A man wielding a knife was arrested just outside the E! studios, although he never managed to get close to the object of his obsession, Ryan Seacrest, according to E! Online.

Upon entering the lobby, Chidi Uzomah was recognized by E! security as the man who attacked Ryan Seacrest's security last month just outside a charity event. As a result, Uzomah was sentenced to 15 days in jail and three years probation.

Currently, Chidi is being held by Los Angeles police, while his Pontiac Firebird remains on the E! studio lot. He been taken in for questioning by the Threat Management Unit. Sounds like he'll be having a fun Halloween.

The event was extravagant! With a price tag of $1.5 million, and with 400 guest in attendance, Simon Cowell better have thrown a swanky party.

Pre-recorded birthday wishes from the likes of the Beckhams and Jennifer Aniston were displayed on giant screens. The venue, a palladian mansion set in 2,500 acres, is a 30-minute drive from Central London and was lit with hundreds of scented candles.

Ryan Seacrest, Ant McPartlin, Amanda Holdin, Chris Hughes, Danni Minogue, Gordon Ramsey, Cheryl Cole, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Terri Seymour, Randy Jackson and Julie Cowell were on hand to help Simon Cowell turn 50-years-old.

Such love emits from those two!

A rep for the 25-year-old reality star confirms exclusively to OK! that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom were wed in the home of family friend and music-industry legend Irving Azoff on Sunday afternoon.

Hundreds of balloons were released into the sky over the ceremony after Khloe, in a gown by Vera Wang, and L.A. Lakers basketball star Lamar said their "I do"s.

It's was kind of a star-studded event. Along with all of the Kardashian's the couple was joined by Ryan Seacrest, Kelly Osbourne, Michael Yo, BaBa, Brittny Gastineau, Sugar Ray Leonard, Kobe Bryant, Luke Worrell, Adrienne Bailon, Phil Jackson, Jillian Barberie Reynolds, Joe Francis, Lara Spencer, Robert Shapiro, LaLa Vazquez, Kathy Hilton, Ron Artest and Babyface.

So a toast to the couple and the many happy months of marriage ahead of them!.

Spencer Pratt, the new self-proclaimed King of America, has chosen American Idol host Ryan Seacrest as his first official beheading. OK, so maybe not his beheading, but Spencer is not pleased with Mr. Seacrest at all.

MTV News reports that on Wednesday Ryan asked listeners of his radio show to call in which reality television stars they would like to see get tasered. This was in reference to reality star Brody Jenner, who got tased in a bar fight last week. When Ryan talked about maybe tasing The Hills star and Spencer's wife Heidi Montag, Spencer was "disgusted."

First he took to his Twitter to yell at Ryan through the internet, and then followed that up with the release of a formal statement on Ryan's comments. "I'm disgusted and horrified that Ryan Seacrest would find it amusing and entertaining to have his listeners call in about tasing anyone. What's next, Ryan -- guns and knives? Waterboarding? It is irresponsible and offensive for someone with your platform to promote violence on this level. For someone who produces reality content, I'm shocked that you'd encourage people to tase reality stars. Would it be funny to you if one of your Kardashians got tased? Is that how you treat your talent, Ryan? Finding humor in violence is disgusting. For someone who pretends to be mister clean-cut America, you really should be ashamed. Any reasonable person knows that a Taser isn't a Super Soaker and can cause immediate death. I expect an apology not to just us, but to people everywhere for using your public voice to spread violence."

As you can tell, Spencer is not happy about this at all. Heidi had a lot less to say though. She took to her Twitter with two posts. In the first she wrote, "I am praying for your soul @RyanSeacrest!" And in the second she linked to Spencer's statement and wrote, "I love my husband! Thank you."

I have an idea. Let's taser Spencer. Oh crap, now he's going to get mad at me, isn't he? Oh well. At least the two of them won't be having any children that they can ruin. Small victories everyone, small victories. And now if we can just get Spencer to please take off that awful crown and go live in a small hole in a land far, far away and not by a pool in Hollywood, I think we should be good, don' you?

