These pictures taken of Nicole Richie last month, out at brunch with daughter, Harlow Madden, seem to reveal that she's not in the best of moods. So maybe it's not surprising that the reality TV star would develop a nagging cold that would result in a trip to the hospital.

Richie recently posted on her Twitter page, "ok cold, it's been 6 days. Lets part ways graciously & keep it moving." Now, her rep confirms to People that Richie checked into the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for treatment of pneumonia and as of today is "doing well."

It's a shame that she's got that restraining order on those photographers, could she could totally sneeze on them now.

A Los Angeles judge ruled Friday that photographers, Eduardo Arrivebene and Ivon Miguel, have to temporarily stay 100 yards away from Nicole Richie and her two children. Last month Arrivebene rear ended Richie's car, for which he was arrested immediately after the crash for driving without a license.

In Richie's filing, she claims, "I am fearful that [their] continued presence may cause yet another accident, this time with my infant children in the vehicle." Nicole also states that the two photographers regularly "stalk" the reality TV starlet and "scream at me in an attempt to get my reaction, scare me, follow me, chase me in [their] vehicle."

Richie also says the shutterbugs "sit outside my house, waiting for me to leave." Well, at least she's got them off her back...for now. Maybe they'll just start following Paris Hilton around. She wouldn't mind.

Doing their best to keep breakup rumors at bay, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel walked hand-in-hand to take in the Jay-Z concert at the Pauley Pavillion in Los Angeles. The couple appeared somber as they marched their way past paparazzi.

Always one to have a gorgeous lady on his arm, James Blunt showed up with a mystery blond sporting bright red lipstick and a smile.

DJ Samantha Ronson was flying solo to the event, as was mother-of-two, Nicole Richie. It's nice to see that Nicole is still sporting some post-baby curves, while Samantha is still looking skinny as ever.

And who wouldn't?  Babies are totally cute and never yell at you for not washing the dishes (I was busy, dammit!).  Oh right, babies.

Many beautiful celebrities turned up for the March of Dimes Celebration of Babies luncheon yesterday to recognize celebrity breeders and honoring those helping March of Dimes to keep all babies healthy.

As you can see, preeminent sexy-lady, Halle Berry was there looking, well, sexy.  Sadly, her daughter Nahla wasn't in attendance, who is seriously cuter than puppies wearing bunny costumes (is there anything cuter than that?).

Nicole Richie, one of the events planners, was also there, and I just have to say that homegirl has put on some weight and she looks great!  This is the first time in recent history that she doesn't look like Jack Skellington.  Work it, girl!

Other famous types in attendance were Nicole Sullivan, Kelli Martin, Elizabeth Rohm, and Julie Bowden.

Fully supportive of his girlfriend's fashion endeavors, Joel Madden recently gushed to People magazine about Nicole Richie's snazzy dress sense.

Madden confesses, "I love Nicole's style. She's the coolest person I've ever met, and she doesn't try at all." While he doesn't quite represent the her target demographic for Nicole's women's clothing line, Richie responded with an appreciative, "Thanks, honey!"
 
Joel describes her designs as "bohemian rock and roll, hippie, sexy and comfortable clothes for women." He forgot to add "super-skinny" before the word "women."

It's been a little over a month since Nicole Richie gave birth to her little boy, Sparrow James Midnight Madden, but this young mother of two appears to be a dynamo of energy. At the Beyond Shelter Playground ribbon cutting, Richie and her man, Joel Madden, showed off their humanitarian side.

And recently, Nicole displayed her entrepreneurial spirit by revealing a new clothing line. The Winter Kate collection is inspired by the reality TV starlet's own wardrobe. Nicole explains her personal style by saying, "I probably wear the same two pairs of jeans every day as the background to a fabulous top. Bed jackets are a staple of my wardrobe because they are a gorgeous way to give jeans and a white T-shirt a completely different look."

She's confident that ladies will enjoy the designs, "The pieces can be dressed up, made casual, but most importantly, they provide the wearer a means of self-expression and fun." That sounds compelling, but I doubt she has anything in my size.

Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden hit the red carpet Sunday night for the 1st Annual The Noble Awards, which took place at the Beverly Hills Hilton.

Celebrities who will accept awards on behalf of the charities being honored include Laila Ali (Women's Sports Foundation), Billy Bush (Lollipop Theater Network), Kenny Edmonds (Stand Up to Cancer), Teri Hatcher (Childrens Hospital Los Angeles), Norman Lear (Playing for Change), Joel Madden (The Art of Elysium), Annalynne McCord (The Blind Project), Nancy O'Dell (Best Buddies), Eva Longoria Parker (Padres Contra El Cancer) and Brett Ratner (DoSomething.org). During the ceremony, each will be presented with an award sculpture, designed by Antonio Banderas, with personal touches added by children who participated in The Art of Elysium workshop at the Shriner's Hospital for Children. Brian McKnight and Julio Iglesias, Jr., along with Emily Bear and Timothy Mitchum will provide live musical performances throughout the evening.

It was a mommy and me Sunday morning for Nicole Richie and 21 month old daughter Harlow Madden. The mother and daughter headed to Jerry's Famous Deli for a little breakfast.

It looks as if Nicole has lost her patience with the paparazzi after her run in, pun intended, and is seen demanding some space. You go girl. Check out all the photos of the two in the gallery.

Luckily Nicole Richie left the kids at home. Richie was rear-ended by a paparazzi who was arrested as a result of the accident.

"She was rear-ended," BHPD Lt. Tony Lee tells E! News, adding that the accident occurred around 2 p.m. "There was a complaint of pain injury. She told officers at the scene that she's going to seek her own medical treatment."

There was only minor damage to her car, and no ambulance was called to the scene.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are spotted leaving the Selena Gomez show at The Roxy in West Hollywood with their guest through the backdoor. Nicole, not surprisingly is still looking as thin as she was before she became pregnant.

The Hills star Lauren Bosworth was seen outside of the concert as well. The poor thing was alone.
