It looks like our post-Oscar readership was a bit much for our servers to handle. Thanks for hanging in there with us.
The only thing Naomi Campbell does better than give hired help a beat-down is strut down a cat-walk. The British beauty with the problematic police blotter proved she can still rock some stilettos on the catwalk this past week when she strutted her stuff on the runway in Warsaw Poland, showing off designs by Agnieszka Maciejak. Naomi wore a series of remarkable floor-length gowns, including a slashed-to-the-thigh frock in lime green satin, and a sheer purple chiffon number and sported a new wig--er, I mean hairstyle (a short bob), while photographers flashed away. Interviewers waited for three hours to speak with the 36-year old supermodel, who has been working in the business since her discovery at the tender age of fifteen.
Girl, you may be crazy. You may even be sociopathic. But despite your criminal record, your stellar performance on the catwalk for this last challenge was so awe-inspiring that you are still in the running towards becoming America's Next Top Model. (Pause.) Even though you're British.

While shaking her money maker in Santiago, she took some time to free children from the ranks of child labor. Shakira met with Chile's President Michelle Bachelet during her tour stop to talk about the program Chile is designing to put an end to child labor. The government is aiming to have rid itself of the use of children as work horses by the year 2010.
Following the meeting with President Bachelet Shakira went out on a balcony and waved at the people like a sexy Evita. She spoke with some newspaper stating that she "she supported the scheme" and was happy to help. Being a big part of UNICEF and a child labor activist through her foundation 'Pies Descalzos' it is an issue close to her heart.
Damn do-gooders are making the rest of us look bad.

Kristin Chenoweth has been told by the Dolly herself, that she is the country music superstar's first choice to play her in a movie, should the opportunity present itself. According to Chenoweth:
"I love Dolly, everybody loves her. I talked with her at the Capitol on Memorial Day at one of the concerts and she jumped out of a freakin' cake with a red white and blue hat and just looked amazing. Her waist was tiny and I was just in amazement (sitting) in the wings. She walked up to me and she said, 'I've been hearing about you now Kristy. I just can't see anybody else playing me but you.' She calls her assistant in, 'Carol have you seen this girl? She's so me! Look at her.' Then she said, 'You know what, I'm gonna have my people stay in touch with you and see what we can do about that.'"And congratulations, Angelina Jolie, you'll be happy to hear that I've very graciously chosen you to play me in a movie. You can stop holding your breath now.

Nancy Grace is getting sued, according to People.
The family of Melinda Duckett, a Florida woman who shot herself to death after being forcefully questioned by CNN's Nancy Grace about her son's disappearance, sued the network and the Headline News host on Tuesday, claiming they bear responsibility for her death.Duckett's relatives claim the interview caused emotional distress that led to the suicide, the Associated Press reports.
CNN Headline News declined to comment specifically on the lawsuit. In a release, a spokeswoman said, "We stand by Nancy Grace and fully support her, as we have from the beginning of this matter."
Duckett's son, Trenton, was reported missing on Aug. 27. Duckett appeared on Grace's show on Sept. 7; she committed suicide the following day. Duckett has been named the prime suspect in her son's disappearance. Authorities said last week they believe there is a chance the boy is still alive.
