PHOTO GALLERY: Christian Dior Pret a Porter

The fashion show had much more star power than just Rihanna. Designer John Galliano's Dior show was attended by Adrian Grenier, Alexis Roche, Anna Piaggi, Antoine Arnault, Bruce Willis, Dita Von Teese, Emma Hemming, Elsa Zylberstein, Estelle Lefebure Essebag, Jean Claude Darmon, Julie Depardieu, Katia Toledano, Leigh Lezark, Peter Marino, Sidney Toledano and Tang Wei.

Wailing sirens, the sound of a car crash and billows of smoke: ever the showman John Galliano took Dior to the movies on Friday, to the heyday of the classic 1940s film noir.

Trenchcoats and leather jackets with sharp lapels and belts knotted at the waist were the default outerwear in Galliano's ready-to-wear offerings for spring-summer 2010, and the attache case the new must-have accessory.

Vogue Fashion Fund Attendees Kick Up Their Heels

It was a smattering of high-falutin' fashionistas in attendance at the 5th Anniversary of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund at Skylight Studios in NYC last night.

A serene-faced Charlize Theron poured herself into a black dress and posed with over-the-top fashion designer John Galliano, who favored a top hat adorned with daisies for the evening. He likes to keep it simple, that one.

Television couple Blake Lively and Penn Badgley enjoyed a night out together at the event, while model Agyness Deyn opted for a less conventional look in a pair of sky-high red heels.

And here we are, taking a moment to salute Diane von Furstenberg for simply existing and looking fabulous while doing so. Cheers, darling!
