Jeremy Piven Overindulges, Resulting in Manboobs

Share

Actor Jeremy Piven, who earlier this year claimed mercury poisoning caused by eating sushi twice a day for 20 years, is now guilty of overindulging again. The daily consumption of soy milk --12 cups per day to be exact, is now resulting in a luscious set of manboobs for Piven.

US Magazine reports (via The Huffington Post) that the Entourage actor has sworn off the healthful dairy milk substitute because of an unflattering side effect. "I was the guy that dabbled in soy milk, but now I've found out soy milk has enough estrogen for me to grow breasts," the Emmy Award winner explained. "I had to put the soy milk down. It was a very confusing time."

Another bizarre food occurrence to add to Piven's grocery list. If Piven had decided to follow the simple advice of "everything in moderation", the public would never know the direct correlation of soy milk and large breasts.

Got milk?

Ben Foster Is 'The Messenger' But Bears Good News About His Film

Hollywood heavyweights Ben Stiller and Charlize Theron turned up at a screening for The Messenger starring Ben Foster. The Six Feet Under actor stars in the film as a casualty notification officer in the Army, whose job it is to inform families of their loss.

Woody Harrelson co-stars and Foster tells the L.A. Times that after their experience working together, "He's my brother." Foster explains that all the notification scenes were done in one take and adds, "I've never cried or laughed in someone's arms so much as Woody Harrelson's."

However, his connection with co-star, Samantha Morton might be a little stronger, but for much different reasons. The actor admits, "I've had a severe actor crush on her for years. So getting the opportunity to play with her--she's Samantha...Morton. A woman who's very easy to fall in love with."

Jeremy Piven Wins 'Speed-the-Plow' Arbitration

Share

I wonder if Jeremy Piven celebrated with a sushi dinner last night?

Didn't see this one coming. According to an arbitrator, Piven did not breach contractual obligations or any personal agreements with the producers of the play for leaving.

The arbitrator stated in the decision that there was "sufficient evidence to establish that Piven's decision was a reasonable one; that it was reasonably based, and that the contrary evidence is insufficient."

This all stemmed from an incident earlier this year when the producers filed charges with Actors Equity against Piven, who was advised by his doctor at the time to stop working because of his illness. Piven's doctor attributed the illness to Piven's high mercury count due to his habit of eating sushi.

Something still smells fishy to me.

Celebrities Shield Their Face From The Sun

ZZ4DE74EDE.jpg
Celebrities always try and keep their face looking fabulous. After all, it's the thing that most people recognize and it's what is going to show up on a huge movie screen. So it's no wonder that they go to great lengths to protect it.

One great way to protect against the harmful rays of the sun? Hats! Celebrities love hats. Wearing hats, buying hats, eating things from hats...probably not the last one, but you get the pictures. Hats are often paired with sunglasses to prevent the paparazzi, but as well as know that usually never works.

We've compiled a list for you of some of our celebrities looking fabulous with a brim atop their head. My personal favorite is the picture of George Hamilton. Yes, he's in the snow, but I love seeing the tanned man, in the cold, wearing a hat.

Any pictures you're particularly fond of? Or do you have a favorite celeb who often wearing a protective hat that we've missed? Let us know! And remember, you've gotta protect that face!

Jeremy Piven Brings In 'The Goods'

Share

Jeremy Piven may be thought of as a household name, but his latest film The Good: Live hard, Sell Hard is his first leading man role. While in Philadelphia promoting the film, Jeremy chatted about his hectic schedule and his television and film career.

After promoting the film non-stop for the past few weeks, Jeremy is practically out of it. "I'm teetering," he says. "I don't think I'm doing the right things. I think I'm just - I'm about to hit the wall, as my character, Don Ready, does in the movie. You know what I mean? I may wander off. You may find me on the Liberty Bell, just barking and stark naked."

