Madonna & Penelope Cruz Embrace For 'Broken Embraces' Premiere




Who realized that Spanish actress, Penelope Cruz, was such good buddies with international pop star, Madonna? The twosome looked chummy as they hugged for the cameras at a special dinner party for both Penelope and director, Pedro Almodovar, to celebrate the premiere of their film, Broken Embraces.

The soiree was attended by Penelope's close friend, Salma Hayek, and her billionaire husband, Francois Henri Pinault. Paper magazine threw the event in New York magazine. Yup, everybody was rubbing elbows with one another, including Hollywood legend, Lauren Bacall.

Salma Hayek Talks Potty Training & Being A Working Mom





It's hard to believe that Salma Hayek is already potty-training her daughter, Valentina Pinault, when it seems like just yesterday, the Mexican actress was giving birth to her little one.

In fact, it was back in August 2007 that Salma first returned to her first job after delivering her daughter. The gig was a role as Madame Truska in The Vampire's Assistant, which is set to premiere later this month.

As for how Valentina's doing now, Salma claims her daughter is growing up faster than her mother would like her to. Valentina decided when she was ready to ditch the diapers.

Salma tells Access Hollywood, "She's like, 'Take these off, Mommy. I can go to the bathroom.' But I'm like, 'I don't want you to because I still want you to wear the diaper when we go out because I don't know how to handle the public bathrooms with you. Give me some time.'"

Eva Longoria Sparkles At 2009 ALMA Awards




Looking very much like a teensy silver trophy herself, Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria sizzled in a sparkly silver sheath dress at thie year's ALMA Awards.

The event took place at Royce Hall on the UCLA Campus in Westwood, host to such Latin stars as Salma Hayek, Edward James Olmos and George Lopez.

New mom Salma was stunning in a pale purple, backless mini-dress in a roaring 20s vibe that included dark red lipstick and oversized jewelry.

Her buddy, Penelope Cruz took home a prize for her performance in the Woody Allen flick, Vicky Cristina Barcelona but was a no-show at the event. Hmm, maybe someone didn't have the energy to find a dress that would conceal her baby bump?

Selena Gomez won an award for her series, The Wizards of Waverly Place, for which she recently received an Emmy.

Salma Hayek & Francois Henri Pinault: Married Again!



While Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were legalizing their idiotic union, Salma Hayek was busy having a second wedding of her own on the other side of the world in Venice, Italy to husband Francois-Henri Pinault.

As you can see, this event attracted a far more distinguished caliber of celebrity with such good friends of the couple in attendance as Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Ed Norton, Bono, Ashley Judd, Gael Garcia Bernal and Lily Cole.

The guest list totaled at approximately 150 guests with the couple's 19-month-old daughter Valentina Pinault acting as flower girl. The bride wore Balenciaga and the groom wore a smile.

Salma Hayek's Marriage Masquerade




A sea of beautiful, A-list faces were concealed behind ornately decorated masks at the pre-wedding celebration for the second ceremony planned for couple Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault.

Friday evening, the couple started the festivities after the arrival of most of their best celebrity pals. Friday evening, things started with a grand masquerade-style rehearsal dinner at the historic Punta Della Dogana. Only little Valentina Pinault went maskless for the event, opting instead for pacifier to conceal her mouth.

Some high-profile guests included Stuart Townsend and Charlize Theron, Anna Wintour and model Lily Cole, who used their masks to hide from paparazzi. The event will be followed with the couple's renewing of their vows today at the Palazzo Grassi.

Salma Hayek's Famous Friends Head To Venice For Her Wedding




It was an eclectic mix of celebrities who gathered in Venice to prep for Salma Hayek's second wedding to husband Francois-Henri Pinault. Woody Harrelson, Olivier Martinez and David Blaine all met up at the public square Saint Marco for a cup of coffee and conversation.

Salma's ex-boyfriend Ed Norton is also in town for the nuptials. This second go-round at the altar was planned so that friends could be in attendance.

Hayek and Pinault are hosting a rehearsal dinner today with a ceremony to follow tomorrow at the Palazzo Grassi, where the bride and groom first met at a party in 2006. We're guessing that this time around, the 30 Rock cast won't be present for the honeymoon.

Kanye West, Amber Rose & Pink Take In Stella McCartney Show



Usually, these three sitting in the front seat of the Stella McCartney Fall-Winter 2009 show are the ones entertaining a crowd. So it only makes sense that Pink, Kanye West and girlfriend Amber Rose would choose a front row seat of the catwalk.

Gotta love that chick directly behind Amber, wondering if she should know who she is. Well, she will soon enough. Amber's Kanye's favorite accessory at the moment.

Proud papa Paul McCartney showed his support by attending the show and dilligently taking camera phone pictures while his girlfriend of over a year Nancy Shevell sat by his side. Another couple in attendance were the multi-carat-toting couple Salma Hayek and billionaire hubby Francois Henri Pinault.

Salma Hayek Shows Off Her Massive Wedding Rock




Oblivious smoker Salma Hayek may not have gotten a honeymoon or a big fancy wedding but on-again hubby Francois Henri Pinault more than made up for it by purchasing a wedding ring the size and price of a private island.

The breasty actress looked ready to burst with excitement this morning as she pretended not to notice that every single person at Paris Fashion Week was staring at her enormous new rock.

"She was kind of amused," a guest said of Salma's response to the wedding congratulations showered upon her, knowing they were secretly code for "nice work, girl!"  Meanwhile, Mr. Moneybags looked no less pleased with himself.  In fact, I'm pretty sure he's wearing the same dumb, proud expression a guy gives after you fake an orgasm.  Only, there's nothing fake about this tri-stoned masterpiece.  That thing is like a divine gift from Marilyn Monroe.