She was just supposed to be there for one round of auditions, but it seems that Victoria Beckham will be filling the fourth American Idol judge seat for a little while longer.

According to reports, the former Spice Girl was in Boston to judge the callbacks for contestants who were invited back for another round. Some have described her as "icy and wooden" but I guess that the people over at American Idol just don't seem to care.

Last week Posh Spice confessed to being nervous about judging, but also excited to see how her banter with judge Simon Cowell would go. Obviously it won't be as much fun as watching Paula Abdul and Simon trying to communicate, but I still think it's probably a little bit entertaining.

American Idol doesn't return for its ninth season until January, but you can be sure that we're gonna be getting constant Idol updates until then. I wonder who they're gonna get as their next celebrity judge? What if Victoria becomes like their permanent new judge? That would be crazy!

After making the announcement that she was leaving American Idol via her Twitter, Paula Abdul has got loads of people begging her to stay. Sources say Paula asked for about $20 million to continue with the show, and when that was not met, she decided not to continue. Although FOX claims that they did not bring on extra host Kara DioGuardi to take over Paula's place, that looks exactly like what is happening.

Ryan Seacrest is also extremely surprised by Paula decision to leave. He said on his KISS FM radio show, "The news stunned me last night. I was shocked. She's a dear friend. I love her to death and am really sad that it came to fruition. I'm just bummed because we've worked together for so many years. It's sad." Ryan also said that there was no way this was a publicity stunt of any kind, and as far as he knew she was leaving the show for good.

Other American Idol folk have taken to their Twitters to beg Paula to come back. This year's winner Kris Allen wrote on his page, "We love you. Glad I was able to be a part of your last season on the show. You showed us so much love." And season 2 contestant Danny Gokey wrote, "I'm really sad 2 see Paula Abdul not coming back 2 Idol. She was the judge with the biggest heart! She really will be missed :("

Some reports suggest that Paula has left American Idol to begin work as a guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance, which is my opinion, would be totally up her alley. She should become like the best SYTYCD judge EVER and make everyone who talked shit about her Idol sad that they let her go! And then she should give out one of those evil laughs! OK, so most of that is my imagination, but it works, right?

There's even a whole "Save Paula" campaign on Twitter. Seriously, what did people do before Twitter? I hope Paula comes back to Idol. She was my favorite. But she won't. Mostly because I just said I want her to and the fates are usually working against me.

With a title like Funny People, it's surprising to see that the latest film from 40-Year-Old Virgin director Judd Apatow branching out from his standard comedy fare.

But as the film's star Eric Bana tells USA Today, "I think he's a director who could direct great drama and he's chosen to do comedy. With this one, he made a great film that is really, really funny as well."

Although the film's premise is quite serious--with Adam Sandler's main character diagnosed with a terminal illness--there's no lack of laughter in the movie. Leslie Mann, who stars in Funny People, admits, "There was a lot of filth. Offensive filth, that wasn't family friendly."

Sounds like a good time was had by all.

Whether or not the tiny, overly-metrosexual reality television host gets under your skin, you have to admit, Ryan Seacrest works his ass off. Not only is the frosted-tipped wonder keeping himself busy hosting gigs on the radio and television, he's also making bank behind the scenes as a reality TV producer.

And his new deal with American Idol will triple his current salary and rocket him to the top spot of all time for a reality TV host. The Hollywood Reporter claims that Seacrest has signed a deal that will have him earning $45 million in the next three years for his gig with the talent competition show.

Now that Ryan's been locked down, HR claims that deals need to be worked out with the rest of the Idol judges. The only wild card, however, will be Simon Cowell. Rumored to be receiving over $100 million per season, rumors indicate that Cowell claims to want to jump ship.

Simon should just follow his heart and allow his pointy nipples to guide him. They have yet to lead him astray.
