News Bites: Brad Pitt Says George Clooney Likes Chippendales




-When Ellen DeGeneres chatted with Brad Pitt on her talk show during a recent interview, the host implored the Benjamin Buttons star for pointers on how to lure his buddy George Clooney onto the show. Pitt suggested, "Get a bunch of Chippendales. He's yours. Three, four--no less than three."

-Kelly Ripa denies the National Enquirer report that she and her imperfection-free husband Marc Consuelos are calling it quits on their marriage. A rep for the couple who have been married for 12 years claims, "Their story is 100 percent false." Their pocket-sized, bronze union shall go on!

-Meanwhile in "they ARE splitting news," Dylan McDermott and his now ex-wife Shiva Rose have finalized their divorce. The couple won't legally be considered single until January 2nd, with Dylan starting the new year as a bachelor. They share two daughters, but it's as of yet unclear what the custody arrangement will be.

News Bites: Criss Angel Wants You To 'Believe'




-The Mindfreak illusionist Criss Angel claims that unfavorable reviews of his Cirque du Soleil show Believe are unfounded. "I think we're in really good shape," Angel said. "People don't stand (and applaud) if they hate something. People don't stand if they feel that they didn't get their money's worth." I guess we'll see when the show opens on Halloween. Still, there's not enough magic in the world to make me find this man attractive--no matter how many stainless steel adornments he might wear.

-Radio shock jock Howard Stern weds longtime girlfriend Beth Ostrosky tonight at Le Cirque. With the entire restaurant booked, the couple are sharing their special day with 180 of their closest friends. Well, we've heard this all before. Reportedly, the ceremony will be officiated by (no joke) Kelly Ripa's man Marc Consuelos. So that means I can justifiably write: Marc Consuelos will marry Howard Stern.

-Salma Hayek appeared at an event to support a global campaign aimed at eliminating the disease. The curvaceous humanitarian is a spokeswoman for the Pampers/UNICEF campaign which is aimed at raising funds to vaccinate pregnant mothers in underdeveloped countries. Hayek explained, "You cannot protect a child at birth against tetanus unless you immunize the mother during the pregnancy or before.

Tyra Banks And The Most Stylish New Yorkers




Tyra Banks hosts the Us Weekly Most Stylish New Yorkers party and from the look of Aubrey O'Day and Amanda Beard's outfits, you wouldn't necessarily know this was the same event.

Aubrey looked like she put on her sexiest grandma dress and even though I know Amanda Beard isn't a celebrity in the most obnoxious sense of the word, she still posed for Playboy and has enough money not to show up to a "stylish" event wearing a cheap little tank top. Come on, ladies.

Tyra let her hair down and looked good, as did (and I hate to say it) Elisabeth Hasselbeck in a pair of cute high-waisted pants and a white frilly top. I still can't stand her though. It was Tyra and Kelly Ripa who topped Us Weekly's list and rightfully so, since they were the best-dressed at the event.

News Bites: Put Cancer In The Dryer




-Kelly Ripa, talk show host, home appliance spokeswoman and tanning maniac, is also doing her part for charity. The teensy blond kicked off a fundraiser to help raise money and awareness for Ovarian Cancer Month. At the Electrolux-sponsored event, Ripa said, "A friend was diagnosed [with the disease] and I wanted to learn more about early detection."

-Kate Hudson says divorce is "the best thing that ever happened to" their relationship. The monogamy enthusiast says that she and her ex-husband Chris Robinson have "figured it out." It's called penis under glass--just break open in case of emergency.

-Holly Montag (Heidi Montag's sister) was spotted at the EA Sports Freestyle's FaceBreaker Launch in Hollywood on the arm of Doug Reinhart, Lauren Conrad's ex-boyfriend. However, Doug said of their relationship: "There are no romantic sparks." Great, so now I have to hear about their siblings and who they may or may not be banging...

Kelly Ripa Excited For Hubby's Upcoming Ugl



Kelly Ripa is reportedly all a-flutter that her adorable little hubby Mark Consuelos is getting ready for his scenes on the hit show Ugly Betty. Here the two are helping Kelly recover from her traumatizing experience of almost having to admit that the Lohans suck. Mark showed up on Regis & Kelly to film the segment Grilling with the Stars for the talk show. And in case you're wondering, that little clone is their son Michael Consuelos.

I've never watched a full episode of this show in my life, but they seem to be into some weird shit.

You totally know that once they finished with the meat, they plopped Kelly up on the spit and gave her a few turns. Keeping up a hearty tan like that is hard work, people!

Kelly Ripa: Red Carpet To The Moon



So, this is one of the most random red carpets I've seen in a long-ass time. Kelly Ripa and her perpetually perfect-looking husband Mark Consuelos are at the premiere for Fly Me to the Moon. The only other celebrity on the red carpet is astronaut Buzz Aldrin.

The movie is an 3D animated film about three flies that sneak aboard the Apollo 11 flight to the moon. I find that interesting, since Kelly looks like she must live on the sun, in order to maintain that tan of hers.

Kelly Ripa Cursed With A Perfect Husband



This would irritate the balls off of me. Hamptons diva Kelly Ripa says that her piece never looks off-point. She's married to her former All My Children co-star, Mark Consuelos. Apparently he never gets bats in the cave, or leaves the seat up, and probably always looks flawless and awesome. God, I hate him. It's been in the 90s everyday forever and I can't step out of my damn door without a giant sweat stain on my back which repulses the locals and causes children to crash their bikes. He probably doesn't even sweat. Or he does, and it just accentuate his cheekbones. BASTARD!

"I will say it is irritating that he wakes looking exactly like how he went to bed, because I wake up looking like a Chihuahua. He closes his eyes, and he's gorgeous, and he wakes up, and he's gorgeous. And he doesn't have morning breath," she says.

Oh, f*ck him.

He's probably dumb as mulch. Good!

Kelly Ripa Taking Over the Hamptons in Christie's Absence



Yes, Christie Brinkley used to be queen of the Hamptons, but now that she is busy with a dirty divorce trial it looks like Kelly Ripa might be aiming to take her place. The morning show host is on the cover of July's Hamptons magazine and enjoyed herself at a party last night in New York City to celebrate.

Kelly is always budging in, picking off those who are going through a rough time and taking their jobs. Ask Kathy-Lee Gifford. Poor woman wouldn't shut up about her good ol' days while on Celebrity Family Feud this week.

While at the event Kelly told reporters who asked about future daddy Clay Aiken, "It's great. I think he'll be a great father."  Guess Kelly must have finally gotten over this little dramatic episode.

Kelly Ripa and Marc Consuelos, The Tiny Couple That Endures

These two look like a pair of salt and pepper shakers to me. So tiny, so tan and with matching button noses. Marc kind of looks over everything here. The two of them are leaving the Ethical Cultural School on the West Side and looking as if they're having quite the serious conversation.

Meanwhile, Katie has been selected to be a spokesperson for the Ryka athletic line to promote their sporting apparel and footwear. I have no idea how she does all the crap that she does. The woman works out every day, has a daily TV show, kids, and about a million endorsements. I find staying on top of my TiVo stressful enough as it is. Just thinking about her daily routine is enough to give me a heart attack.
