Katy Perry Nearly Shows The Brits Her Bits

At The Brits music awards, Katy Perry showed off her curvaceous body in a pair of black, latex leggings a pair of dominatrix-style high heels. And what is that on her vest-top? Pieces of flair? Merit badges? I bet she smells like a hot glue gun, if you get up close.

Host for the evening was Kylie Minogue, who played quick-change artist sporting a tiny red sheath dress, a purple and pink sheath dress and a sparkly black strapless number. As if that weren't enough, it looks like she even had time to throw two toga-style dresses into the mix.

Euro pop icon David Hasselhoff showed up to the event looking tanned, pin-striped and lucid with a mystery "guest" on his arm. He looks good, by which I mean uninjured.

Sanremo Song Festival Opens Amid Controversy

Katy Perry, who's not dating Benji Madden, and for some reason Paul Sculfor, Cameron Diaz's current love, attended a 59th San Remo Song Festival 2009 photocall. Jim Carrey, Kevin Spacey, Annie Lennox, Burt Bacharach and Hugh Heffner are all set to appear at the festival. The chaos of flashbulbs at the event are the least of the event's worries. Gay groups and consumer associations are up in arms over the Sanremo Fest.

One of the more famous artists, 36-year-old Milan singer-songwriter Povia, has caused uproar among gay groups with his entry, Luca Was Gay, a song apparently about 'converting' gays to heterosexuality. Povia has previously come under fire over a magazine interview in which he declared that '"people aren't gay, they become gay on the basis of who they spend time with."

"This song represents a wound for all gay people who are fighting against homophobia and ignorance in Italy," Arcigay President Aurelio Mancuso reiterated Monday. "You don't change sexual orientation like a pair of shoes, it's rooted in our nature," he said, adding that five major gay right's groups will stage a protest in the city on Saturday.

Katy Perry Clearly Embarrassed, Denies Benji Madden Hook Up

The crappy thing about being an on-the-rise pop star looking to get a drunken piece from anything breathing (Paris Hilton's ex, Benji Madden, specifically) are nosey people like us who post pictures and write stuff about it.

Katy Perry has taken to her tumblr blog to refute said pictures and images, and clear up any rumors about her "boozy Valentines" where she was NOT "bumping uglies" with Benji.

"oh kittens! It's two pseudo famous people sitting next to each other... doesn't mean we were bumping uglies! You know I don't just do that with anyone! That's just how the media works, as you can tell. I was there celebrating a really fun show and a boozy valentines with all my good friends. We were like a group of 25! Benji is a nice young fellow, but my heart really belongs to kitty purry/markus molinari. Hope your vagina day was as FUN as mine. Definitely not too heart breaking :)"

While our fragile minds would rather not travel down the dark and trepidatious mental image road of Katy Perry and Benji Madden "bumping uglies" (ewwww) what's up with all this "oh kittens!" "kitty purry" and "vagina day" references?

I think Kitty Purry is trying to tell us something.

Katy Perry & Benji Madden Get Chatty

At the Hard Rock Hotel's Wasted Space, Katy Perry bounded up on stage in a ballerina-tutu-looking dress and told the audience that she was performing for them on "the horror that is Valentine's Day."

Despite her complaint, it seems like Katy was enjoying her single status when she mixed and mingled with Paris Hilton's ex Benji Madden. According to People magazine, the two "conspicuously cuddled thoughtout the night" at Lavo.

Ugh, really? Rebounding with Paris Hilton's sloppy seconds? Why not just lick a train station hand rail? It would be more hygenic.

Katy Perry In Washboard Abs Sandwich

Even though she's far from the image of what you'd imagine when you hear the term "Bondi Blonde," Katy Perry played hostess at the Style Mansion's party sponsored by the low-carb Australian beer. Oh this one. Always so preoccupied with surrounding herself with various fruits.

The "I Kissed A Girl" singer continues on a path of hellfire and self-destruction by partying with shirtless men so soon after her breakup from boyfriend Travis McCoy.

