The New Moon holy trinity visited Jimmy Kimmel last night. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner appeared on the show and even answered some questions from fans in the audience. The three of them have some much natural chemistry together. It's fun to see them play off one another.

Well all of the hype and massive promotional tour by the cast of New Moon is the reason why the film is breaking records. The film broke the record for a midnight showing sales in U.S. and Canada - $26.3 million. Now it's all but certain that the film will also break the record for single-day domestic ticket sales with more than $70 million. The previous record was set by The Dark Knight with $67.2 million.

I'm hoping that the holy trinity got some nice back end deals.

Hollywood heavyweights Ben Stiller and Charlize Theron turned up at a screening for The Messenger starring Ben Foster. The Six Feet Under actor stars in the film as a casualty notification officer in the Army, whose job it is to inform families of their loss.

Woody Harrelson co-stars and Foster tells the L.A. Times that after their experience working together, "He's my brother." Foster explains that all the notification scenes were done in one take and adds, "I've never cried or laughed in someone's arms so much as Woody Harrelson's."

However, his connection with co-star, Samantha Morton might be a little stronger, but for much different reasons. The actor admits, "I've had a severe actor crush on her for years. So getting the opportunity to play with her--she's Samantha...Morton. A woman who's very easy to fall in love with."

Much like former Jimmy Kimmel Live guest, Kathy Griffin, Matt Damon thought it would be good fun to film a comedic sketch for his interview on the late night talk show.

Damon engaged in a slow-motion fight sequence with Jimmy Kimmel's sidekick, Guillermo, who dared to mock the Bourne Identity actor by dressing up as Damon's character from The Informant!

After ripping the fake mustache from Damon's face, punching his Informant! co-star, Joel McHale, in the jaw, knocking the apple McHale was chewing right out of his mouth. "I'm going to f--king kill Kimmel." Damon asserts. Check out the video after the jump.

It sounds like he's getting his money's worth of testosterone outside of the house.

During her interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Kathy Griffin worked to promote her new book telling the talk show host that her goal is to "out-sell The Bible."

Additionally, the comedian debuted her a clip of her newest role as notorious reality television matriarch, Kate Gosselin from TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8. In the clip, Kathy stars opposite George Takei and she jokes to Jimmy, "It's like my Malcolm X."



As for the real-life ridiculousness that comprises the lives of the dissolving Gosselin brood, Jon Gosselin's girlfriend, Hailey Glassman has dumped him, according to In Touch. The magazine claims that the pool party in Vegas was the final straw after he "lied to her about [his relationship] with Kate Major."

In a trailer for a mock biopic, George Takei takes on the role of reality TV star dad, Jon Gosselin, while Kathy Griffin throws on a pair of khakis, a trademark blond-streaked wig and a frustrated facial expression for her pitch-perfect impersonation of mother-of-eight, Kate Gosselin.

The sketch is part of Kathy's appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in the comedy segment entitled, Kate is Enough: The Kate Gosselin Story. Kathy's been doing the promotional circuit for her new book, Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin.

While the comedienne has a knack for turning even the most earnest of situations into fodder for her comedy act, she reveals a serious side in her book. The redhead discusses her late brother, Kenny, who she claims told had "sexually inappropriate" discussions with her as a child.

Physically abusive to his wife and "in and out of jail," Griffin's brother died shortly after his addiction to drugs took over his existence.

Of her experiences with her troubled sibling, Kathy says, "I think when you have someone like that in your house, one of the things you learn is, you've got to laugh." I think it's safe to say, Kathy's learned how to do just that.

It's a bird, it's a crane, no it's Sienna Miller!

Accompanied by talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, Miller waved at fans as she was lifted to Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, just across the road from the studio where Sienna had been a guest on Kimmel's show earlier in the evening. She had planned to make her way straight to the premiere afterwards. But before she left, Kimmel told her: "I know you have to get over there in a hurry, and in fact I've rented a giant escorting machine.

"A woman of your caliber should not be forced to walk, so I've rented a crane to take you across the road."

Miller, who looked stunning in a floor-length gold dress, joked about the crane: "This is a chick magnet..."

And, as they soared over the crowds, Kimmel said: "I don't want to start rumours, we're not dating."

With a title like Funny People, it's surprising to see that the latest film from 40-Year-Old Virgin director Judd Apatow branching out from his standard comedy fare.

But as the film's star Eric Bana tells USA Today, "I think he's a director who could direct great drama and he's chosen to do comedy. With this one, he made a great film that is really, really funny as well."

Although the film's premise is quite serious--with Adam Sandler's main character diagnosed with a terminal illness--there's no lack of laughter in the movie. Leslie Mann, who stars in Funny People, admits, "There was a lot of filth. Offensive filth, that wasn't family friendly."

Sounds like a good time was had by all.

Celebrities love their sports! At last nights game the Dodgers were joined by Zachary Levi, Jimmy Kimmel, Wolfgang Puck, and Taylor Lautner.

Chuck star Zachary Levi was lucky enough to throw out the ceremonial first pitch last night. Check him out being all sexy and stuff. We'll all get plenty more of Mr. Levi when Chuck returns to NBC this fall.

And of course Taylor Lautner was out looking buff as usual. If you don't know the name Taylor Lautner, then either you've been living under a rock, or you prefer to call him Jacob Black, shape shifter and baller best friend in Twilight.

Oh, and can someone explain to me why Wolfgang Puck was there? Jimmy Kimmel, sure, makes sense. But Wolfgang Puck? Was he cooking something somewhere?
Hopefully more celebs will show up to Dodger games and help them win, just like they helped the Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies last night.
