'Twilight' Star Kellan Lutz Really Shines In 'Eclipse'

Don't get Kellan Lutz wrong--he had a great time shooting the The Twilight Saga: New Moon. He just had even more fun during Eclipse.

Earlier, Kellan explained that the third Twilight installment is more action-packed. And now, he's revealed that he had more opportunities to show off his humorous side as the tough-but-playful Emmett Cullen.

Lutz explains, "I actually have great scenes with Kristen [Stewart], and it's really fun making her laugh, because that's what my character does. I make her laugh when I'm not supposed to, and we end up having to reshoot the scene." Oh those Twilight kids are so playful.

'Twilight' Stars Do Talk Shows: Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner

As part of the promotional tour of the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner hit up the talk show circuit.

Kristen chatted with Conan O'Brien, wearing a sexy, black and white mini-dress. She admitted that she thought the Italian Twilight fans were the most "passionate" and said that she had to be physically carried out of a book store at an event there once.

As for her co-star, Taylor showed up in a light gray suit and stripey skinny tie to chat with talk show host, Jay Leno. He confessed that the best place to hang out in Vancouver undercover from fans was the senior citizens' bowling center.

In preparation for showing an exclusive clip of New Moon, Taylor tossed the football with retired NFL star, Jerry Rice. Taylor did not disappoint, launching a perfectly-aimed pass to Jerry, much to the excitement of the crowd. Nicely done, Tay-Tay!

Mariah Carey Makes An Imperfect Entrance On Jay Leno's Talk Show

Always one to make a grand entrance, Mariah Carey certainly did not disappoint when she appeared on Jay Leno's talk show the other night to promote her film, Precious, as well as a new fragrance.

The notoriously glamorous singer lost her footing when stepping out to take a seat, but caught herself before she could really take a tumble. Joking about her misstep, Mariah told the audience, "You know when I tripped, I had choreographed that earlier." She added, "It was a plan to make Jay nervous that maybe he was going to get sued."



Jokes aside, Mimi explained that a strap had come loose on her trademark sky-high stilettos. But, as we all know, the real culprit was that massive cleavage of hers. I would spend my entire life on my face if I had to lug those things around, as lovely as they may be.

Zachary Quinto Celebrates L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's 38 Years [PHOTO GALLERY]

The three funny ladies that headlined the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center 38th Anniversary Gala at the Hyatt Regency Century Hotel in Los Angeles had the crowd in stitches Saturday night.

Heroes star Zachary Quinto presented Coco Peru aka Clinton Leupp the Board of Directors Award, Jay Leno presented Wanda Sykes the Distinguished Achievement Award while Chelsea Handler served at the evening's hostess.

Glee fans were given a treat with Amber Riley performing for the crowd.

Bill Maher Wants Polanski To Do Real Time

Bill Maher ain't shy, and to know his humor is not necessarily to love it.  Beware to those at the lashing end of his comedic whip, which is equal parts harsh, funny, and all-too-often true.  Maher is famous (or shall we say infamous) for the raw opinions he vents weekly on his HBO series, Real Time With Bill Maher, of note was his recent grilling of Director, Roman Polanski.

Unlike many stars in Hollywood who have rallied and petitioned in support of Roman Polanski, few outspoken celebrities have taken an outward stance against him.  Maher is decidely and quite publically against Polanski who is currently holed up in Switzerland whilst his fate looms ahead.

"I don't understand why Hollywood defends somebody like that... Why people I respect, like Martin Scorsese and Harvey Weinstein and Whoopi Goldberg . . . How can these people not see something so black and white? You cannot give a 13-year-old girl drugs and [bleep] her in the [bleep] . . ."  Delicately put.

No one is arguing that Polanski isn't a gifted filmmaker, a visionary, a true talent within his field, BUT COME ON!  To stand in support of him in this case is essentially standing in support of, well, as Chris Rock put it to Jay Leno, "Rape. It's rape! Rape is No. 2. It's murder, then rape..." He also pointed out to Leno, ""...we want to capture Osama Bin Laden, and murder him. We don't want to rape him - that would be barbaric."  Ummm, yeah.
 
Why it's taking A-list jokesters such as Maher and Rock to bring the rest of Tinseltown up to moral par reflects the sad fact that Hollywood's moral standard is sometimes completely wiggity-whack.

Red Sox Fan Jennifer Garner Premieres 'The Invention Of Lying'

While there may be rumors that her marriage with Ben Affleck is on the rocks, Jennifer Garner recently proved that if the chatter is true, it's certainly not because she doesn't share her husband's passion for the Boston Red Sox.

The actress went on The Jay Leno Show on Monday to promote her new film, The Invention of Lying, and the talk show host proceeded to tease the actress about her husband's passion for his hometown baseball team.

During the course of her interview, Jay Leno quizzed Garner about the team's starting lineup and she passed with flying colors. Check out the video after the jump.

On the red carpet for the premiere of the film, Jennifer showed off a toned physique in a black, flower print mini-dress and black heels, flanked by by co-stars Ricky Gervais, Rob Lowe and Louis C.K.

Halle Berry Blames Belly On Burgers, Denies Pregnancy

Showing off her svelte figure in a revealing, black mini-dress and thigh-high black leather boots, Halle Berry proclaimed to Jay Leno in that she definitely is not pregnant.

When the talk show host commented on how well Berry looked, she thanked him and added, "That must mean that pregnancy rumors can be put to bed!"

The Oscar winner has made no secret of her desire to have a large brood, telling People magazine in February that her daughter, Nahla Aubry, "needs a sibling" and that she "believes in families," Halle's claiming she's not yet preggo with her second child.

Berry told Jay with a laugh, "I've got to stop with the burgers or something!" Burger babies? Why not? Stranger things have happened.

Kanye West Professes To Be 'Ashamed' To Jay Leno

Once again, Kanye West is publicly apologizing for his crazy rant at the MTV Awards during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video.

Just before he performed yesterday on Jay Leno's new talk show, the rapper sat down to chat. The comedian asked the "Run This Town" rapper, what he believes his late mother, Donda West, would have thought of his outburst.

At this, Kanye was silent for over 20 seconds before he spoke. "Obviously, I deal with hurt, and so many celebrities, they never take the time off, and I never took the time off, really," he told Jay. Yes, because the rest of us schmucks usually get to take vacations in St. Tropez to mourn the loss of loved ones.

Kanye added, "I've really never taken the time off. It's been music after music and tour after tour. And I'm just ashamed my hurt caused someone else hurt." Maybe a few more trips to the beach would help him grieve. Check out the video after the jump.

Note to famous people: the tragic loss of a parent is not an excuse to continually act like a bastard in public. That goes for you too, Denise Richards.

Rihanna Returns To Stage For Leno Debut With Jay-Z & Kanye West

Jay Leno will welcome Jay-Z who will perform with Rihanna and Kanye West on the inaugural night of his new comedy show on September 14, Access Hollywood has learned.

The trio will perform "Run This Town" from Jay-Z's album The Blueprint 3, which drops on September 11.

It will be one of the first, major public performances for Rihanna, 21, since she was assaulted in February by her then boyfriend, singer Chris Brown.

Brown plead guilty to punching Rihanna in Los Angeles in February and is expected to be sentenced later this month to five years probation and 180 days of community service.

Bring it on Rihanna!
