Now that the cat's been let out of the bag about Angelina Jolie's twins, as well as her due date, Angie herself has let a little information about her babies slip out as well. The extremely pregnant actress dished to Roger Friedman at a party for her animated film Kung Fu Panda in Cannes that her little twin girls are expected to be fraternal.
I don't understand the nuances of reading a sonogram, but Jolie reportedly told Friedman that "there was a line" on it that I guess suggests that the baby girls won't be identical. However, they have been tested and (whew!) they're both still going to be beautiful. Bullet dodged!

I feel like Angie looks her happiest when she's pregnant. Still though, it's still a bit unnerving to see how thin the rest of her is, when just her belly and boobies expand while she's gestating kiddos. And by "unnerving," I really mean "completely and utterly mind-boggling."
On pretty much a daily basis, I see pictures of these two schlepping around, the kids in tow, Brad wearing his beloved newsboy cap and whatnot. But I forget just how stunning of a couple these two are on the red carpet. I'm loving the hell out of her green dress and Brad always looks good in a simple tux.

Cate Blanchett just popped out a kid four weeks ago and hit up the red carpet for the Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony looking fantastic. I like her. She doesn't bore with tales of counting calories and ridiculous exercise routines. I always find those so damn tedious. The Australian actress once told Glamour magazine (and I think it bears repeating), "Death is not going to be any easier just because your face can't move."
Awesome. That's almost cool enough to warrant being a tattoo, except that I don't have that level of commitment in me.

Here's some snaps of the fiery-hot Julianne Moore at the premiere of Blindness at the Cannes Film Festival. The movie is about what happens one day when everyone in a town wakes up blind. Except for Julianne. That sounds all sorts of depressing. Though who wouldn't want the beautiful Julianne Moore as their seeing-eye movie star?
One reviewer referred to the film as "a wrist-slitting nightmare about tedious next-door neighbours who are forced to shelve their ethnic, social, and sexual differences when the entire world suddenly comes to a grinding halt." Remind me to see this one when I'm hungover and depressed. It sounds like they'll be sponging my blood off the walls.

(CUE EARLY 90S GUITAR RIFF) You hear that? It's the sound of 90210 returning to television. Woo hoo! The CW just announced that the Beverly Hills 90210 spin-off is set to hit airwaves next season, bringing Lori Laughlin and Jessica Walter along for the ride, who I'm guessing will be taking on the roles of the adults on the show, since everyone else looks to be about 20, which in 90210 years means they're actually 27.
And as for the rest of the red carpet attendees, that is a whole lot of pretty, young people populating the event. Michelle Trachtenberg is stunning. Although, taking a peek at the group photo of the 90210 cast it looks like the Gossip Girls cast have a distinct advantage in the fashion department.
Speaking of fashion, Mama Tyra and her children were out as well. Ty-Ty herself was rocking her spring wig with blonde highlights and soft curls, which I'm actually liking on her. And just to make sure that her ladies stay in place, she's got her weight belt cinched nice and high, also in case a spontaneous modeling weight-lifting challenge happens to break out.
Also, what is up with Jaslene? She is looking shiny as hell, her dress looks like it was fashioned out of a Christmas tree skirt and from the neck up, she's singlehandedly attempting to bring back Jennifer Lopez's look pre-Selena, but as bad as her outfit is, at least we can't hear her talking.

Oh and you thought we would be able to limit our amusement with the Sex and the City ladies at their world premiere for the film to just one post? How you overestimated our ability to economize words. No, here we are, taking a second look at red carpet pictures to make sure that we weren't dreaming this all up.
First off, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Catrall could not be more annoyed that their friend decided that dressing like a frothy tropical cocktail would be a HILARIOUS way to kick off their movie. Kim's still shocked that she agreed to star in the film in the first place and Cynthia's missing her lesbian girlfriend, who limits her fashion adventures to changing the colored scarf in the lapel of her pin-stripe suits.
Then there's Kristin Davis, who is smiling the smile of a child of warring parents who are dangerously close to getting a divorce, convincing herself that everything is all right. Quite frankly, she's just elated that she's not spending her day filming another 7Up Plus commercial.

Look at Sarah Jessica Parker laughing spitefully at us sheep. All these years, she's been the one getting the punchline of the joke that has been her ridiculous Sex and the City wardrobe and the ultimate prank has been her arriving to the UK premiere of the SATC movie with a flower arrangement jutting out of her head.
Meanwhile you can tell that the other ladies are finally realizing what we've suspected for some time, which is that SJP has been testing the limits of what the world will swallow in the name of "fashion."
The strained smiles on her co-stars' faces reveal that they're simply planning on making it through this promotional tour of the movie before cutting all ties from Parker, hoping that maniacal Sarah Jessica will refrain from wearing the champagne cork ball gown she's had designed specifically for the next premiere while wearing a costume axe and her hair dripping in fake blood.

Hilary Duff strut her stuff at Allure magazine's photo exhibition and silent auction on Wednesday night. Here she is being escorted by her hockey player boyfriend, Mike Comrie. He cleans up well. His head is as big as mine, so James Van Der Beek and I know his pain. The three of us should take our enormous melons out for beers and perhaps we can persuade the hockey player to lose clothing. Hockey players are hot as long as they manage to hold onto the teeth.
The event was to benefit skin cancer research and ties in with Hil appearing on the cover of Allure's May issue. Inside, celebs such as Angie Harmon, Gabrielle Union, Jill Scott, and Ana Ortiz pose nude.
Hilary recently verified that she is "not engaged!" Yes, there was an exclamation point. Settle down, Chiclets! I hope Katherine McPhee finds work soon. She's far too pretty not to.

Here's some pics from the premiere of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Tilda Swinton must be reprising her role as the White Witch in a ghost capacity because I'm pretty sure she got eaten by a lion or something in the last one. Ben Barnes is a new addition as the title character of Prince Caspian.
Director Andrew Adamson commented on the screenwriters shoehorning in a romance between Prince Caspian and the Susan Pevensie character. Which is blasphemous, because THAT didn't take place in the book that I read when I was a kid. Ugh, don't ruin a good thing!
"I think it's very sensitively handled," he said. "The kids are growing up. If you look at Ben and you look at Anna, it seems really implausible that they wouldn't have some feelings for each other."
Like hell! Let's have a seance and ask C.S. Lewis! Why don't we just have Aslan leave his career as Narnia's savior and take a job with a competing firm?

Photographers recently posted pictures of Mischa Barton in a bikini and the Internet was buzzing with over the cellulite on the 22-year-old's thighs and rear end. The actress, who is 5'9" and a size 4 can hardly be described as fat and is responding, Jennifer Love Hewitt-style. She chatted with OK! Magazine, explaining the shots, "Every woman does have cellulite! I just feel like the photographers try to get the most unflattering shots."
And do you know how Mischa's making herself feel better about her body image? Front-pleated pants, of course! There's nothing like creating the illusion of a protruding abdomen to distract from any cellulite that might be hiding on the back of your thighs. And if you're feeling particularly down, then throw on a floral print leotard for good measure. At least that way, you've made a conscious decision about what you would like to be ridiculed for.
Also, showing up at an event where you know Lohan women are likely to be lurking is a good way to make yourself feel better about your appearance. Those Lohan ladies sure do love their sun-damage!
