Last week, Tara Reid stripped naked and bore her American pie, all the while knowing that photographers were there to get it all on film.  No, she wasn't wasted and getting out of a cab without panties; in fact, she was "working."   Reid will be featured in Playboy's December issue (aka the "Celebrity Issue").  It is a bold and hopeful move to revitalize her dwindling career; "bold" in the sense that she's decided to pose nude despite botched plastic surgery, and "hopeful" in the sense that she's praying to get Marge Simpson's airbrush artist who worked magic for Playboy's November cover.

Hope little Tara didn't get her heart set on the cover shot.  She's got tough competition.

Cut to the most scandalous housewife of last season's Bravo hit, The Real Housewives of New York City: Amazonian and perpetually über-tan, Kelly Killoren Bensimon.  The sometimes-model/sometimes-mother/sometimes-troublemaker will also be featured in the Playboy Celebrity Issue.

Now, I'm no magazine magnate, but if I had to make a quick pick based on whom would sell more copies of Playboy if put naked on the cover?  Well, Tara said it herself, "There are problems with my stomach.  There are bumps on it, it's uneven... My stomach scars are my battle wounds."  On the other hand, Kelly's statuesque physique is almost impossible to cut up.  Just ask her.

I never thought say this, but I'm rooting for Tara Reid.  I'm not sure she can take another ego blow without descending into a viscous spiral involving bronzer, booze, and a speed dial to her plastic surgeon.

Well well. Tara Reid has chosen to pose nude for Playboy magazine. The question is, how much Photoshop will have to be used to cover up the botched liposuction procedure Tara had in 2004?

In Touch Weekly reports that Tara posed entirely nude for the popular magazine at a private residence earlier this week in Santa Monica, CA.

The "actress" seemed to let go of the nerves as the day went on. "She was a bit insecure about her body when they first started," says an insider. "She looked great and finally got into the groove."

Tara had said in the past that she would never pose for Playboy, saying, "I know there are problems with my stomach. There are bumps on it, it's uneven, but it's not that bad. My stomach scars are my battle wounds."

Famous last words Tara. So are people going to buy the issue out of curiosity, because we've already seen the boob.

Celebrities always try and keep their face looking fabulous. After all, it's the thing that most people recognize and it's what is going to show up on a huge movie screen. So it's no wonder that they go to great lengths to protect it.

One great way to protect against the harmful rays of the sun? Hats! Celebrities love hats. Wearing hats, buying hats, eating things from hats...probably not the last one, but you get the pictures. Hats are often paired with sunglasses to prevent the paparazzi, but as well as know that usually never works.

We've compiled a list for you of some of our celebrities looking fabulous with a brim atop their head. My personal favorite is the picture of George Hamilton. Yes, he's in the snow, but I love seeing the tanned man, in the cold, wearing a hat.

Am I dreaming, or is that Tara Reid refusing a cocktail?

Saint Tropez is being very good to Tara Reid. The starlet is still on vacation withe her German boyfriend, Michael Axtmann. The couple did a little relaxing on Robert Cavalli's yacht.

She spent some more time on the beach as well as doing a little jet skiing. Thankfully she didn't seem drunk at all. Good for her!

Steadfast party girl, Tara Reid, is has been spending time out in St. Tropez with her new German boyfriend, Michael Axtmann.

Sporting her trademark raccoon eyes, a thin headband, tiny, ripped denim shorts and a drunken smile, the starlet looked rather wobbly as she surveilled the many bottles of champagne sitting in front of her.

Once she noticed the paparazzi, Tara's mood quickly changed as she started wagging a threatening finger at photos. Lucky for them, though, Tara was quickly distracted with a hug from her boyfriend. Or a shiny object. Most likely a crushed beer can.

We new a stint to rehab just wouldn't take in Tara Reid's case. Tara Reid and her boyfriend partied the night away in Cannes and Tara got DRUNK! Unless she's just "acting" in these photos.

The funny part about all of this, was at least Tara remembered to wear underwear for her evening out. Her friend didn't, and of course the paparazzi caught an upskirt of her friend's business.

Does that make Tara Reid the classy one?

It's been a celebrity fest out in Palm Desert, what with A-list couple Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon strolling hand in hand at the 2009 Coachella Music Festival. But a couple can't run on love alone, so here they are nibbling on a bite of food.

Not to be outdone, David Hasselhof is getting his romancing on as well. Decked out in a camouflage top, the Baywatch sar looked more than happy to engage in PDA with his new girlfriend at the music festival.

Kate Bosworth and boyfriend James Rousseau were also making eyes at each other at the music event. There was definitely something in the air...besides the obvious.
