This is an OMGASM! Beyonce and  Lady Gaga bring two of my favorite worlds together in this latest song/video collaboration for "Video Phone" off of Beyonce's I Am...Sasha Fierce  DELUX album (available November 23).



Both women look GREAT  and sound well together, not to mention it's refreshing to see Gaga as just a woman and not some couture monster.

OMGAGA, what do we have here?! Lady Gaga's re-release her hugely successful album The Fame, now evolved into The Fame Monster, has been tightly under wraps until now!  We have received an advanced copy of the album and we.are.in.LOVE!

The "new" album features 8 songs from the pop icon, each very different from the next, as was showcased in The Fame. Though the most instant comparison might be to Madonna (and why not, Madonna's done just about everything), this supplement is pure pop paradise. Do not get confused, this is not the bubble gum pop of old; Gaga translates a very modern, electronic, and intense sound to her audience driven by sharp lyrical content and, let's be real, a huge production value. Though at times it may feel like the songs are over produced, we're willing to forgive the barrage of sound by comparing it to Gaga herself: a loud, larger than life presence with an ever evolving character.

I have to say that my favorite of the tracks are "So Happy I Could Die", "Bad Romance", "Telephone", "Teeth", and "Monster". Don't get me wrong, "Alejandro" and "Dance in the Dark" are great and "Speechless" is endearing, but I feel Gaga's most in her element with the a fore mentioned five songs.

The Fame Monster will be available in stores on 11/23/09, and you can catch Lady Gaga in concert as she launches her second tour: The Monster Ball. Gaga oOo La La!

It was a who's who of celebrity at last night's MOCA NEW 30th anniversary gala held at MOCA on November 14, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. It was celebrating it's new exhibit MOCA's First Thirty Years featuring more than 500 works by the likes of Piet Mondrian, Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollock, Jeff Koons and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Lady Gaga performed at the event, and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made a rare appearance for the event. The extravagant affair also brought out Eva Mendes, Kate Bosworth, Chloe Sevigny, Zoe Saldana, Michelle Phillip, Sandra Oh, Rose McGowan, Guy Ritchie, Diablo Cody, Jessica Alba, Marisa Tomei, Daisy Fuentes, Christina Ricci, Carey Mulligan, Kelly Lynch, Shirley Manson, Ciara, Kate Beckinsale, Len Wiseman, Pierce Brosnan, Chris O'Donnell, Kyle Maclachlan, Rachel Zoe, Lori Loughlin, Tracey Bergman, Eric Braeden, Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale, Eileen Davidson, Michelle Stafford, James Franco, David Burtka, Neil Patrick Harris, Jeremy Scott, John Legend and Brett Ratner.

It was another change for Lady Gaga to showcase her bizarre fashion sense at the MOCA NEW 30th anniversary gala held at MOCA on November 14, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. Lady and the Bolshoi Ballet performed at the event which also celebrated the opening of the exhibition Collection: MOCA's First Thirty Years.

You much watch her performance from the event! She performed "Speechless", with artist Francesco Vezzoli, for the first time.

In the episode of Gossip Girl that Lady GaGa is on, she is invited because Blair wants to impress the elitist theater kids at NYU with her private concert.

"I really sat down with the writers," she said. "I was like, 'Look, I want to do this, and the reason I want to do this is because I am trying to say something that is not mainstream in a mainstream capacity. So, if I can say it on your show, that would be, like, a real coup d'etat for me as a performance artist.' "

Lady GaGa will fall off ladders because the object is a monster symbol of bad luck. While doing that, she will be wearing 35 ft long red dress which is "very gothic-inspired".

Well holy shit, this is a twisted video.

This is what Lady Gaga told MTV about the music video:

"I knew [Francis Lawrence's] ability as a director is so much higher than what I could [do]," Gaga explained to MTV News last week. "There's this one shot in the video where I get kidnapped by supermodels. I'm washing away my sins and they shove vodka down my throat to drug me up before they sell me off to the Russian mafia."

As if being kidnapped by supermodels before being sold off to the Russian mafia isn't bizarre enough, Gaga also decided to step up her fashion game in the clip and include some razor-blade sunglasses -- yep, razor-blade sunglasses.

"I wanted to design a pair for some of the toughest chicks and some of my girlfriends -- don't do this at home! -- they used to keep razor blades in the side of their mouths," she explained. "That tough female sprit is something that I want to project. It's meant to be, 'This is my shield, this is my weapon, this is my inner sense of fame, this is my monster.' "

Ah, okay. Well go with that.

Oh yes, it's just a quiet night at out the Balans restaurant in SoHo for the always demure Lady Gaga, who stepped out for the evening in a full-body black lace catsuit.

The singer's penchant for the dramatic is never more apparent than in her upcoming Gossip Girl guest spot, according to the pop star herself. Gaga tells MTV News, "I am the narrator behind what is going on with the characters and make the song part of the moment." She adds, "We used these ladders, and I'm falling off ladders. Ladders are kind of a monster symbol about bad luck. And I have this 35-foot-long dress on and these X's, very gothic-inspired."

Gaga claims she was heavily involved in the process of developing her guest role and adds, "They let me do whatever the hell I wanted. It was amazing." She's describing it as a "crazy performance-art piece."

Would we expect anything less?

OK, so maybe the use of "BFF" is premature, but Lady GaGa has admitted that she forged a friendship with pop icon, Madonna--one that she still can't believe exists.

The twosome may have duked it out in a skit on Saturday Night Live, but in reality, the musicians hit it off behind the scenes.

GaGa told Grazia Australia, "I love her, she's always been an idol of mine and she's been so nice to me--I think I can say now that we're friends, which feels a bit weird." Let's hope she can dethrone boring Gwyneth Paltrow from the top slot on Madge's speed-dial.

This woman is seemingly unstoppable. Last night Lady GaGa joined a throng of New York fashionistas at the Accessories Council Excellence Awards, where she accepted the Stylemaker Award, presented by Marc Jacobs. And the singer made an extra special effort not to be outshone on the red carpet.

While her outfit of a black button down shirt worn with bullet bra over the top, hot pants and vertiginous mint-green shoes were outrageous enough, it was GaGa's headwear that really took her look from seriously kooky to absolutely extraordinary.

Remember fashion is not about comfort. Not only did she win an award last night, but she set a record. Lady Gaga became the first artist in the 17-year history of Billboard's Pop Songs chart to notch four No. 1s from a debut album, as "Paparazzi" rises 3-1.

Such a fierce little diva.
