Spice Girls Musical In The Works

What producers want, what they what they really, really want is to find five girls to portray Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Victoria Beckham and Melanie Chisholm on stage in a musical production about the British pop group.

Backers of what is being billed as a two-hour "pop extravaganza" are banking on the success of last year's reunion tour of the 90s pop stars executed a few years ago.

A snitch dishes to The Sun, "The project is Geri's baby really but all the girls are backing it. The idea is for five relatively unknown actresses to take the parts and hopefully the girls will each have a say in who is cast."

Casting suggestions, anyone?

Kidding! There was just one drag queen, but a big prize goes to whoever can pick her out of the crowd!

Kim Kardashian, Holly Madison and Melanie Brown headed over to the Pink's Hot Dogs opening at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

And from the looks of it, these ladies are hungry for some sausage. Luckily for them, there's plenty to go around.

SNAPPED: Spice Girls Reunite Without Victoria Beckham

She only was missing out on a dinner though.

Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton joined Geri Halliwell over dinner at the Palm restaurant in London's Knightsbridge before heading to Mayfair Hotel for cocktails.

But there was one noticeable absence from the party, Victoria Beckham. This was because Vicky is in the United States. She had a triumphant visit to New York Fashion Week, where she unveiled her DVB spring/summer 2010 collection.

Paris Hilton Sues Hallmark As She Shines In Venice

Paris Hilton is in court once again, but this time she's the one doing the suing. The LA Times reports that the appeals court has upheld a lawsuit in which Paris is suing Hallmark Cards Inc. for wrongfully using her name and image on a birthday card.

Hallmark had requested that he suit be dismissed, however the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals rejected Hallmark's defense that the card was "in the public interest." Judge Diarmuid O'Scannlain said of the suit, "Hallmark cannot employ the public interest defense because its birthday card does not publish or report information."

The card showed Paris' head on a cartoon waitress body with a line that read "Paris's First Day as a Waitress." This was presumably based on an episode of the show The Simple Life, where Paris did indeed work as a waitress.

Paris is currently seeking at least $100,000 in damages and is accusing Hallmark of "commercial appropriation of identity and invasion of privacy." Paris has been on the winning streak when it comes to lawsuits recently, so maybe she'll prove victorious once more.

At the moment though, the heiress who one judge described as "famous for being famous," is hitting the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival with beau Doug Reinhardt in tow. Paris was wearing one fabulous dress, but she wasn't the only one looking glamorous. She was joined on the red carpet by Eva Mendes, looking much better than yesterday, Nicolas Cage, Melanie Brown and Stephen Belafonte.

Good luck with the lawsuit Paris. You'll probably win. Cause that's what famous people do.

Melanie Brown Wants Her Money Back

Things one should not do: 1) Mess with a Spice Girl. In this particular case we're talking about former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, AKA Mel B., AKA Scary Spice. Melanie and her husband, Stephen Belafonte, are suing former business partner Dan Catullo for defrauding the couple in numerous ways.

According to reports Catullo apparently duped the couple before the partnership began. Melanie and her husband were to join with Catullo in 2008 by setting up a company to profit her "music, touring, merchandising [and] public appearances." Catullo then decided against the $2 million deal and defrauded them. This included forging Mel's signature on financial documents.

In the lawsuit, Mel and her husband are asking for $7 million for the fraud, breach of contract and other offenses that have yet to become public. So you see why I'm telling you not to mess with the Spice Girls? I'm just trying to protect you. It's only a matter of time before jumping out of cakes gets boring and she'll need more money. Doesn't she kind of look like she's made of wax in those pics? I know right?

Single Vanessa Minnillo Parties With The Girls At Reebok Event

Former Total Request Live host Vanessa Minnillo is back on the singles scene in a big way. Having recently split from her boyfriend Nick Lachey, Minnillo isn't spending her nights watching Fatal Attraction and inhaling pints of ice cream.

The 28-year-old former beauty queen was living it up at the Reebok Easytone party in Beverly Hills last night and according to a witness who chatted with Life & Style, "She totally seemed to be flirting and didn't look like she was upset or anything."

Although she was having no trouble attracting male attention, Minnillo arrived with a female friend to the event. It sounds like her buddy was doing a good job as wing man at the event.

The spy added, "[Vanessa] looks like she's on the prowl and that she'll stop at nothing to get her prey." To that we say, "Rawr!"

Lindsay Lohan To Star In Topless Vegas Revue?

Producers of the Las Vegas strip show Peepshow currently starring Mel B and Kelly Monaco could soon be in talks to have Lindsay Lohan appear in the revue.

The 22-year-old single starlet took in a performance on a trip to Sin City and clearly liked what she saw. Lohan was overheard chatting with Scary Spice about how much she loved the show. A spy claims that Lindsay told her, "If they make me an offer, and the money's right, I'll do it."

The role in question is the one currently being played by Kelly Monaco and Lohan would be in contention, along with Holly Madison and Brooke Burke. With Lindsay partying until 3 a.m. with the former Spice Girl, Linds is Brown's first choice for the gig. The vodka was flowing freely, so God only knows what other career choices Lindsay made that night.
