Everybody and their brother--including the Jonas Brothers--showed up to the 2009 MTV Europe Awards dressed to the nines. Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas were decked out in their trademark shiny suits while the members of Tokio Hotel opted for a more ostentatious look, as did Pete Wentz with his "black eye."

Hostess for the evening, Katy Perry looked elegant with her dark black locks swept back in a classic updo as she showed off her show-stopping figure in an elegant pale-pink and black gown.

Shakira and Joss Stone both opted for short, flirty frocks, with the Colombian pop star donning a sexy silver mini-dress and the British singer showing off some black knee-high boots with her blue toga dress.

Pete Wentz is one of a handful of celebrities that Activision has tapped to reenact the famous floor-skid underwear scene from Risky Business.

Regarding recreating the classic movie moment from Risky Business, Wentz said it didn't come easily.

"I have a new appreciation for everyone that's done that slide. It's hard to slide into once place and kinda try to look cool and do it on a beat. It's not an easy thing to do. It would change up, 'cause they'd Lysol the floor and it'd be slicker...so sometimes I'd go way too far. And then they put down an adhesive to make sure I wouldn't go too far, and when I hit that, I'd just wipe out...no one's ever gonna do it as well as Tom."

One thing that Pete Wentz has going for him is that he's comfortable in his underwear.

20 years after the historic fall of the Berlin Wall, the MTV Europe Awards will be held at the O2 World Arena in the reunified city. Katy Perry will be playing host for the event, which will play to an audience of 17,000 attendees.

Getting into the spirit of the celebration, costumes for the event have been inspired by the classic film, Cabaret. The singer tells Billboard, "Just like last year, I'm sure I'll have butterflies in my stomach again and will try to give my very best."

While she may have butterflies in her stomach, it looks like Perry had feathers on the rest of her body at a press conference for the event. Looking way more casual were newly shorn Pete Wentz and British singer, Joss Stone.

Latino's and plenty of non-Latino's hit the red carpet for the Los Premios MTV 2009 Latin America Awards held at Gibson Amphitheatre this evening in Universal City, California.

Ashley Tisdale, Alessandra Ambrosio, Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, Nelly Furtado, Audrina Patridge, Dave Navarro, Allison Iraheta and Drake Bell all hit the red carpet.

MTV will roll its raucous red carpet across continents with its eighth annual Los Premios MTV honouring the best of the year's pop, rock and reggaeton from across Latin America.

The multi-city awards show culminates Thursday evening in Los Angeles after kicking off in September with six of 27 awards presented at regional events in Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Bogota.

The most recent Hollywood pairing is between none other than actress Jessica Biel and Fall Out Boy musician, Pete Wentz.

Before you jump to conclusions, however, these two are teaming up together for decidedly unromantic reasons--combatting the global water crisis. Here they are, all dressed up for the press conference for the event, "The Dow Live Earth Run for Water."

According to a press release, the event will mark the largest worldwide water initiative and will consist of a series of 6 km run/walks." The whole thing will take place over 24 hours and the distance represents the average distance a majority of children and women travel to get water.

Meanwhile, Pete looks like he could fit very comfortably in Jessica's pocket.

A live performance of Fall Out Boy was apparently the perfect time for Pete Wentz to receive a haircut from Blink 182's Mark Hoppus.

Declaring the buzz cut to be the "death of the Emo haircut," Wentz sat down with a red Dixie cup and patiently waited while Hoppus shaved off his signature black, flat-ironed hairdo while his bandmates continued performing.



Freshly shorn, Wentz posted on his Twitter account, "I am more aerodynamic." Speaking of aerodynamic, where was I when FOB's Patrick Stump lost all that weight?

Joined by her husband Pete Wentz, and her sister Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson celebrated her 25th birthday at Wet Republic at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas yesterday.

Joe Simpson even made an appearance. There was plenty of cake, and the single Jessica Simpson seemed to playful mood by making funny faces throughout the day.

Let's hope Ashlee wished for better acting skills when she blew out the candles on her cake.

Per usual, most guys were decked out in suits and dress shirts. Except since it's MTV, there were hardly any ties to be found, with top buttons undone. Of course, there was also lots of leather to be seen.

Jack Black really took it to the next level, with his fake giant arm muscles and giant battle axe. Joe Jackson had the nerve to show up to the event, most likely taking the opportunity to promote his record label. He's a real class act, that one.

And as always, Sean Combs was probably the most impeccably dressed guy there, accessorizing with one lady on each side.
