When The Beautiful Life actress, Mischa Barton, hit up the party on Friday thrown by DGI Management's Yoni Goldberg, she got a visit from the ghost of Halloween past.

Barton's ex, Brandon Davis, was also in attendance at the soiree and it seems that the erstwhile couple's claim to have stayed "good friends," is a bunch of BS.

A witness tells Page Six, "They saw each other and then spent the whole night on opposite ends of the party. They didn't seem interested in saying hello, and Mischa appeared a little wobbly," the snitch reports.

Well, I think you'd be a little wobbly if faced with this.

It's easy to forget just how extensive of a television and film career Bronson Pinchot has had, that is, until you read this in-depth interview with the 80s sitcom icon with The Onion's The A.V. Club.

In it, Bronson dishes on his experiences working with Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington, Eddie Murphy and Tom Hanks. While most of what he reveals isn't all that surprising, it is fascinating.

On Working With Tom Cruise in Risky Business: "We didn't know it was going to be a big hit. We thought Tom [Cruise] was the biggest bore on the face of the Earth...He was tense and made constant, constant unrelated homophobic comments, like, 'You want some ice cream, in case there are no gay people there?'...It was like, 'It's a nice day, I'm glad there are no gay people standing here.' Very, very strange."

On Tom Hanks: "He is a wonderful and genuine and lovely and down-to-earth person. I don't know how he does that...He's always been a delightful person, so it's not really true that big stars need to be driven and repulsive, because he's anything but."

The cancellation of her television series, The Beautiful Life, has actress Mischa Barton rethinking her television career.

23-year-old Barton tells People magazine, "I think I need to back away from the whole TV approach. That whole world of network television, probably isn't, for me, a good idea now. I need to start reading for more serious roles."

She hasn't yet lined up a next project and says her schedule is pretty relaxed at the moment, with the recently hospitalized starlet spending most of her time working out. Her other activities include, "reading scripts and enjoying living in New York."

We hope this means she's also squeezing in a nap here and there. Girlfriend could use a break.

It was a glamorous night in New York City last night. The 2009 Whitney Museum Gala took place and it was star studded. We brought you photos of a sparkly and golden Lindsay Lohan attending the event earlier, but there were many more glamourous women than Lindsay in attendance.

It's hard to believe Jennifer Hudson gave birth to a bouncing baby boy two months ago, as she showed off her post-baby body in a pale pink floor-length Versace dress.

Donatella Versace also opted for a very similar color, but her gown had a metallic-looking bodice, which matched the metallic theme that many of the celebrities sported.

Taylor Momsen had some problems on the red carpet with her thigh-high split floor length gown, but once she got the gown under control, all was well. She does love those fishnets and dark eye makeup.

Also attending the event were Alexa Chung, Chanel Iman, Charlotte Ronson, Leigh Lezark, Mischa Barton (who looked pretty stunning and totally with it), Lake Bell, Lisa Edelstein, Nigel Barker, Gerard Butler, Candice Bergen and Shakira.

Once again, Peter Facinelli found himself rubbing elbows with some pasty-faced individuals at the Sony Vaio Microsoft product launch at Gustavino's in New York City. The big screen vampire posed for pictures on the red carpet with the white-faced circus performers of Cirque Bezerk, performing the event.

In addition, Mischa Barton also showed up, looking far more upbeat than she did the last time we saw her, shortly after the news that her CW series, The Beautiful Life, had been canceled.

While her TV career may be stalling, there are still plenty of red carpet events to amuse Mischa until her next gig arises.

So, in case you hadn't heard, Mischa Barton's most recent show, The Beautiful Life, has been canceled. Now, it's not clear what the 23-year-old actress has planned next, now that she's out of work.

It took a mere two episodes on the air for the CW to yank the Ashton Kutcher-produced series, replacing it with reruns of Melrose Place. Ouch.

Having recently suffered from a wisdom-tooth-operation-caused mental breakdown, Barton looked glum as she walked through New York's East Village in a super-short, striped black and white mini-dress.

Girlfriend needs to cover up, lest she catch cold. It's cold out there!

Well, so much for the comeback. After two episodes, the CW has cancelled The Beautiful Life: TBL. I'm blaming the cancellation on a few things. First of all ":TBL." Come on. Why?

Second. Sara Paxton is boring.

Third. Ashley Madekwe is annoying.

Fourth. The writing was pretty awfully cheesy.

Mischa Barton was the most exciting thing about the show. Using a model with a baby as "the big secret" is just not compelling (the backstories of most of the models were just plain boring - farm boy, father in prison). Give a model Mackenzie Phillips back story and we've got something, but a model with a baby. No.

And where were all the gay male models?

After making a recent appearance on Mischa Barton's new show on the CW, The Beautiful Life, designer Zac Posen thought he'd design his buddy a little something dark and sheer for a to the Metropolitan Opera in New York City.

The duo showed up in black, Mischa wearing an interesting frock designed by Posen. I feel that if it had a few less gauzy black frills around the neck and sleeves, it might not look like she's on her way to a mafioso's funeral.

Since her wisdom tooth health scare, Mischa Barton has been busy in New York City promoting her new television series, The Beautiful Life, and taking in various fashion shows during the spring 2010 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

In addition to having constant supervision to help her with her sobriety, the actress says her pets have been a source of stability in her life. Barton tells People magazine, "All kinds of things keep me grounded. My dogs and having to wake up and walk them every morning and having to walk them before bed at night."

That's kind of how I feel about my hamsters.
