James Franco and Mila Kunis Parody "The Hills"

Oh, what would "The Hills" be without pensive looks and awkward dialogue? Well, when James Franco does a hilarious impersonation of the disgusting Justin Bobby and Mila Kunis perfectly mimics Audrina Patridge's vacant looks in the latest short from FunnyorDie.com, you start to get the picture. Oh, but it's not all fun and games with this "Hills" parody. The bit ends with the message that "Without Writers... There's Only Reality," giving us a scary glimpse into the short-term future of television. Damn you Will and your secret hidden political agenda! Oh, wait I totally agree.

All in all, I have to say this is a good one, but my personal favorite of recent FunnyorDie videos is "Green Machine" with Will Ferrell.

Interview with TV Guide Award Winner Laura Howard

Unfortunately, TV Guide canceled its Online Video Awards ceremony and television special, due to the writers strike. Nevertheless they did announce the winners of their inaugural awards on Monday and in addition to Steve Carell, Ellen DeGeneres, Funny or Die and The Office walking away as winners, my good friend Laura Howard won as well! Here's an interview with Laura, days before before winning TV Guide's Best Web Actress award.

Laura was awarded Best Web Actress for her work on the Michael Eisner-backed web series, "Prom Queen," and was nominated alongside Illeana Douglas ("Supermarket of the Stars"), Jessica Lee Rose ("LonelyGirl15"), and Pearl from the FunnyorDie.com videos that she did with Will Ferrell ("The Landlord" and "Good Cop Bad Cop"). We all sort of figured Pearl was the front runner, so it was a very exciting morning on Monday when my boyfriend saw the results and broke the good news to Laura!

Movie Buzz for Nov. 26th, 2007: Weekend Box Office & "Cloverfield" Trailer

This Monday's "Movie Buzz" provides a quick run-down of the Thanksgiving weekend's top-grossing movies, and presents to you the much-anticipated trailer to J.J. Abrams new movie, "Cloverfield."

Celebrity Photo Mix with Molly Shannon, Paris Hilton, Rachel Bilson and More

Stars are just like us! They eat bananas, pose next to toilets and promote fragrances! The only difference is that they're famous and so it's amazing when they do it! This week's "Celebrity Photo Mix" features Molly Shannon, Jude Law, Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, Rufus Wainwright, some Munchkins, Hayden Panettiere with someone else's baby, Amy Winehouse and her young clone, striking stars, Alicia Keys not allowing anything to get in the way of what she's feeling, and more.

Stars of "Men in Trees" Picket in Support of the WGA

John Amos & Currie Graham of "Men in Trees" Picket for the WGA Writer's Strike.

With the strike moving into it's third week and no scheduled talks to be held, it looks like this could run at least into the new year. ACK! Not good. I need my "Office" fix. Check out the WGA affiliated site UnitedHollywood.com to see what you can do to help move the industry toward a resolution.

Lily Tomlin Interview from the Writer's Strike

Lily Tomlin held a little impromptu press conference in the middle of the WGA picket lines earlier this week to share her views on the current writers striking scenario. And if you were hoping for a "I Heart Huckabees"-type video--sorry, David Russell wasn't available to throw things at her, whilst swearing like an irate sailor.

When we first spotted Lily in the crowd, she looked right at me (or at least I thought she did), which prompted me to lose complete control of my hand. All I could muster was a little wave. It was totally that "oh-we're-old-friends-but can't-talk-now" wave. After getting some weird looks from the people around her, I regained control of my body and lowered my arm, feeling a little stup--hold on--I have a phone call. It's Lily--we're meeting for lunch so I have to take this.

If you missed them, be sure to check out more of our video interviews from the picket lines with Kathy Griffin, Sarah Silverman, Jay Leno, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and more.

EXCLUSIVE: "Mad Men" Picket for WGA Writer's Strike

You guys know that we've been all about promoting AMC's original series, "Mad Men" here on A Socialite's Life, so imagine my joy when I turned around and ran into two stars from the cable series, Rich Sommer and Vincent Kartheiser. I was even more surprised at how much fun these guys were having standing in the sun with their picket signs, cheerfully promoting their cause.

EXCLUSIVE: Jon Cryer Wants You To Send Pencils

Duckie's on strike! OK not really, but he is in full support of the WGA Writers Strike. Even turning down an appearance on Ellen! We caught up with Jon Cryer while he took a break from picketing and grabbed a little shade in front of Universal Studios in Hollywood. Jon speaks on the status of his show, why the strike is important and what you as fans can do to help.

On actors day today of the WGA strike, many famous faces showed up to provide support to the writers striking outside of the various studios in Hollywood. ASL stopped by to chat with Sarah Silverman, Kathy Griffin and Laura Silverman to get their take on the strike and what they'd like you to know about it. Also, at the very beginning, when Lisa appears extremely awkward, it's because Sarah Silverman totally touched her boob, when helpfully removing a stray hair that had drifted from Lisa's head to her chest. It was a triumph for everyone today--the writers, actors and Lisa's boobs.
