What happens when you get a little too clingy and touchy feely? You tend to drive people away. That's exactly what Summer Glau's boyfriend Daniel Wisler is guilty of. According to one of our spies the couple was spotted hanging out at Birds on Franklin in Los Angeles, and Daniel was all over Summer and she wasn't having any of it. He kept caressing her and rubbing her shoulders, and she did not look pleased.

Last night I was lucky enough to attend the Hollywood Life Magazine Young Hollywood Awards -- and it was full of the hottest up-and-coming stars, as well as some classic veterans of the screen.
Seen on the video above are a few interviews, including Taylor Swift, who received the biggest honor of the night -- the 'Superstar of Tomorrow' award. She was such a gracious recipient, and happy to answer a quick question for us about her upcoming album.
One of my favorites of the night was Thomas Dekker, who received one of the six 'One to Watch' awards of the evening for his role in 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.'
Thomas also receives the honor of being my most awkward interview of the night. I don't watch 'Terminator,' and I must have missed the episodes of 'Heroes' he was in. But the guy was a good sport, and he likes to laugh at things that are minimally funny. So I felt I should laugh with him, to make the situation that much more awkward for both of us.
ANTM alum Adrianne Curry is also in the clip above, and she shared her fashion tactics with us and passed along how we could get our hands on her hand-me-downs.
The show started a whopping hour and a half late, so I was able to get inside and catch the whole thing. Of course that means a lot of the stars were waiting for a long time, and indulged themselves with quite a few cocktails before taking the stage. Definitely made the awards show much more interesting.

One of our spies spotted Lindsay Lohan doing a little shopping at American Rag in Los Angeles yesterday afternoon at around 3:30 p.m. She was shopping with a skinny disheveled male friend, and looked slightly bored while checking out sunglasses. She purchased something, left the store with a friend and got into his black Mercedes. He pulled the car right up in front of American Rag and got out and took a box into the store. Lindsay stayed in the car and texted on her Blackberry with a cigarette dangling out of her mouth for a good five minutes. Once her friend returned to the car, they drove off.

EXCLUSIVE: Angelina Jolie Pregnancy Hoax!
It has been revealed that Angelina's purported pregnancy is nothing more than an attempt to raise awareness for a humanitarian cause near and dear to the actress' heart. Jolie's swollen belly is a prosthesis that she has been wearing and she has been doing so as part of her plan to raise awareness about the displaced refugees in Iraq.
The actress coordinated the revelation of her "baby bump" at the Oscars in order to gain maximum exposure after her trip to Iraq. According to an inside source, "Angie feels it is her responsibility to raise the visibility of the plight of displaced Iraqis and with the proliferation of celebrity pregnancies, thought this would be the perfect opportunity."
Meanwhile, during her trip to Iraq, she visited a number of orphanages in the hopes of adopting two babies. The source added, "Her plan is to have the adoption process finalized by the end of her fake nine month term. In her mind, those babies are just as much her flesh and blood as if she had given birth to them."

Okay. I wasn't in Paris. But, I did spend a night in St. Louis with Miss Hilton herself... and by spend a night I mean I watched her grace the red carpet and asked her a few pointless questions before she was to be DJ at St. Louis' hottest club, HOME at the Ameristar in St. Charles.
Paris showed up just a tad late, which I found to be impressive. She did her thing on the red carpet, striking a few poses in her black dress and skull scarf. I was at the end of the carpet, and she was brought over to answer just a couple questions, and then it happened...
After fretting the whole night over whether or not my dress was appropriate (i.e. hoochie enough) for the evening, Paris comes up and says, "I like your dress."

Like Oprah and her "Favorite Things" episode I have been secretly working behind-the-scenes on this for weeks. Negotiating with record label corporate suits and even yanking it out from under another top internet gossip blogger to be able to launch it here, on "A Socialite's Life" for the first time ever. Am I over selling it? Maybe. But also maybe not. My Medicine card for today was a Tiger which of course means this should be the NEXT BIG VIRAL VIDEO HIT!
Let me introduce to you, as a WORLD PREMIERE EXCLUSIVE, the one and only- Heavy Vee!!

