Continuing to film scenes for their film, Eat, Pray, Love, Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem look as if they're still having a rollicking good time turning the novel into a movie. Both Julia and Javier didn't mind hiking in the dirt to get to a location on set, each laughing as they made their way up the hill.

She decides to go on a journey of self-discovery, starting with Italy (eat), staying in an ashram in India (pray) and finally Bali, where she finds love with her second husband Felipe.

Movie star, James Franco, is going to be taking a break from his film career--which includes filming Eat, Pray, Love with romantic comedy queen, Julia Roberts--for a guest stint on a daytime soap.

The Golden Globe winner will be making his way to ABC's General Hospital. The show's star, Steve Burton, confirmed the news, and also commented on the rumor that Vanessa Marcil is returning to the series. Burton wrote on his Twitter page, "Franco is...dont know about Vanessa."

More information has emerged on the ABC Soaps in Depth website, "We hear that Franco will work a few days a week on the GH set, taping several shows a day. A source says that Franco 'wants to do everything' and would take on his GH role as research for an upcoming film project." He must be prepping for a movie role as an evil twin who wakes up from a coma only to find that he's got amnesia.

Scores of policemen, private guards and plainclothes security guards kept curious visitors at bay as Julia Roberts walked about the sets created at Mirzapur village, 40 miles south of the Indian capital, New Delhi. Huge black screens protected the sets from television crews and photographers. She's currently in town to film Eat, Pray, Love.

Roberts was dressed in a turquoise blue tunic and loose pajamas, the traditional clothes worn by millions of Indian women. In the film, she plays the part of an American woman who leaves behind a troubled marriage and sets out on a journey of self-discovery.

According to sources, as many as 350 guards have been hired to provide security cover to the Roberts who will stay in Pataudi till October 6. Locals said that the star's presence has also brought large number of armed policemen and bouncers to the venue. "It seems that entire Ashram and the Pataudi palace, where the actress is staying with her children and nannies along with cast and crew of the film, have been booked,'' said Ramesh Yadav, who owns a shop outside the Ashram.

Ocean's Eleven and Twelve co-stars Julia Roberts and George Clooney formed a close friendship while working together.

And now, long after their last movie together wrapped, Julia, her hubby Danny Moder and their kids have popped over to visit "Uncle" George at his gorgeous lakeside home in Italy, while Hollywood has essentially relocated to Italy for the Venice Film Festival in town.

Julia chose to remain wrapped up in long sleeves, scarf, sunglasses in pants, while Danny took advantage of Italian sunshine to go shirtless for a bit.

Happy Labor Day everybody! So, we know that on Labor Day everybody is supposed to take a break from work and go to malls and movies and restaurants and have others serve them, so we decided it would be nice to see some celebrities on Labor Day. Not that that isn't what you had planned of course.

It's a scary thing when one is no longer a box-office powerhouse. I mean, isn't that why we give them the name A-List celebrity to begin with? Julia Roberts, currently in the middle of shooting Eat, Love, Pray, is just one of the many celebs to falter at the box office this past year. Let's run through the list, shall we?

Julia's film Duplicity that cost $60 million only made $40.6 million at the box office, so if Julia wants to keep her status Eat, Pray, Love needs to do really well. Will Ferrell had a total bomb with Land of the Lost, a $100 million movie that only sold $49 million worth of tickets. Funny man Adam Sandler also had flop with Funny People, which did sort of well the first week, but basically died the second. Tom Hanks' Angels and Demons was gone before anyone knew it was here. And Denzel Washington and John Travolta also had a flop with The Taking Of Pelham 1 2 3.

What could be the reason for these flops? Mostly, it's a good story that doesn't translate well to the screen, and sometimes it is even the actor or actress. Either he or she disappeared for far too long to have people still care, or it's always the same shtick in every movie, or the need to break away from one they are known for freaks people out.

The real hope this week is that Brad Pitt will be able to carry the film Inglourious Basterds basically by himself, as he's been the main focus of the entire ad campaign. If that doesn't work, the fate of the Hollywood A-List will become literally unforeseeable.

Some analysts believe that the use of social networking sites on the internet may also be to blame. That one, I completely believe. Think about it. If your friend hates a movie, it becomes their status update, and you don't bother to see it. Or sometimes you do, only to dislike it as well and tell others not to see it. Bottom line: Studios need to make good movies. And that, my friends, is easier said than done.
