[PHOTO GALLERY] Los Premios MTV 2009 Latin Music Awards Red Carpet




Latino's and plenty of non-Latino's hit the red carpet for the Los Premios MTV 2009 Latin America Awards held at Gibson Amphitheatre this evening in Universal City, California.

Ashley Tisdale, Alessandra Ambrosio, Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, Nelly Furtado, Audrina Patridge, Dave Navarro, Allison Iraheta and Drake Bell all hit the red carpet.

MTV will roll its raucous red carpet across continents with its eighth annual Los Premios MTV honouring the best of the year's pop, rock and reggaeton from across Latin America.

The multi-city awards show culminates Thursday evening in Los Angeles after kicking off in September with six of 27 awards presented at regional events in Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Bogota.

Canadian singer Nelly Furtado (go easy on that makeup sweetie) and Calle 13's Residente will host the show. Launch the gallery to check out all the red carpet fashions!

Mark Hoppus Shaves Off Pete Wentz's Trademark Locks




A live performance of Fall Out Boy was apparently the perfect time for Pete Wentz to receive a haircut from Blink 182's Mark Hoppus.

Declaring the buzz cut to be the "death of the Emo haircut," Wentz sat down with a red Dixie cup and patiently waited while Hoppus shaved off his signature black, flat-ironed hairdo while his bandmates continued performing.



Freshly shorn, Wentz posted on his Twitter account, "I am more aerodynamic." Speaking of aerodynamic, where was I when FOB's Patrick Stump lost all that weight?

NFL Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Concert




Performing on-stage at the NFL Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Concert were Fall Out Boy, backbend-loving Rihanna and Lifehouse (Or is it Lifeboat? I can't even remember...) and Jerry O'Connell stepping up to take on hosting duties.

Kim Kardashian was there, looking all kinds of shiny black and...that wig looks familiar. OK, maybe it's her real hair, but familiar nonetheless. Oh yes, but back to shiny black--Ri-Ri sure loves her leather, doesn't she? Any excuse to whip out the fishnets and the cow-hide pantaloons.

Let's play some Super Bowl! Do some touchdowns and give some tackles!

News Bites: Cameron Diaz Still With Her Model




-It's nice to know that this one (British model Paul Sculfor) seems to be working out for Cameron Diaz. And respect to any man that can put up with her weed giggles, and love of her own b.o., and her "wacky personality." That can't be a day at the damn beach. Then again, he used to be with Aniston so he could still be shell-shocked by a girl who's not ordering him to fill up a turkey baster every three seconds. Here they are looking bundled up and cutesy while checking out the shops in NYC.

-Pete Wentz and his Fall Out Boy cohort Patrick Stump tried to to play a free two-man concert in NYC's Washington Square Park the other day, but the cops weren't having it because they didnt get a permit. So Stump sang a capella while Wentz played air guitar. Well, it was free. Anyway, police almost pounced on sexual blabbermouth Wentz when he went for his guitar case by the crisis was averted.

-FremantleMedia, who created crazyfest American Idol, are suing a strip joint called the Palazio Men's Club in Texas for hosting a whore competition called "Stripper Idol." It's a copywright suit. The girls compete to win $500. Frankly, I'm a dyed in the wool homo and that sounds better than the actual show. Pitchers of beer and acrobatic sex workers. Sign me up!
