First Daughter Jenna Bush got hitched. She married Henry Hager, whom she met while work on her father's 2004 re-electiion campaign. Well at least something nice came out of that. Dick Cheney managed not to shoot anybody in the face during the wedding.
The couple were married just before sundown beside a lake at the President's 1,600 acre Prairie Chapel ranch in Crawford, Texas. The bride and her mother Laura Bush wore Oscar De La Renta, who is a personal friend of the family. The got married in front of a limestone cross and altar which will remain as a permanent part of the property. Jenna's twin sister Barbara served as the maid of honor.
Jenna's the first daughter of an active President to be married in 16 years.
"This is a joyous occasion for our family, as we celebrate the happy life ahead of (Jenna) and her husband, Henry," the president said in his weekly radio broadcast Saturday morning. "It's also a special time for Laura, who this Mother's Day weekend will watch a young woman we raised together walk down the aisle."
Wasn't Jenna a crazy drunken slut when she was younger? Way to clean up, babe.

Here's some celebrity ladies working the runway for the Heart Truth campaign's Red Dress Collection fashion show in NYC. Celebs like Heidi Klum, Ashanti, Camryn Manheim, Sara Ramirez and others put on some red frocks and turned it out. First Lady Laura Bush was on hand, as the Heart Truth campaign to battle heart disease in women is one of Lady Bush's pet causes. Howabout reducing the dumbass in your husband as a cause? Get that bitch to read a book or something. As you can see, Heidi Klum and Lisa Rinna turned on the foolishness on the runway. Heidi commented that the show has a good vibe and is a lot more fun that your usual fashion show so they just kinda went for it and acted zany. It does look like fun, but Lisa Rinna's fishmouth might creep me out a bit. Those look painful and in need of salve or something.

Here's Oscar-nominated artist/director Julian Schnabel with Ed Burns and Christy Turlington. He's hot shit because he's nominated for an Oscar this year for his movie "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly". But he's also hot shit because he received AmFar's Award of Courage for selling millions of dollars of his artwork and donating it to AIDS research, etc. AmFar had a gala the other night, hosted by Marc Jacobs, Kenneth Cole and Lou Reed. Barry Manilow played! I'm not a Fanilow, but others are and hearing "Mandy" while getting drunk on expensive champage sounds like a good time to me. Other Award of Courage recipients included French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld and Bobby Shriver, chief executive of RED.

Laura Bush found her face matched her red dress on Sunday. The White House's yearly holiday party hosted to the high powered and a-list of the political world.
When Mrs. Bush came down to the party she found three other women wearing the same Oscar de la Renta dress that she was sporting. A red floor length gown seemed to made quite an impression. The First Lady made a sociable round then had the Bush Family portrait taken. After the photo she dashed upstairs and returned to the party wearing a black sequined dress. She was said to have laughed off the mishap.
