It could not have been a hotter day for the premiere of "Hot Rod" in Hollywood. The pregnant Isla Fisher put on a brave face, and stepped onto the red carpet for the event.
"It is a little harder, I definitely feel my feet are swelling up a little bit but it's fun. It's exciting to be here," she said. The actress stars alongside budding new comic talent Andy Samberg, who writes and appears on Saturday Night Live. And she believes Andy is destined for big things: "Andy is a young Adam Sandler, he's very funny."
The movie is about a wannabe stuntman who plans to jump 15 buses to raise money for his stepfather's heart operation, so he can have fight him. The film is meant to be very silly, admits Andy.
"That's definitely what we were going for, that sort of stupid smart kind of comedy. It's a ridiculous, ridiculous movie with lots of weird sequences and sometimes it even gets a little musical."

Hopefully David and Victoria's encounter with Queen Latifah perked him up a bit, because he's looking really annoyed. I would have thought that he's one of those guys who loves to shop. Maybe it's the paparazzi that has him so glum?
Football ace David didn't crack a smile as he trailed wife Posh around an exclusive West Hollywood boutique so the designer clothes lover could stock up on yet more clothes.Glum-looking David looked as if he'd rather be anywhere else but there, as he waited, arms folded, patiently for Posh to finish her shopping session.
However, he managed to raise a smile when the couple bumped into rapper and actress Queen Latifah. The self-professed fan of rap music who counts P-Diddy and Snoop Dogg among his friends was clearly chuffed to meet her royal rap highness.
So was Victoria by the look of it, who greeted the voluptuous star with the requisite LA air-kiss.

Fall Out Boy just returned from their recent trip to Uganda where they shot the video for their next single. Joe Trohman from Fall Out Boy posted a journal of what their experience was like during their visit. Here's a taste:
Theres a lot to be learned from the people of Uganda. Despite the third world living we encountered in Gulu, the friendliness and open arms that the people bestowed upon us was truly wonderful. It's inspiring to meet people in such dire living conditions who still put on a smile everyday and live their lives to the fullest. The city of Gulu is one sense of poverty, yet the displacements camp we went to was well below the poverty line. The people, especially the children, are kept there as protection from the Rebels who would abduct them to use as child soldiers in the ongoing civil war. The living conditions at these camps are not so good. Malaria and Typhoid are amongst some of the biggest killers there, and they have no medical attention available to treat that. Like I had said in a photo I posted, there are about 50,000 people at this particular displacement camp. Around 80 percent are kids, most orphans. We were very lucky to have to opportunity to go there, see what its like first hand, meet the people living it, and help Invisible Children document everything, so we can show it to you all. Maybe it will inspire some of you to help in whatever ways you can.
