Rumor has it that Tori Spelling will be joining her old castmate Jennie Garth in the new Beverly Hills: 90210 spinoff.
The new show has been picked up by the CW, and will be set to air in the coming fall season. Jennie has been set to play a grown-up Kelly Taylor, who is now a guidance counselor at the old West Beverly High.
No word on what Tori will be doing, but I would say it's safe to assume she will be playing a grown-up Donna Martin, stepsister-in-law to Kelly. Does this mean they have to bring back the husband/stepbrother David Silver as well?
This spinoff is going to have the exact same drama of 90210 we all knew and loved! At least a girl can hope, and having Donna back is sure going to make that a lot easier to accomplish on the new series.

Ok, you know that. But Kelly Taylor is coming back! Praise Jaysus! Jennie Garth will reprise her role as West Beverly High's second biggest bitch in the 90210 spinoff coming to the CW. If they can do a storyline as random and awesome as when she got caught in the fire with the lesbian, I am so onboard for this one.
Kelly Taylor will apparently be working as guidance counselor at West Beverly High in the new show. Can you imagine her guidance?
"Listen, young lady, I was raped, shot, joined a cult, burned, had amnesia, was taken hostage by a psychotic roommate and did some teen modeling. I know you're nervous about what college you're going to get into, but get over yourself. You don't know what drama is."
Jennie dropped out of a CBS pilot last month to do this show. Smart. You know the rest of the old cast is chomping at the friggin' bit to get a part in this crap. Except for Hilary Swank. I think she's all set.
If the new show can have scenes as 1/2 as cheesy as when Dylan and Kelly told Brenda they were banging, it will be amazing.

Don't you dare tease me, Rob Thomas! The Veronica Mars producer is readying a spin-off of 90210 and if that wasn't hot enough, now it looks like Kelly Taylor might be on board! Jennie Garth has pulled out of a sitcom project, sparking rumors that she's making the move to reprise her more favorite role. Garth played Kelly Taylor, the queen of West Beverly!
Sources say that Garth exited CBS' My Best Friend's Girlon Monday after only the first table read. Garth may have left because she's been dealing with the recent death of her Dad. But it's also been reported that they might bring Kelly Taylor back as West Beverly's fashion design teacher.
Wait, wasn't Donna Martin the fashion designer? And Kelly was...was she a model? A model with burns from that fire with the lesbian? They better stick to continuity! I want Jackie Taylor making appearances, and Erin and Mel Silver the dentist and at least one visit from Dylan's Mom Iris! Wait, will Dylan be on? Oh god, I think I just achieved orgasm.