On actors day today of the WGA strike, many famous faces showed up to provide support to the writers striking outside of the various studios in Hollywood. ASL stopped by to chat with Sarah Silverman, Kathy Griffin and Laura Silverman to get their take on the strike and what they'd like you to know about it. Also, at the very beginning, when Lisa appears extremely awkward, it's because Sarah Silverman totally touched her boob, when helpfully removing a stray hair that had drifted from Lisa's head to her chest. It was a triumph for everyone today--the writers, actors and Lisa's boobs.

The People's Choice Awards Nominations were announced last night by Paula Abdul, Ryan Seacrest of "American Idol," Scott Foley ("The Unit") and A.J. Cook ("Criminal Minds") who revealed the nominees for each category. Ultimately, however, it is actually up to the people to vote for their favorites, or the electoral college decides...right? As you can see, even the concept of voting for celebrities baffles me, much less the President of the United States. It's going to be a sad November next year. However, you can get in on the action by casting your vote for your favorite smile here!
In any case, "The Bourne Ultimatum" racked up the most nominations and other multiple nominees were such films as "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" and "Transformers." In the reality show/competition category, "Dancing with the Stars," "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" and "American Idol" are competing for the title. Justin Timberlake received nominations for favorite pop song, favorite male singer as well kudos for his participation on the song, "Give It to Me," which was nominated for favorite hip-hop song. Jessica Alba was nominated for both favorite female action star, as well as favorite leading lady. Again, I'm clearly not voting correctly, or that would never have happened.
After the nominations were announced, Crest and Scope hosted a party for the announcers and various other celebs who showed up to the event. Because of the two sponsors of the event, it was a bright green carpet in lieu of red, at the Area nightclub in L.A. All of the announcers walked the carpet, and were also joined by the Kardashians as well as a few others.

More exclusive photos (The Kardashians, Paula Abdul, AJ Cook, Jonathan Lipnicki, Tuc Watkins, Ryan Seacrest) from the Crest and Scope People's Choice Nomination Announcements party green carpet are after the jump.

Now, we know Halloween was yesterday, but we're still feeling the scary vibe of the holiday and thought we'd share with this video of Rachel Nichols talking about her movie "P2", along with an interview with the film's director.
Add to My Profile | More Videos
Franck Khalfoun, first-time feature-film director of the suspense-filled thriller, "P2," agreed to chat with me about his film. Khalfoun, having had been writing for over twenty years on various projects, is admittedly excited about his first big movie as a director. "P2" is the name of both the film and the level in the parking structure in which a young, ladder-climbing executive, Angela Bridges (Rachael Nichols), finds herself being held hostage by a security guard, Thomas (Wes Bentley), who has apparently been stalking her for some time. It's Christmas Eve, her cell phone doesn't work and Angela soon realizes the only way she can get out of this situation alive is to rely on her own resources to escape.
Keep in mind that I haven't yet seen the film, which opens in theaters November 9th, but I did check out the trailer, and I'm going to be honest--I'm the WORST when it comes to watching movies that are remotely scary. Seriously. I passed out when watching foot surgery in high school. But, I am a lover of film, and I was excited to talk with someone who had just gotten his big break and wasn't yet too jaded and big for his britches to chat with us.
Well, it's funny because when I started watching the trailer and reading the synopsis, it reminds me a lot of a Richard Linklater from 2001 - I don't know if you're familiar with it, it's called "Tape." And it kind of reminded me just because it was three characters only, in the movie, and they were all in a hotel room the entire time. And it wasn't quite a psychological thriller in the sense that yours is, but I love the idea of a finite space and just very few characters, so that it becomes very internal.
Yes, it's fun, but at the same time challenging to make a movie that's interesting. I don't know that movie--you stumped me, but I'm going to have to check it out.
Check out the rest of Lisa's interview with Franck after the jump--if you dare, mwahahaha!
(It's not really that scary. I was kidding. But seriously, you should keep reading...)
