Way back in 2006, Madonna journeyed to an orphanage in Malawi, from where she adopted her son, David Banda (who was in a playful mood). Now, three years later, the youngster has returned with his pop star mother to visit the place where he spent the first few years of his life.

The visit was an emotional one for the staff who cared for the young boy during his stay. "David is too young to understand...but for us who remember the sickly tiny little baby of 2006, it was hard to hold back tears, including Madonna," director for the center, Lucy Chipeta tells Us Weekly.

During their visit, Madge was treated to a traditional "warrior dance" by the children dressed in uniforms. Young David soon fell victim to the infectious beat, getting caught up in the dance himself. At one point, one of the orphans told Madge, "You are our god. Where could we have been without you?"

Well, she did die for our sins...right?

A casual Madonna - jeans - reunited with Guy Ritchie in London to take the kids, Lourdes, David, Rocco and Mercy to Kabbalah services in London. David hammed it up for the camera by making a few faces, while Guy Ritchie, and his newly shaved head, was wearing his typical stern face.

Madonna's ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon was spotted out walking in Soho with their daughter Lourdes Leon and his girlfriend. While Lourdes seems to have taken on her own unique fashion sense, she maybe be joining her mother in future musical endeavors.

Madonna has heaped praise on her young daughter Lourdes -- insisting the teen is a "better" musician than herself. Lourdes can play the guitar, trumpet and drums.

"She is a far better musician than me if I am totally honest," the Holiday hitmaker told UK newspaper the Metro.

I guess time will tell.

It's during her stay in the Holy Land that Madonna is currently releasing the music video for her song, "Celebration." The pop star features both her 22-year-old boyfriend, Jesus Luz, in the video, as well as her 12-year-old daughter, Lourdes Leon.

Jesus Luz poses as a DJ in the video, while Madge's lookalike daughter shows off her best breakdancing moves, in an impressive display.



Meanwhile, the pop star's visit to Jerusalem has caused controversy. Prominent Kabbalah Rabbi Yitzhak Batzri tells Sky News, "Madonna is not dealing with the real practical Kabbalah."

He adds, "We deal with spiritual issues of the soul, whereas Madonna is dealing with issues of the body as well. Her teaching of Kabbalah is erroneous."

To be fair, her daughter really can bust a move.

Ever the working girl, Madonna spent her 51st birthday on stage in Warsaw, Poland as part of her Sticky & Sweet tour. However, the pop singer found that mixed in among cheers from her fans was a select group of religious locals protesting her concert.

They were furious with the singer for performing on the day marking the Virgin Mary's ascension to heaven and were none too pleased with controversial pop star's performance. But from the sound of the audience singing her "Happy Birthday," it probably didn't bother her too much.

Taking her party train to Italy, Madge celebrated with a holiday to Italy to visit her pals Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce. Bringing her family in tow, she's enjoying her vacation and probably only worked out a paltry 3 hours to celebrate.

Madonna, along with daughter Lourdes, and Jesus Luz, took in a little bit of culture in Madrid, Spain. They were spotted visiting the Prado Museum and Royal Palace in Madrid.

Madonna seemed to especially enjoy her tour of the Prado Museum, which features one of the world's finest collections of European art dating from the 12th century to the 19th century.

The singer wore a beige loose-fitting top and trousers and a tweed hat with her hair scraped back from her face, with Jesus wore an all black ensemble.

One thing of note, while Madonna may not be aging that gracefully, she's in fantastic shape. Look at those arms!

With a child holding each hand, pop star Madonna, took of her pop star hat momentarily to play mom with her brood at the Tuileries Gardens in Paris. The gang have already been spotted in town, taking in the sights and sounds of gay Paris.

Madge's eldest daughter, Lourdes Leon, is looking increasingly more similar to her mother. Dressed in an outfit that hearkens back to Madonna's early 80s style, Lourdes played the arcade and enjoyed a ride on the swing.

The singer's sons, Rocco Richie and David Banda, are both getting bigger by the minute little Mercy James looks like she's fitting in with the rest of the family just fine.

While mommy Madonna was off somewhere doing who knows what, her kids were busy going all over Paris with their nannies. Madonna and family are in town for her latest tour, and seem to be enjoying themselves. What's up with Paris right now? It's like the ladies of pop are going to some convention.

Lourdes, Rocco, David, and Mercy enjoyed a day of sightseeing in Paris with their nannies in tow. I gotta say I'm loving everything that Lourdes is wearing these days. She's just so hip and fashionable. Rocco looked cute. Wonder if he wishes he were with his daddy? And David and Mercy just looked utterly perplexed by the whole affair.

After her tour leaves Paris, Madge is headed off to Belgium where her family will not doubt enjoy some Belgium waffles. Have one in my honor, will you please? Ooo, and spread Nutella on it. Yes. I wonder if Madonna likes Nutella?

Madonna took newly adopted daughter Mercy James to Kabbalah in London, but she wasn't alone. She was joined by her children David Banda, Rocco Richie and Lourdes Leon along with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie. 

You know I have to say that I'm impressed with Madonna and Guy Richie. Other than some initial harsh words towards one another during their relatively quick divorce, the two have really stepped it up for their kids. Nice going.

Madonna is reportedly planning a holiday trip to Jerusalem to introduce her newly adopted daughter Mercy James to Jewish mysticism Kabbalah.

"Madonna wants to give Mercy enough time to settle in to her new home. By September she feels she will be ready to take the trip without danger of upheaval," The Sun quoted a source as saying.

"The Wailing Wall is a very sacred place for anyone with links to the Jewish faith and she wants all the children to see it," the source added.
