Fully supportive of his girlfriend's fashion endeavors, Joel Madden recently gushed to People magazine about Nicole Richie's snazzy dress sense.

Madden confesses, "I love Nicole's style. She's the coolest person I've ever met, and she doesn't try at all." While he doesn't quite represent the her target demographic for Nicole's women's clothing line, Richie responded with an appreciative, "Thanks, honey!"
 
Joel describes her designs as "bohemian rock and roll, hippie, sexy and comfortable clothes for women." He forgot to add "super-skinny" before the word "women."

It's been a little over a month since Nicole Richie gave birth to her little boy, Sparrow James Midnight Madden, but this young mother of two appears to be a dynamo of energy. At the Beyond Shelter Playground ribbon cutting, Richie and her man, Joel Madden, showed off their humanitarian side.

And recently, Nicole displayed her entrepreneurial spirit by revealing a new clothing line. The Winter Kate collection is inspired by the reality TV starlet's own wardrobe. Nicole explains her personal style by saying, "I probably wear the same two pairs of jeans every day as the background to a fabulous top. Bed jackets are a staple of my wardrobe because they are a gorgeous way to give jeans and a white T-shirt a completely different look."

She's confident that ladies will enjoy the designs, "The pieces can be dressed up, made casual, but most importantly, they provide the wearer a means of self-expression and fun." That sounds compelling, but I doubt she has anything in my size.

Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden hit the red carpet Sunday night for the 1st Annual The Noble Awards, which took place at the Beverly Hills Hilton.

Celebrities who will accept awards on behalf of the charities being honored include Laila Ali (Women's Sports Foundation), Billy Bush (Lollipop Theater Network), Kenny Edmonds (Stand Up to Cancer), Teri Hatcher (Childrens Hospital Los Angeles), Norman Lear (Playing for Change), Joel Madden (The Art of Elysium), Annalynne McCord (The Blind Project), Nancy O'Dell (Best Buddies), Eva Longoria Parker (Padres Contra El Cancer) and Brett Ratner (DoSomething.org). During the ceremony, each will be presented with an award sculpture, designed by Antonio Banderas, with personal touches added by children who participated in The Art of Elysium workshop at the Shriner's Hospital for Children. Brian McKnight and Julio Iglesias, Jr., along with Emily Bear and Timothy Mitchum will provide live musical performances throughout the evening.

Luckily Nicole Richie left the kids at home. Richie was rear-ended by a paparazzi who was arrested as a result of the accident.

"She was rear-ended," BHPD Lt. Tony Lee tells E! News, adding that the accident occurred around 2 p.m. "There was a complaint of pain injury. She told officers at the scene that she's going to seek her own medical treatment."

There was only minor damage to her car, and no ambulance was called to the scene.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are spotted leaving the Selena Gomez show at The Roxy in West Hollywood with their guest through the backdoor. Nicole, not surprisingly is still looking as thin as she was before she became pregnant.

The Hills star Lauren Bosworth was seen outside of the concert as well. The poor thing was alone.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are the proud parents of a new baby boy - Sparrow James Midnight Madden. WTF? Sparrow for a boy? I'm thinking he's going to be going as Midnight Madden pretty quickly.

Doting daddy, Joel Madden, was recently overhead gushing about how much he loves showing his little girl, Harlow Madden, with gifts.

A snitch confessed to Page Six to overhearing the Good Charlotte rocker tell a friend at h.wood, "I love to spoil Harlow." In addition, he referred to the little tot as "a daddy's girl."

And the musician is even more excited at the prospect of meeting baby number two with girlfriend, Nicole Richie, so that he can get to work lavishing him or her with presents. Aww, well isn't that something cute to read on a Monday morning?

Celebrities always try and keep their face looking fabulous. After all, it's the thing that most people recognize and it's what is going to show up on a huge movie screen. So it's no wonder that they go to great lengths to protect it.

One great way to protect against the harmful rays of the sun? Hats! Celebrities love hats. Wearing hats, buying hats, eating things from hats...probably not the last one, but you get the pictures. Hats are often paired with sunglasses to prevent the paparazzi, but as well as know that usually never works.

We've compiled a list for you of some of our celebrities looking fabulous with a brim atop their head. My personal favorite is the picture of George Hamilton. Yes, he's in the snow, but I love seeing the tanned man, in the cold, wearing a hat.

Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden hit the streets of West Hollywood looking rather odd with a giant white head. OK, so he was shooting a video for his band, but still, how often does one see Jack from Jack in the Box hanging around?

In fact, how often does one see the King from Burger King, Colonel Sanders from KFC, and Ronald McDonald from McDonalds chilling in a car together? Not very often. That's probably why the newest video for Good Charlotte took everyone a little bit by surprise. But honestly, wouldn't it kind of be fun to hang out with those four for a day? Sure your arteries would be clogged the next day and cause a heart attack, but imagine how much fun that day would have been.

Oddly enough, lead singer Joel Madden was surprisingly absent from the video shoot. I haven't heard anything about Joel leaving the band, have you? I'm guessing he was probably busy working on his new book. Or he was busy helping his girlfriend Nicole Ritchie go to the bathroom. I feel like she's definitely at that point in her pregnancy where it's difficult to move.
