Style editor, Bobbie Thomas, Gossip Girl star, Kelly Rutherford, and journalist Natalie Morales.

And who wouldn't?  Babies are totally cute and never yell at you for not washing the dishes (I was busy, dammit!).  Oh right, babies.

Many beautiful celebrities turned up for the March of Dimes Celebration of Babies luncheon yesterday to recognize celebrity breeders and honoring those helping March of Dimes to keep all babies healthy.

As you can see, preeminent sexy-lady, Halle Berry was there looking, well, sexy.  Sadly, her daughter Nahla wasn't in attendance, who is seriously cuter than puppies wearing bunny costumes (is there anything cuter than that?).

Nicole Richie, one of the events planners, was also there, and I just have to say that homegirl has put on some weight and she looks great!  This is the first time in recent history that she doesn't look like Jack Skellington.  Work it, girl!

Other famous types in attendance were Nicole Sullivan, Kelli Martin, Elizabeth Rohm, and Julie Bowden.

For the record, Halle Berry is not pregnant with a baby or a burger baby. It seems she may have totally lost that burger baby for good.

The actress looked stunning at the 6th Annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball in New York City last night. Boyfriend Gabriel Aubry was on hand to accompany Halle in all her sparkled cut-out deliciousness.

Halle Berry took her adorable daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry to visit a few friends in the San Fernando Valley, California yesterday. Nahla looked a little groggy prior to arriving, but gave a full on smile as she was leaving.

Halle Berry who recently debunked pregnancy rumors by stating that she's put on a little weight from eating too many burgers. So Halle wants that burger baby gone!

What better way to get rid of a little excess is to have a cleansing. That's just what Halle did. She's seen here leaving a private residence where she goes for a routine colon cleansing. Apparently it cleans out all the nooks and crannies.

It would have been much more glamorous if she was really pregnant.

Apparently this is what Halle Berry wears when she's burger bloated. The always beautiful Halle Berry leaves Auntie Barbara's Kids in Beverly Hills where she shopped for daughter Nahla Aubry, and gracefully kept her temperament with paparazzi despite the recent insinuations of another pregnancy, which Berry has refuted.

Showing off her svelte figure in a revealing, black mini-dress and thigh-high black leather boots, Halle Berry proclaimed to Jay Leno in that she definitely is not pregnant.

When the talk show host commented on how well Berry looked, she thanked him and added, "That must mean that pregnancy rumors can be put to bed!"

The Oscar winner has made no secret of her desire to have a large brood, telling People magazine in February that her daughter, Nahla Aubry, "needs a sibling" and that she "believes in families," Halle's claiming she's not yet preggo with her second child.

Berry told Jay with a laugh, "I've got to stop with the burgers or something!" Burger babies? Why not? Stranger things have happened.

At this point, I have absolutely no idea what Halle Berry does at this private home she visits. Some say it's a therapist, some say it's a friend and now some are saying that's where she gets her colon cleansed.

Well, whatever she does there she looks hot while doing it. Halle may or may not be pregnant at the moment, but the loose fitting dress she's wearing could totally be covering something! Or she could just like loose fitting clothes.
