Victorious Reese Witherspoon Talks Softball Love Triangle

Though filming for Reese Witherspoon's upcoming romantic comedy finished on Saturday, the project reportedly still doesn't have a name. However, Witherspoon recently chatted with MTV Movies to give more details about the plot of the romantic comedy.

"Owen Wilson and Paul Rudd are both my love interests and I'm a professional softball player. And two-time Olympian, so I've been working out a lot," Witherspoon explains. And it seems like her hard work has paid off because Reese looks quite victorious in these photos.

I'd say spoiler alert, but come on, what protagonist doesn't win in sports movies?

Paul Rudd "Feels Pretty Gay"

Paul Rudd opened up to Entertainment Weekly about his admiration and respect for gay men (lesbians are suspiciously absent from his blanket observations about homosexuality. hm.).

In response to those pesky reporter questions about I Love You, Man -- the bromance about male bonding starring Rudd and Jason Segel -- he decided to just embrace his homo tendencies with open jazz hands. What's he got to lose?

"I always thought I'd be a really good gay guy. I love American Idol. I watch Antiques Roadshow like crazy. Guys like Oscar Wilde, Stephen Fry, Elton John - they're all very bright, with a razor-sharp wit. David Sedaris - who's funnier than David Sedaris? The Saturday Night Live that I hosted was such a gay-heavy show. But it didn't even cross my mind until after. The family that kept kissing each other - I didn't even think of that as being gay... I remember doing interviews for The Object of My Affection, and people would say, 'What was it like to kiss a guy?' Like it was such a shocking thing. I said, How many times does anyone ask, 'You had to shoot somebody. Was that weird?' I love gay guys. I feel pretty gay. I'm certainly not the most macho guy in the room. "

Now all those frat boy stories of him "always wanting to get naked" make a bit more sense.

Reese Witherspoon Celebrates Birthday With Monsters And Aliens

The lovely and talented Reese Witherspoon celebrated her 33rd birthday today at the premiere (hopefully the last one) for her new movie Monsters vs. Aliens. The Legally Blonde actress joined up with co-star Seth Rogen, as the pair greeted fans and posed for pictures at the Gibson Amphitheatre on the Universal City grounds.

Witherspoon voices the character of Susan, a girl-next-door, who is struck on her wedding day by an energy-packed meteor that causes her to grow to 49-feet-11.

"It definitely is the most action-packed movie I've ever been in," Witherspoon said in a Canadian exclusive telephone interview. "(Being animated) makes it a lot easier to kick butt. And the best thing is, I didn't have to diet to fit into that cat suit."

Reese only got to work with one of her movie co-stars, Paul Rudd, who voices Susan's colossally egotistical weatherman fiance, Derek Dietl.

"We got to be in the same room together and collaborate for a day, and that was so awesome because he's so funny," Witherspoon says. "He gets to play a really big jerk in this movie and was riffing on it. I'm actually doing my next movie with him (an as-yet-untitled comedy by James L. Brooks)."

Reese Witherspoon and Paul Rudd seem like the perfect team. Looking forward to the movie.

Paul Rudd Loves Getting Naked

Comedic cutie Paul Rudd is playing an uptight character in his new film I Love You Man, who's having trouble getting in touch with his dirtier, more masculine side. And here he is with his co-stars of the film on the red carpet for the premiere. But the reformed frat boy reportedly has never suffered from that particular problem.

An old friend of his revealed in an interview with Time magazine, "He always liked to get naked. Anybody that lived in his fraternity house would tell you. And yes, he is a frat boy, no matter how much he would go screaming from that now."

And that move he did as a backup dancer for Beyoncé in their SNL skit together last November in which he shoots guns with his hands while intermittently slapping his rear end used to be "his preferred method of exiting a room," according to Page Six.

But these days, it seems Paul's a little more shy. Shame.

Jason Segel & Paul Rudd: Bromantic Comedy

Stars of I Love You, Man Paul Rudd and Jason Segel recently chatted about the Vanity Fair photoshoot that had them posing in faux-nude bodysuits with fellow funnymen Jonah Hill and Seth Rogen.

Segel answers the question of why the guys didn't go full frontal. "Those were really close quarters. We were all laying up against each other. I think everyone's fear is that there might be an incident of contact. The next thing you know, you're gonna have a Jason Segel/Jonah Hill baby."

Taking a look at these guys at the I Love You, Man screening and after-party hosted by The Cinema Society and Details, it's clear that this is the right way to have a bromance. Brody Jenner, you taking notes?

Vanity Fair: Bare-Assed Comedy

Remember the issue of Vanity Fair from over three years ago which featured a nude Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley, whose earlobe was being nibbled on by a bare-chested Tom Ford? If not, this set-up with Paul Rudd, Jason Segel, Jonah Hill and Seth Rogen should help job your memory.

Reminiscent of the feature and photoshoot they dedicated to female comedians last year, this issue features various funny guys and gals invoking the images of classic movie icons, from Russell Brand as Charlie Chaplin to real-life comedian couple Will Arnett and Amy Poehler posing as Bonnie & Clyde.

Bad Influences Attend 'Role Models' Premiere

It was kind of a freak show on the red carpet for the comedy Role Models starring Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott. First off, I have to give kudos to Sean William Scott for stretching out his Stifler role from American Pie into a successful career. He's basically been playing the same role for almost ten years now. Cheers to that!

Mary Cary took her celebrity rehabbed self and packaged her giant breasts into a very crazy patterned dress. Between the boobs and the fabric, I'm feeling a little seasick. Gene Simmons and his Brillo-pad-looking black hair showed up with his wife. Have you ever watched his reality TV show? Don't.

I love trashy reality TV and this boring shit put me to sleep. Except when Carrot Top showed up at one point and I felt scared. He looks like a freckled demon of evil.
