Why is he insistent on transforming his wife into some weird 50s housewife robot? It's creepy. Here's Tom Cruise, wife Katie Holmes and their daughter Suri watching David Beckham play soccer. Tom's movie Valkyrie'srelease date has been pushed back again.
The movie, a true story in which Tom plays a Nazi planning to kill Adolph Hitler, had already been pushed to autumn despite the initial release being set for this summer. Now it's set for sometime in 2009. Straight to DVD! Clearance bin!
The movie has had a lot of issues, including damaged film, lukewarm test screenings, and concern over Tom's German accent. Tom Cruise ist verrückt und schwul. Mine's ok, though.

The British are funny. And racist! The Daily Mail inferred from David Beckham's new beard and shaved head that he was in the Taliban. No, really. Really? Yeah. Wow. That's kinda reaching.
J. Harvey is growing a beard right now, but it has nothing to do with Al Qaeda. It's because my ass is tired of shaving. Seriously, I've had it. I'm going to look all kinds of gnarly for early spring. I'm bringing back the old man of the mountains look. Like it ever left.
"With his shaved head, and flourishing beard, Beckham's new look has prompted onlookers to ask whether he has secretly joined the Taliban," the Daily Mail says in a recent article.
David played with his LA Galaxy team this weekend and showed off the scruff. Who cares? I think it looks kinda rad. You know it must piss wife Victorian Beckham off, so that's a keeper.

You know where that bottle's going. It looks like the aftermath of a gay civil union! This picture seriously makes me want to hold some sort of caption contest. Play at home! Tom Cruise and David Beckham are reportedly considering purchasing a soccer team together.
"Purchasing a soccer team together" is the new "predatory queen convinced dumb jock to give in to his advances." Sources say that David wants to make the transition from team player to team owner. The two realize that they could attract all the top players to their boy harem...I mean, soccer team.
I don't mean to work blue here, but Tom's had bigger things up him. That gurl can ride the biggest and the best. Olivia Newton John's missing husband is probably up him, along with Paris and Britney's missing dogs, the wallet that the hooker stole from me in Vegas, and the lost continent of Atlantis.

About time, and 3 gajillion dollars later! David Beckham scored his first goal for the LA Galaxy in a game against the San Jose Earthquakes last night. Have Americans really embraced soccer since he started here? Is it at a fever pitch? Have the rednecks been watching? No.
His team won 2-0.
David's career with the Galaxy has been slightly lukewarm since he started. He had an injury, and he brought over his fashion alien wife to terrorize the countryside, which probably didn't make him beloved to his teammates. And the more I write about him, the more I think he's really boring. Yes, he has oddly shaped testicles, but a lot of guys do.

David Beckham recently achieved the honor of being only the 5th Englishman to play 100 soccer games for England. That's a good thing, right? Anyway, David took his wife Victoria to celebrate in Paris with the rest of his family.
They dined at the Baccarat restaurant, where Eva Longoria and Tony Parker had their wedding rehearsal dinner. David's extended family were already there as they arrived. Victoria had the crumb off a baguette and she was sated for the rest of the meal. She needs to fit into those leather pants she's been showing off lately!
"This is a moment which will remain in my memory forever. I'm very proud," David told a French newspaper. His estranged Dad who recently suffered a heart attack watched his 100th game as well with the rest of the family. They had a falling-out over a book Dad Beckham wrote. But all is well, now. You want your kids back, fake cardiac arrest!

Believe it or not, I don't know that much about sports. And all this talk in regards to the friendly match of France vs. England, in which David Beckham is playing for his home country had me a little confused as to what exactly all the fuss was about. From my understanding, it marks the 100th time the footballer will be stepping out onto the field for England.
And it's obviously a big deal, with David's family filling a private box to watch him play, as you can see from the picture here. According to Becks, "Having my family and all the fans there was incredible and to get the reception I did from both sets of fans when I came off was amazing."
Good for him. But then again, I would expect nothing less from a man who wears golden shoes. Also, it's nice to see that Victoria left the cat burglar costume at home. I have a sneaking suspicion it might have given her a yeast infection.

David Beckham left his new home of sunny Los Angeles, California, to visit England and enjoyed some snow flurries while in town. He's currently there for a training session to prepare for England's match against France on Wednesday. The occasion will mark David's 100th public appearance and is taking place per special request by England's coach, Fabio Capello.
Capello recently addressed the issue of why he asked David to come back, saying, "I understand the nation's obsession with Beckham, but I am not obsessed with him. I called him up because I believe he will be useful for the team." Yes, and here's David getting himself all warmed up. The best picture, however, is the first one after the jump where he's really getting his stretch on. Just look at those crisp, white shorts...

David Beckham is wearing these enormous sunglasses because his future is just so damn bright. He's coming up on a pretty big milestone in his soccer/spokesmodel career--he is preparing to make his 100th public appearance playing for England's national team. Beckham, who currently plays for the L.A. Galaxy, was selected by the manager of England's team, Fabio Cappello, to play in a friendly match against France.
And of course, any success of his on the field translates to more money in his pocket off the green, especially in Europe. Sports management group G2 rep says of Beckham's upcoming match, "If he gets picked for England, that will boost his marketing appeal immensely." Because really, if the most important part of professional sports isn't about selling shit, then I don't know what is.

Even though Victoria Beckham likes to maintain that her husband David is sensitive and romantic and mushy, he's obviously all man when it comes to soccer. David was seen holding his crotch and man-scratching during the LA Galaxy's game yesterday while preparing to defend a free kick with a teammate.
Later he is seen arguing with the other team after he fouled, earning himself a yellow card. I'm not sure what that entails, but Becks just looks so sexy when he is angry and in his uniform!