The film is about a used-car liquidator who is hired to help save a failing car lot. For fans of the show Entourage, the character of Don Ready may evoke some memories of my favorite Hollywood agent, Ari Gold. "I probably did 40 movies before I even started Entourage. . . . But Ari has dominated for a couple of years now, and now I think Don Ready will, because there are so many quotable lines in The Goods. People are already starting to quote these lines and scream things out: 'Party at my house! Everyone's welcome! No guys!' or 'MC Hammer is so broke, he's living in the left leg of his Hammer pants.'"

Yet, we'll also notice that we haven't Jeremy in many films where his name is the main header. "I'd been looking for that for a while, yeah," he says about leading man status. "I've been lucky enough to have played opposite a lot of actors that have been carrying films for years, and learning how they conduct themselves and how they navigate through a leading performance. So some of it maybe seeped in through osmosis, and some of it [from] just standing around hoping they would breathe on me."

People only seem to know him as the quick talking, head honcho kind of guy, but Jeremy knows he has a different side to his acting abilities. "It's fascinating to me when you have a director, or a producer, or a writer who wants to know if I can do something other than Ari. I don't have to play characters that take up all the oxygen," he says. "I simply don't." He played a less oxygen needing character in Speed The Plow on Broadway. Sadly, mercury poisoning forced him to leave the production. Now that was some dramatic stuff!

Wanna know my favorite Jeremy Piven role? He has like one line in the 1980's flick Say Anything. If you're not watching closely, you don't even notice it's him. I love Entourage, but I'm glad I'll get to see him on the big screen after awhile. He's kinda hot, don't you think? Look at him at the premiere of The Goods. Bravo Mr. Piven. You and the rest of the awesome celebs there are looking quite nice.

Bradley Cooper Has The Perfect Cure For 'The Hangover'

Share

The cast of The Hangover shared their hangover cures at the premiere of The Hangover last night in Hollywood with USA Today.

Bradley Cooper: "You're supposed to eat some roasted beets before you go out," he said. "Sadly, I learned about this after the fact. Someone told me this after I had a really bad hangover."

Ed Helms: "Here's what you do: Get some feta cheese. Do a shot of red paint and chase that with a gallon of gasoline. It'll clear it right up. I've done this every time," he said with a laugh. "I'm sort of my own daredevil. I'm all about the trial and error."

Justin Bartha: "Oh, keep drinking. Don't stop. A beer. One Bloody Mary. Keep it going. But if you have a little stomach thing, skip the Bloody Mary. I got that advice from myself. That comes from experience," he said. "Really, I'm a fairly tame guy, but I've had a couple bad ones. I'm usually the one laying in bed groaning the next morning."

Heather Graham: Her theory is to avoid drinking altogether in order to avoid any next-day pains ("I've had some terrible hangovers and I'm like, why did I drink that much?").

Come on Heather you could have done a little better than that. We could have used a little more sharing from you. Like when Bradley talked about having some balls hanging in front of his face. We like it when celebrities share.

Zac Efron - Low Rider With Baby On Board!

Maybe not a baby, but a small child. Zac Efron, who filmed a cameo appearance for the hit show Entourage, posed for a picture with Jeremy Piven and a cute toddler. At one point, Zac was seen stretching his back, which exposed his white Calvin Klein underwear!

Zac seems to enjoy the low riding jeans as shown here, here and here. Now if he just went commando, we'd have some more interesting shots to bring you.

Lakers Game Attracts Hot Male Celebrities

Share

Big surprise, right? Super-eligible bachelor of the moment, Guy Ritchie was one of many high-profile mens in the stands to support the Los Angeles Lakers.

Some of Hollywood's acting elite filled the stands with Leonardi DiCaprio, Denzel Washington and Jack Nicholson showing up to cheer on the Los Angeles basketballers.

Comedians Tim Allen, Chris Rock and Adam Sandler took a break from the jokes to play the role of fan as well. The cutest though, are longtime couple Kyra Sedgwick and hubby Kevin Bacon and the fact that their presence makes them one degree separated from everyone in the stands.