Meanwhile, Brigitte Nielsen was the picture of elegance in her beautiful fur-trimmed coat made from the pelts of a little white puppies. That's the kind of glamor you couldn't replicate if you tried. As if that weren't enough, the evening actually warranted a costume change for her into a fire-engine-red jacket dyed from the blood of said puppies who gave their lives in the name of fashion. Brigitte's not heartless--she wanted to make sure they didn't die in vain.

Katy Perry Has Locks Of Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift's Hair

While bigger stars will look right past Ryan Seacrest and pretend he doesn't exist (true story!), leave it to the always annoyingly campy Katy Perry to have props in her purse specifically for a pre-red carpet Ryan gab fest. She probably brain stormed a bunch of skits and practiced in front of the mirror before leaving her house.

After a snarky introduction, Katy baited him with: "Don't you want to know what's in my purse?" While Ryan played coy and pretended to not be interested in such things, he finally said sure, why not, and was greeted with two cut strands of hair -- one from Miley Cyrus, and another from Taylor Swift. Get it? Like she's doing voodoo witchcraft on her tween competition!

Wow, this girl is just so crafty! We imagine she sits at home with her cats, glitter and glue gun making really terrible paper-mâché, trinkets and earrings out of condom wrappers or something. She just seems like that type.

Katy Perry: 2009 Grammys Red Carpet

Sporting a short, wavy black do, Katy Perry slipped into a light pink, bbuble gum colored sheath dress, complete with a frothy pink bow at the waist.

The singer who recently became single appeared to have been inspired to don her Basil Soda frock as a nod to Marilyn Monroe, showing off her curves to the fullest. Diamonds really are a girl's best friend...oh yeah, and Spanx.

Katy Perry's Mother Prays For Her

If you didn't already know, Katy Perry's parents are evangelical Christian preachers.

Katy has joked in the past that her childhood resembled that documentary Jesus Camp, which would explain her obsessive glee in wearing edgy, busty outfits and recording faux-homosexual songs.

Well, Katy's mother Mary Hudson (who supposedly dated Jimi Hendrix but then found God), doesn't find the oh-so-catchy "I Kissed A Girl" cute and danceable. She actually hates that Katy is happily promoting sins.

Mary Hudson told the Daily Mail:

"I hate the song. It clearly promotes homosexuality and its message is shameful and disgusting. Katy knows how I feel. We are a very outspoken family and she knows how disappointed her father and I are. I can't even listen to that song. The first time I heard it I was in total shock. When it comes on the radio I bow my head and pray...Katy is our daughter and we love her but we strongly disagree with how she is conducting herself at the moment.'We cannot cut her out of our lives as she is our child but she knows we disagree strongly with what she is doing and the message she is promoting regarding homosexuality which the Bible clearly states is a sin."

What a coincidence! We bow our heads and pray that Katy Perry will just disappear everytime that song is played! We've got something in common with evangelical Christian preacher. Awesome!

Katy Perry Not Celibate, Says Journalist Is Inept

Uh oh. Looks like Katy Perry's post break-up, man-hating admission cut down on her rebound prospects. Time to backpedal!

She's now saying the whole "I'm going to be celibate" quote was just an attempt at making a funny.

"I am not going to be celibate," she told People, referring to her split from Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCloy. "That was a joke, and any fine journalist would have got that. Please. Celibacy for the whole year? I'd rather die."

Sure. Blame the journalist for your just-me-and-my-kitty moment. We all have them after a particularly brutal break-up, Katy. There's no shame.

But glad to see you're single and ready to jingle (wink, wink). But you may want to try to control all those mood swings with your next fling.

Katy Perry Won't Be Kissing Girls Or Boys For A While

Grammy-nominated Katy Perry has pledged to remain abstinent for a bit following her breakup from Gym Class Heroes boyfriend Travis McCoy.

The "I Kissed A Girl" singer told TV Guide, "I've actually taken a vow of celibacy this year. No kissing anyone. Just my cat, Kitty Purry."

Ah, so she's limiting herself to showing her own pussy some affection. Been there, done that.
