If you're reading this,  there is every chance in the universe that you have seen flashes, and headlines all over the internet about this weekends HUGE, (I had to use caps, 'cause this movie is soooo big), HUGE record breaker, 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon'.  Even my cat Johnny Cash knows about it. And all he does is sleep.

The film had the third-biggest North American opening weekend for any movie in history. The Twilight Saga: New Moon opened on an estimated $140.7m. Only The Dark Knight - still the champ on $158.4m - and Spider-Man 3 on $151.1m have delivered bigger debuts and both of those were on more screens: 4,366 and 4,252 respectively, compared to 4,024 for Bella Swan and Edward Cullen.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon star, Alex Meraz, knows that a pair of fitted jeans and a leather jacket is a good look on him. So here he is again, stepping out to the 2009 American Music Awards at the Nokia Center in Los Angeles in his favorite outfit.

Meraz adds a little flair with his turquoise ring and square watch, as he gives a big smile and sexy eyes to the camera.

The New Moon holy trinity visited Jimmy Kimmel last night. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner appeared on the show and even answered some questions from fans in the audience. The three of them have some much natural chemistry together. It's fun to see them play off one another.

Well all of the hype and massive promotional tour by the cast of New Moon is the reason why the film is breaking records. The film broke the record for a midnight showing sales in U.S. and Canada - $26.3 million. Now it's all but certain that the film will also break the record for single-day domestic ticket sales with more than $70 million. The previous record was set by The Dark Knight with $67.2 million.

I'm hoping that the holy trinity got some nice back end deals.

US Weekly is reporting Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart skipped out on Thursday's official New Moon afterparty. Instead of partying with the rest of the New Moon cast, including Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Peter Facinelli, and Elizabeth Reaser, at the Manhattan club The Box, the two were spotted at the members-only club Soho House with friend and cast member Taylor Lautner.

The alleged couple then ventured to Avenue and sat at a table in the mezzanine surrounded by security and was joined by Joan Jett, who is portrayed by Kristen in the upcoming film The Runaways.

An "eyewitness" reports Rob enjoyed the music at the club, singing along to several songs. Yet another "eyewitness" reports the couple "sat very close to each other [and] looked very happy together. They chatted together the entire time" and when leaving at 3am, "they were holding hands."

First let me start by saying I love love love Twilight and I regularly pray that Rob has an epiphany, ventures across the Hudson River, and sweeps me off my feet. With my unhealthy fascination with the sexy vamp it is no surprise New Moon broke all records for midnight movie runs raking in an estimated $26.3 million. $12.50 of that giant chunk of change was contributed by yours truly! Though, if anyone from Summit is reading this, I would greatly appreciate reimbursement of my hard earned dollars.

New Moon was by far one of the worst movies I have ever seen in all my years on this earth. It was beyond disappointing as I have been anticipating the release of this film for months! This film butchered a book I truly adore.

My suggestion is everyone on that set hire an acting coach ASAP and save Breaking Dawn from the same fate. Filming for Eclipse has wrapped and nothing can salvage that film which I anticipate is just as bad. 

On the bright side, a trailer for Remember Me, a film staring Rob, was shown prior to New Moon and it looks amazing. I read the screenplay for Remember Me and bawled my eyes out! I highly recommend seeing it when it's released.

It has been a hell of a week, folks, since the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon in Los Angeles earlier in the week, and Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been relying on one another for support to get through it all--the red carpets and the talk shows--and of course, all of it while being constantly photographed.

This gallery contains over 200 photos of the entire cast this past week, who are looking at a weekend that has already made a splash at the box office with advance ticket sales.

Aww, it's fun to wax nostalgic. Doesn't Monday seem like a lifetime ago?

Man, those Twilight kids are pretty "love 'em, and leave 'em" when it comes to film directors. Recently, Robert Pattinson expressed a desire for Gus Van Sant to direct the final Twilight installment, Breaking Dawn.

Similarly, New Moon vampire, Jamie Campbell Bower suggested that Tim Burton would be a good fit to helm the film, telling MTV News, "I think he'd screw around with it quite a lot, and aesthetically, I think it'd be incredibly different." Nikki Reed agrees and suggests, "Tim Burton, Woody Allen. I'm aiming high right now."

Ashley Greene, agreed with the Burton suggestion by saying, "The fourth one's a little odd, a little weird, and I definitely think that Tim Burton would put an amazing spin on it." Am I the only one rooting for John Waters? Don't look at me like that--it could be interesting.

Movie critics haven't been nearly as excited about The Twilight Saga: New Moon as fans. Roger Ebert says of the film's characters, "Their charisma is by Madame Tussaud." The Los Angeles Times laments that lack of chemistry between Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart while USA Today thinks that KStew and Robert Pattinson's relationship is the one that suffers the most.

Regardless, fans have flocked to the theater, effectively breaking the record for most advance sales of any film ever. New Moon is expected to earn more than $85 million for its opening weekend. Meanwhile, Kristen and Rob are doing their best not let the sparks fly off-screen, seen here leave a lounge in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan separately.

While celebrities seemed to shy away from the Los Angeles premiere of New Moon, this was not the cast at the The Twilight Saga: New Moon screening hosted by The Cinema Society & D&G in New York City.

It was a pretty hip crowd. Jessica Szohr, Katie Lee Joel, Taylor Momsen, Howard Stern, Jessica Stam, Kenneth Cole, Alison Mosshart, Ivanka Trump, Amber Rose, Patrick Wilson, Natalie Portman, Lydia Heast, Agyness Deyn, Rachel Roy, Justin Tuck, Veronica Webb, Beth Ostrosky, Sarah Winter, Ed Westwick, Joan Jett, Justin Kirk, Abigail Breslin, Dan Abrams, Emma Roberts, Fergie, Eric Mabius, Trey Songz and Alexa Chung all joined the New Moon cast for the screening of the film.

Well, tonight is the night. New Moon is finally here! A least we don't have to wait another whole year until Eclipse debuts in theaters.

The last major U.S. event for New Moon is taking place tonight in New York City with a screening of New Moon. Although Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart (check out Kristen's green dress in the gallery) and Taylor Lautner do have a few more talk show appearances yet to air.
