Anna Nicole's bodyguard Big Moe (is that a given name?) is talking to the cops in Florida . Howard K. Stern is being painted as sinister. I don't see how they reach that conclusion. I know he's holding a baby hostage in a Bahamian mansion and refusing to take a paternity test, but who hasn't done that? I'm writing from my veranda in the Bahamas right now. I have no clue where the baby is. Shit, it's high tide!

We're told the cops went to Big Moe's house this morning in Pembroke Pines, Fla., because they had questions about the security camera video at the hotel where Smith died. Sources say Big Moe told the cops Anna was on "heavy doses" of prescription drugs that day, including flu medicine and antibiotics. Sources say Moe also told cops that in the months leading up to Smith's death, Howard K. Stern gave her "some types of drugs," though he didn't specifically know which. As he put it, "Anna was in a cloud."

And there's this: Although Moe has not told cops about this, he privately says that Howard K. Stern had certain patterns of conduct when it came to Anna Nicole, and that pattern changed the day she died. We're told it has to do with how Howard would constantly check up on Anna, but he went MIA during the critical time before her death, and Moe says that was "highly strange."

"Highly strange". MURDERER! He was probably out banging some other broad. You know Anna wasn't giving it up to him. Which is why there's no way he sired her kid. She thought he was creepy, didn't she? And it must have hurt for him because apparently she was tagging the butcher, the baker and the guy who brought the spring water. And not him. When you can't even get it off a scag, that's an ego wound. Maybe he did kill her. I kick Jessica Fletcher's ass!

God, what a boll weevil this man is. Howard K. Stern admitted on the stand yesterday that Anna Nicole paid for everything .

Under grilling from lawyers and Judge Seidlin, Stern admitted that Smith paid the $950 rent on his apartment, and that she gave him cash to buy personal items such as shoes.

But wasn't he her "lawyer"? Couldn't he have billed for that? Shoes? You let your woman buy you shoes? I mean, I've been a kept man before, but at least I got a cover job down at the Dairy Queen so no one could say anything. And I pretended that I was able to afford my Coach flip-flops because I was slaving away over the crunch coat and making bitches the perfect Blizzard. Now, you're up on the stand admitting to everyone that some high bitch kept you as a flunkie and made you her man-servant and bought you a pair of Payless once in awhile to give you the impression you were earning your keep. Good lord, you define "sniveling".

Last night on FOX News Channel, a bizarre video of Anna Nicole Smith aired on Greta Van Susteren's show. Smith, whose face is covered in strange, clown-like make-up, was filmed by Howard K. Stern and appears heavily sedated as she struggles to hold a conversation with her lawyer/boyfriend behind the camera. She is eight months pregnant in the video and at one point, coos in a baby-talk voice over a doll in a baby carriage while Stern attempts to tease her with by asking the following question over and over.

"Is this a mushroom trip?"

After it finally becomes apparent to Stern that Anna is in no state to comprehend his little "joke," he finally relents with, "I'm kidding."

In a different segment of the video, Stern makes the offhanded observation on-camera that:

"This footage is worth money."

I think the most disturbing thing about this whole video is that it makes it look like Anna was a fan of the "Insane Clown Posse" and that would just be embarrassing.

This is gonna go on for a long, long time. Virgie Arthur is currently in the Bahamas trying to find out how to wrest the baby away from Capt. Crocodile Tears . Seriously, did you see that interview he sold for a boatload of money which I assume isn't going for Danielynn's college fund? I kept waiting for him to bust out laughing and screaming "Suckaz!"

Anna Nicole Smith's mother Virgie Arthur is urgently seeking momentary custody of her daughter's baby, as she fears the tot could be next in the family tragedy.

The former police officer arrived in the Bahamas and met with local police officials and social service workers in a bid to gather information which she hoped would speed up the process as she fights to become five-month-old Dannielynn's protector.

TMZ has obtained photos of the contents of Anna Nicole's refrigerator. The mini-fridge, which Anna kept inside her bedroom in the Bahamas, held Methadone and Slimfast. Yikes.

Several bottles of TRIMSPA sat right next to the fridge. The fridge also contained Miracle 2000 (marketed as a nutritional supplement for "today's active lifestyle"), French's Worcestershire Sauce, yogurt and spray butter. It also appears there are vials used for injectable medicine.

And at this point, I'm wondering what level of toxicity the really old lettuce and pasta sauce in my refrigerator have and am realizing that I should probably clean it out, lest those items inadvertently incriminate me later, but I digress...

Also, over the weekend, Howard K. Stern took up residence back at the mansion in the Bahamas, where Anna Nicole Smith had been residing during her time there. If this mansion sounds at all familiar to you, it's because it's been the subject of a legal battle between Anna Nicole and her ex-boyfriend, G. Ben Thompson. Smith claimed the house was a gift to her, but Thompson maintains that it was simply a loaner. Thompson had changed the locks while Anna was away, and upon his return, Stern changed them again.

Additionally, the Associated Press reports that Anna's daughter, Dannielynn was at the home, and that Anna's mother, Vergie Arthur, was also seen going into the house. According to Stern's rep, Ron Rale:

"Right now, Howard is very happy to be reunited with Dannielynn but extremely angry that somebody had the gall to break into Anna's residence."

Thank God it's not possible to "change the locks" on a baby. What do I mean by that? I have no idea.

People Magazine tells the story of the non-legally binding "wedding" of Anna Nicole Smith and lawyer, Howard K. Stern:

In the early morning hours of Sept. 28 Anna Nicole Smith, her lawyer and confidant Howard K. Stern and a nanny clutching Smith's 3-week-old daughter Dannielynn Hope slipped aboard the 41-ft. catamaran Margaritaville and pushed out to sea off the coast of the Bahamas' Paradise Island. But this was no ordinary pleasure cruise. Later that day a Baptist minister and some of the couple's close friends were ferried to a nearby island called Sandy Cay, where they met up with Smith, 38, and Stern, 37, before setting sail again on the catamaran. At around 3 p.m., Stern, in a black dress suit and white shirt, and Smith, holding a bouquet of red roses, exchanged vows and Bible verses - as well as temporary rings, because the real ones weren't yet ready. After the ceremony "we all cheered and Anna wanted to jump into the ocean," says John James, Smith's friend and the former Dynasty actor. "But there were sharks out there, so we sped back to (Sandy Cay), and then Anna and Howard jumped in."

Let's just hope this is the beginning of more happy news for Anna and her family. Because all this depressing tragedy stuff is a bummer to try and make fun of.

Howard K. Stern, Anna Nicole Smith's long-time lawyer, has revealed that he is the father of her newborn daughter. Having had watched a number of episodes of her reality show, I do believe that their interaction didn't always seem to fall into the standard "lawyer/client" relationship.

According to Stern, "We love each other and this has been going on for a very long time but because of my relationship as her lawyer, we felt it was best to keep everything hidden. We've done a pretty good job of that."

However, with Anna pretty actively and openly dating other people in the past, I tend to think maybe Howard's doing some wishful albeit well-intentioned thinking.

Howard also added, "I've loved her for quite some time and hopefully the feeling's mutual."
