Here are happy new parents Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez at the Christian Dior cruise collection extravaganza! One of the faces of the brand, Charlize Theron, was also there in a purple dress that I think I would have loved on her if the neck part weren't so weird. Otherwise, it looks very flowery and pretty and in such a striking color.
Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester was also there in a lush color herself, rocking a strapless green dress that reminds me an awful lot of a yellow frock she donned recently at the Metropolitan Opera. Very cute. The girl knows how to dress.
OMG, Rachel Zoe looks kind of like she's dying. I'd be concerned except that that's probably her goal since you can't gain weight when you're dead. Also, I love me some matter-of-fact Lauren Hutton, walking around with her shoes off cause her post-menopausal feet hurt. And Christina Aguilera is still spray-painting her face. I am impressed that there doesn't appear to be a smudge on her white suit.

Gossip Girl is making everyone moist with their recent episodes full of revelation, and melodrama! Ok, I don't watch it but I know people who live and die by this show. Last week's show dropped a major bomb on CW viewers. It's a big ole' spoiler so if you don't want to know, DON'T FOLLOW THE JUMP, bitches!
Leighton Meester knows how she looks. I know the crazy little twits on Gossip Girl are supposed to be dictating what the kids should wear nowadays, but who has the time? Petticoats, ascots, white gloves, and spats? Kids that dress like that are going to get their asses beat! Believe me, I know. I once tried to wear a white blazer to junior high and I'm still scarred from the bullying!
Leighton will reprised her role as pop singer Justine Chapin on Entourage next season. She appeared as the character with a crush on Adrian Grenier's Vince in season one. Leighton shares a manager with Entourage producer Mark Wahlberg.

Leighton Meester was making like a real life socialite at the opening night of La Fille du Régiment at the Metropolitan Opera in NYC in a dress that is a color I might not usually champion, but I feel like she's got the skin tone and the lipstick to pull it off. She missed out on last night's episode of Gossip Girl, in which her character, Blair, was knocked out of her status as top bitch when it was revealed to her peers that she had been hit with a pregnancy scare after sleeping with Chuck.
Meester talked to Us Weekly about her hopes for her character's development, "I want the bitch to come back right now." She added, "I think she has to claw her way back up to the top." Well, she was rubbing elbows with one of the best of them, with Naomi Campbell showing up at the event after being subdued with elephant tranquilizers and agreeing to wear an invisible muzzle, so she wouldn't be tempted to bite or spit anyone. Leighton should be taking notes.

The cast of Gossip Girl grace the cover of the latest issue of New York Magazine and an article inside gushes openly about how it is "the most awesomely awesome show ever" and I'd poke fun at them, except that it's completely accurate. The authors admit to an initial attempt at an ironic love for the show, which gradually evolved into a genuine passion.
Listing off six reasons why the show is so ardently loved, the article says it best by describing it, "like The Hills--but with less agonizing dialogue and more human deviance." Also, the complete and utter lack of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt is a noticeable advantage.

I love pictures of these girls. For those of you visiting the site for the first time, here are co-stars, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester on the set of their CW show, Gossip Girl and we love them. I'm not one for girl crushes, but Blake is channeling Steve McQueen in this picture of her wearing a leather jacket. When I see that the rest of the outfit is Pocahontas-meets-Catholic-school-girl, my fires of desire dwindle a bit, but I do find myself thinking that I could easily look past it, as long as she kept holding on to that purse.
Meanwhile, Leighton is dressed exactly like what would happen if Snow White married rich and decided that all that "being sweet" business was for the birds. It's cute because she's right.
