At the 8th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation event, entitled, An Enduring Vision, CNN correspondent, Anderson Cooper, played host. The event was attended by a swarm of Elton's highest profile buddies, including Sharon Stone, who was recognized for her longtime fundraising efforts in the fight to find a cure for AIDS. Never one to be accused of being a wallflower, Sharon strolled the red carpet looking like Carmen Sandiego in a black leather trench, hat and sheer skirt.

Soap star, Susan Lucci, showed off her petite frame in a bright purple dress. She told Entertainment Tonight, "It's a cause that's so worthwhile. So many of us in the entertainment industry know so many people who this will touch."

Courtney Love was dressed in a simple, black gown with a plunging neckline, looking suspiciously appropriate and put-together. Could things be looking up for the troubled rocker? God, let's hope so.

We posted photos of Lindsay Lohan attending Richard Branson's Rock the Kasbah event already, but there were many more celebrities in attendance.

Rock The Kasbah was held at the former Vibiana Cathedral in downtown LA and was described as an evening of 'exotic Moroccan meets old Hollywood glamour'.

Guests such as Paula Abdul, Kristin Cavarlli, Gavin Rossdale, Jenna Elfman, Sharon Stone, Richard Branson, Daisy Fuentes, Lindsay Price, Matt Goss, Charlotte Ross, Steven Strait and Lynn Collins were treated to a lavish dinner, auction and a performance by Estelle and Natasha Bedingfield before dancing until the early hours.

Proceeds from the night go to Branson's Virgin charities and the Eve Branson Foundation, run by Richard Branson's mother, which helps Moroccan women set up small businesses to support their families.

Tickets for the event went for between $750 per person to $15,000 for a V.I.P. table for ten.

For a leading lady in Hollywood, the Entertainment Weekly and Women in Film pre-Emmy party was definitely the place to be.

Everyone from a playful Sharon Stone dressed in black leggings and some killer high-heels to our favorite serial killer's sibling, Dexter star, Jennifer Carpenter, was on hand for the celebration.

Sassy footwear was all the rage with an impressive array of high-heels hitting the red carpet. House star, Olivia Wilde was no exception, towering in a pair of pale mauve pumps.

In a case of he-said, she-said, Sharon Stone is alleged to have lost her temper on a recent flight from Kalispell, Montana to Salt Lake City, Utah.

A witness spilled to Styleist.com, "The flight attendant in Kalispell asked her to gate check her bag and Sharon refused and got into a huge fight with her. They eventually took the bag from her and she screamed at her assistant with her and made a scene during the entire flight."

The source claimed that Stone was then met by Salt Lake City police and was detained, although it's not know if the actress was actually arrested as a result of the incident.

As for Sharon's side of the story, she claims that it was the stewardess who lost her temper and "screamed" at Stone twice about the luggage. A rep for the Salt Lake City Airport claims that the police were present as security at Stone's behest.

Hmm, now this is quite impressive in-flight diva behavior, but Sharon's got a way to go if she wants to impress us.

If you've ever wondered how much it would cost to get a kiss from a vampire, Robert Pattinson has put a price tag on that shit and is selling it to raise money for amFAR's annual Cinema Against AIDS event in Cannes.

An auction for kisses from the 23-year-old Twilight star resulted in two bidders paying $20,000 for a single smooch from the bed-head-sporting star. But just as quickly as he was appeared, he's now gone. The actor has now made his way to Italy, where production for New Moon is taking place.

Of his first time at the Cannes Film Festival, RPattz told People magazine, "I'm been working every day this week so it's pretty exhausting, but it's just as glamorous as I expected." Let's hope the kisses turn out as glamorous as expected.

The evening brought together lesbians, bisexual women and their supporters together for an incredible evening of dining, dancing and celebrating the achievements of women who are making a difference in our community. It's also an evening with extraordinary entertainment.

Funds raised at An Evening With Women support a wide range of women's programming at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, including women's health, legal assistance, domestic violence prevention & education, and cultural programs designed especially for women.

Ha! Sharon Stone is personally welcoming Mariah Carey into the cougar club as she hangs all over the singer who recently turned 40.

At a lavish soiree celebrating the opening of a new resort in Cape Town in South Africa, Sharon wrapped her arm around Mariah and appeared to make the velvet-voiced singer highly uncomfortable as Sharon made sure to get photographic evidence of their meeting.

Of course, everyone is all smiles. But little does anyone know, this is a power-play being displayed by two wild cougars. Through her giant Cheshire cat grin, Mariah is telling Sharon, "If I see you within 500 feet of Nick, I will rip out your intestines, DEAR."
