Just a day after arriving back from Vancouver where Zac Efron was filming The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, Zac got together with an old friend. He was spotted with Ashley Tisdale leaving Patty's restaurant after having lunch together in Burbank, CA.

I wonder where Vanessa Hudgens was?

Having wrapped up production on his film The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, Zac Efron is pictured at the Vancouver International Airport yesterday afternoon.

While in Vancouver, Efron was walking past Covenant House's crisis shelter last week in Vancouver with actress girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, when he struck up a conversation with a young man at the shelter. "He was quite genuinely interested," said Michelle Clausius, the group's associate communications director.

The youth asked for an autograph, but Efron didn't have anything to sign with and the two parted ways. The next day, said Clausius, Efron's assistant dropped off a signed photo for the youth at Covenant House's front desk.

"There was a genuine quality to it," she said. "It was encouraging ... It was really respectful and compassionate."

Very sweet.

This couple has been laying VERY low lately. Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron took in a Vancouver Giants hockey game in Vancouver, Canada. Vanessa, wearing a Giants jersey with her name on the back, cheered on the team as they beat the Prince George Cougars 8-0.

Afterwards the couple, along with a few friends went out for dinner at Cobre for some nuevo Latin cuisine. This is the first time Zac and Vanessa have been photographed together while in Vancouver.

Soon-to-be 22-year-old Zac Efron posed for a photoshoot and interview with magazine, Nylon Guys. During his chat, the young actor discussed his reaction to seeing his film, Me and Orson Welles, for the first time.

According to Efron, "It's the first time I've ever watched a movie [that I'm in] and in the end I'm like, 'OK! I didn't check my watch once!'"

While the tween heartthrob readily admits to having a musical upbringing, claiming that he was "constantly singing" as a child, he doesn't necessarily think every celebrity needs to cut an album. Efron cautions, "If your heart's not in it, don't do it. And don't do it for money. That's my philosophy."

It's clear that High School Musical heartthrob, Zac Efron, has bulked up recently for his most mature role in the film The Life and Death of Charlie St. Cloud.

In these scenes on set, the actor pretends to fly a miniature, radio-controlled plane on the lake in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The star was spotted snacking in between takes, most likely getting his protein fix to maintain his muscular physique. With his trademark floppy haircut long gone, the star is almost unrecognizable as a young Disney Channel star.

Celebrities always try and keep their face looking fabulous. After all, it's the thing that most people recognize and it's what is going to show up on a huge movie screen. So it's no wonder that they go to great lengths to protect it.

One great way to protect against the harmful rays of the sun? Hats! Celebrities love hats. Wearing hats, buying hats, eating things from hats...probably not the last one, but you get the pictures. Hats are often paired with sunglasses to prevent the paparazzi, but as well as know that usually never works.

According to News of the World, so take this with a grain of salt, Vanessa Hudgens reportedly announced that she and Zac Efron are engaged.

"We haven't set a date and if we did we'd keep it secret for as long as possible," said Vanessa, 20. "Why? What if one of us was offered a major film part? Then we'd have to postpone our marriage and people would say we'd split up. And we don't want that."
